[X] You've regained some of the Original's power and you're just itching to use them. Go find some criminal scum and engage in gratuitous amounts of violence. Maybe destroy a gang or two while you're at it. Honestly, you really need to let out some steam. Getting thrown into another reality was not on your fucking to do list!
[X] Gangs, villains, monsters. This world is full of dark forces. Why not join them? There's plenty of fun to be had with robbing banks and beating down super-powered thugs in spandex. Who knows, eventually you could conquer this pitiful, grimdark world. You'd love to see Original Jacob's face then.

[X] Hmm... Short term, you'd want to set up shop as a 'mysterious sales person', for you need details on the precise players of this world, how to magic up the setting, how to 'save' and convert despairate talents to the Black Kingdom... And how to eventually conquer this Superhero obsessed universe, get back to your home world in time, and maybe even complete a different long term project to revive the Black King before Original Jacob finds out about it.
-[X] And maybe then, you'd go beyond 'expendable body double', and more 'extra Ebon Double'. Or build a resumé to ensure divergence wise, it'd be in his best interests to treat you as a sort of 'dark bro'. Yeah... And, if you can even complete the more dangerous long term projects in this world, without the Light forces ever knowing? All the better...

Just so we can build up a power base and start a total take over of the city and it's capes. We are the person who helps, but in the end we will pull a Naboo. For those who don't know what this is, stealing everything that is not nailed down, then coming back help fix everything, make then people love you, and take everything that is nailed down.

Classic evil clone.

Prime Jacob vs Clone Jacob(Seriously new name please)
Alpha Jacob and Beta Jacob. After taking over the world and fighting with Alpha over who's the best Jacob he'll become the Omega Jacob.

According to the Hebrew Bible, Esau is the progenitor of the Edomites and the elder twin brother of Jacob, the patriarch of the Israelites.
Or maybe let's call him Esau. Bonus for becoming the leader of Ebonites
More Wikipedia said:
Esau, a "man of the field" became a hunter[1] who had "rough"[2] qualities that distinguished him from his twin brother. Among these distinguishing qualties were his red hair and noticeable hairiness.[9] Jacob was a shy or simple man, depending on the translation of the Hebrew word "Tam" (which also means "relatively perfect man").[8] Throughout Genesis, Esau is frequently shown as being supplanted by his younger twin Jacob (Israel).[10]
It even has a potential for story itself- this is no longer the original Jacob. He's in a different world, with different rules.
He could eventually become a very different Jacob than one he used to be.
... I wish I could write-in an option for Clone!Jacob to dye his hair red.

On one hand, I wanna go beat up the gangs like crazy.
On the other hand, old habits and morally ambiguous mystery guy with powers is way too fun and lacking in Worm.

Well, stick to what you know.

Also totally hoping the reunite will be like 'Sup', and *High-Five*. Maybe it's because of Rick and Morty, but Council of Jacobs maybe a thing lol. The thought amuses me.

Expand the Ebon Kingdom is my main goal for now.

Another thing I want to know is how well Ebon pairs against Parahumans.

Hmm...

How about a combination of "old habits", and "long term conquest."

Because if we're seriously gunning to get back, rapidly expand on the Black Kingdom in the long scale, and maybe even complete projects at the scale of Slaughterhouse 9 going dere? Then we can easily far surpass the original, give said Black Kingdom one hell of a 'bailout' plan for more 'expendable' sacrifices and what have you, among others...

Only bane, would be pre-cogs, and potentially Contessa... Unless of course, we can eventually figure out a way to siphon out Scion from a threat, have a reasonable plan to do so past his Hax, and pitch our potential to do so for Cauldron, to become a potential 'hire' or investment, for our... Shadier needs.

We will inevitably end up in conflict with the "heroes" anyway, so escalating our power level before anyone realizes how broken we (eventually) are seems appropriate.

edit: magic SHOULD be an OCP in the wormverse, so I actually would be very surprised if any form of certain precog works on us.

Wow, I really want to vote, because this quest seems awesome, but all of the choices kind of suck. I don't like how they are both determining our current actions and our future attitude...

[ ] Go the hero route. Since you're pretty much functioning on your own without any real purpose other than what you decide yourself, you might as well give being a superhero a try. Go check out the Protectorate since they've been doing this hero thing for some plus going legit might be a nice change of pace for a change. You can always bail if things don't work out for you.

This is definitely a no. Not only did I come to these quests to play the villain, but nothing in the Wormverse ever improved by listening to the Protectorate.

[ ] Gangs, villains, monsters. This world is full of dark forces. Why not join them? There's plenty of fun to be had with robbing banks and beating down super-powered thugs in spandex. Who knows, eventually you could conquer this pitiful, grimdark world. You'd love to see Original Jacob's face then.

I love this choices style! Conquering this world is a perfect motivation, and even appeases the moralists, since we can make the world a better place, after they are under our rule. But I don't approve of the general action. We are the LORD OF EBON. We don't join the dark forces, we force them to join us! After we've broken them and bent them to our will of course. All of the "dark forces" in BB are more of the asshole variety, being either racists or drug addicts.

I hate this choices style. It's boring and leads us down the path of the original story, with our character doing nothing interesting. And yet it is probably the smartest choice since we're weak and don't know what we're doing.

[ ] You've regained some of the Original's power and you're just itching to use them. Go find some criminal scum and engage in gratuitous amounts of violence. Maybe destroy a gang or two while you're at it. Honestly, you really need to let out some steam. Getting thrown into another reality was not on your fucking to do list!

I like this ones style too! But its also a bad idea. I'm not sure we're strong enough to take on the whole city yet. Realistically, I see this choice ending with us in a PRT cell and being forced into the wards.

*sigh* I want us to be a proper villain instead of a wishy-washy morally grey. And yet I don't want to do anything stupid like join the gangs or worse launch a frontal assault.

I guess I'll go with this:

It's boring, but its the smartest option for now. I'll just have to hope we can prod it onto the "conquest" path instead of the "sit around and do nothing" path the original was on.

Changed my mind. Lets go full evil!

Sitting around and accomplishing all our goals without actually having to fight anybody, you mean. The difference is that we're not wasting our time and effort on making everybody's lives miserable while we win.

On the topic of pre-cogs: From the mage interlude we know that Jacob Prime is interfering with long term pre-cogs in his native universe, so it could be very similar in this instance. Our current choice is what we are doing right now, we can change from mind sets if we find a better stance for us. The Way I see it we have:

1) Go hero via the PRT. This would probably lock us down to using the official channels with the benefit of having backup and an official support structure. Also the irony of being a government sponsored hero and a Saturday morning cartoon villain.

Pros: Support structure, housing, legitimate paycheck, possible help with projects from people like Armsmaster or Miss Militia, legitimacy, and far less problems with the local government.
Cons: Fewer draining opportunities. Shifting stances to go villain/independent/vigilante is very problematic. Also minion making via magical girls of golems unlikely to be officially authorized.

2) Old habits die hard. Be the independent mysterious mage Ebon without making too many waves.

Pros: Can shift to a different MO very easily. Less attention, medium opportunity for draining targets, can make or recruit magical girls, seekers, golems, or other minions without penalty. Can accept alliance with any faction to begin with.
Cons: No support structure. Less reputation or assistance from other parties, will need to secure funds and housing, will need to maintain a lower profile so obvious actions will be avoided.

3) Use gratuitous amounts of violence. Beat up gangs/scum, and then proceed to drain them dry.

Pros: Fastest resource gain from draining and looting the scum of the earth. Massive reputation gains. Free to make minions. Good chance of getting offers of alliance. Depending on actions could be invited to PRT or Hero team.
Cons: Attention- will receive copious amounts of attention. Other parties will be motivated to do something about you right now. Large amounts of hostility from hit targets, depending on amount of force used could be excluded from a hero team and making enemies of all villain factions. Possible panic if minions are known to be created of an Ellisburg Scenario or Mastering magical girl recruits.

On a completely different note: could we drain Alabaster to death multiple times if he resets every 4 seconds? If so he would make an awesome battery. Could we juice up on Lung's life force an insane amount if he ramps up?

We're already doing the slow and quiet route in the main timeline, let's use this chance to go fucking wild. For the glory of the ebon emperor!

...actually that raises a good question, wormverse would be like, the PERFECT place to re-create the sword, can we make some of the ebon artifacts here to hasten the process?
