The Unforgiving Void (A Stellaris-type empire quest)

Please dont actually vote yet. Also the actual vote is in plan format. Let me go make that more clear.

for the aproche of other culture i would prefere full stleath

so stleath first contact
Unrestricted war against anyone that find us
stleathy experiement (minimal )
and for the first colony i want a direct control and then as we go could form "distric" of 5 to 10 planete each of them with a Governors but ultmatly directed by us

[X] Plan Stay Hidden
-[X] First Contact Protocol: Peaceful
-[X] War Policy: Unrestricted
-[X] Primitive Study: Limited Interferance
-[X] Colony Management: Governors to Lead

As the plan name suggests, this plan is focused around staying quiet, but still having the ability to make things explode if the situation calls for it.

What do people think of:
[ ] The population is to be combed for outliers to the fullest extent, those with a skill worthy of the Voice shall be consumed if in excess of current governmental demand
Basically trying to increase Hero Recruitment but absorbing them sooner so we can't suddenly expand by making use of pooled heroes. +Hero Refresh -Hero Slots

[ ] The Undying simply require an atmosphere, not a specific range of gases. This makes asteroid colonies much easier to maintain since gas flow isn't required beyond replacement to the Void or liquification. Create an Asteroid Colony protocol for colonizing the larger asteroids in Belts.

Also a potential Research:
Winding Station, that charges IN-SKIP in advance so ships can simply dock with the station and launch quickly while the station remains. This will reduce response time and turnaround time for defense fleets and trade 'lanes'

The IN-SKIP Drive is a triumph not only of science but of making ridiculously convoluted names for the exclusive point of having cool acronyms. The exact science behind this is way beyond pretty much any species but yours. With almost double the wind up time of the Warp Drive, you will not be having a good time making short jumps. This pales in comparison to the benefits. While making blind jumps is all but suicide, Jumps into charted territory are instantaneous.

From what I get We have hard time discovering systems but when we map it we can basically teleport to mapped territory

Yes you teleport instantly to your destination. This combined with your ability to colonize otherwise barren worlds with some tech means you could in theory have a massive shadow empire below the surface of the galaxy, only a few colonies on noticeable planets, many spread throughout the galaxy hiding in plain sight beneath high levels of radiation and the like.

[X] Plan Reactive
-[X] First Contact Protocol: Reactive - You will attempt to create a positive image in those aliens you meet but, if the aliens' response indicates taking an aggressive stance in either word or action is necessary to ensure the safety of the ship and your people as a whole, an aggressive stance will be taken.
-[X] War Policy: Don't Initiate, But Follow Through - The Undying will not attack those who don't attack them, but will give those who do no mercy.
-[X] Primitive Study - Limited Interference
-[X] Colony Management - Partial Oversight - Governors will be instated and deal with day-to-day matters, but will send reports regularly and send matters important on a wider scale upwards. Governors will instate embassies on other colonies and the home world in order to maintain oversight of and connection with other governors.

#lets do it

[X] Plan: Hidden Empire
-[X] Write-In First Contact: Benevolent -- All that you meet will see you as an enlightened, benevolent race. None will want to war with you, for you will give them no reason to. But slowly, in shadow, you will shape their societies to your will, so that they will adapt to you and, in time, be worthy of becoming part of the People.
-[X] Unrestricted
-[X] Write-In Primitive Studies: Uplifting -- You will shape the primitives into good vassals, gifting them with the benefit of your wisdom. Your hands will be gentle and those primitive leaders deemed worthy of it, will be allowed the privilege of Ascension.
-[X] Write-In Colonies: Hidden Worlds -- There will be hidden colonies that no outsiders will know about. And there will be colonies open to the galaxy, showing the wisdom and magnificence of your civilization. There will be Full Control.

I'm thinking about a mix of Asari/B5-Shadows. Thoughts?

And here you should probably add that we are always trying to hide from others

That rather collide with shadow empire theme, isn't it? Or you want play role of mythical figures/gods that give wisdom and knowledge?

Hmm... I wasn't really expecting you lot to go for the shadow empire cohabitation with other empires. Thought you would go heavy stealth tech and just disappear anything that comes in your corner of the galaxy. Interesting either way.

"With almost double the wind-up time of the Warp Drive"
I want to remove the downside for regular traffic and defends fleets so they can instantly teleport in if we get attacked.
The wind up is inherent in the drive. There is no way to cheat that other than starting the wind up earlier. Sensor stations might work though
