I uh, didn't think it was a name. Considering the other choices that doesn't make sense.
Also none of the Merchants actually LOOK like Merchants. They look like a gang of druggies.

True but when some posts above mentioned being a shady power merchant, it drew me to the comparison with the worm gang.
Though considering that is what we could have done in the first vote, run up to random girls and saying "hey you wanna be a magic girl", it brings that image to mind. though it would have been just as creepy as kyubey.
But in the end this is only the first costume and who knows maybe the image could change latter when we do specific actions. As in looking like a ninja to be more sneaky, or dressing like a worm superhero when going incognito.

lets be the goofy looking but scary and possibly PR friendly villain/Hero or other and if we want we can say that we are a case 53
and i like the Merchant of Darkness would fit our persona of making shady deals
i changed my vote to

because full body covering and leather i dont want to be killed by the stings but lets have it be our hero or anti-hero costume
lets be a real merchant and hiding in the shadows regaining our power and not throw our self into fights and we could all the things we need for the costume in the alleyways
