Ooh Spinoff Quest...
No, it's genetic, and we're not physics. Also do you think it's possible for us to gain a Parahumanpower?
I know this should be quite obvious but I do have to ask how are we playing clone Jacob(We need a better name. Anti-Viilian, Pure Villina, Hero, Anti-Hero although the two antis are pretty much the same.
Also do you think it's possible for us to gain a Parahumanpower? Or steal one considering how parahumans work in the WormVerse.
No, it's genetic, and we're not physics.
We could totally mimic one, though, I guess, depending on if its gullible or not.
Eh, that'd just be a straight hero who recognizes how self-destructive the system is.Also, our ebon power is like 100 times better with none of the side effects. Don't forget that in Worm, powers are basically alien parasites that attach to your brain. Are you really asking to get an alien parasite?
Also, we should totally be an anti-hero. Save the world without bowing to the stupid parahuman rules that keep anything from getting better.
Eh, that'd just be a straight hero who recognizes how self-destructive the system is.
I mean, I never said that we'd be heroes, just that not toeing the line wouldn't make us an anti-villain, just like how violating a "No Paladins Allowed" sign on somebody's front porch doesn't make a Paladin a law-breaker.Ah, but when the system is corrupt not toeing the line gets you vilified! Be prepared to be called villains if we don't do things the PRT way.
Also, most heroes don't summon armies of monsters, or drain life energy, or kill their enemies to ensure they don't break out of prison and seek revenge. With our powerset and mindset, I doubt we'll fit in with the heroes unless we make a dedicated effort.
This alien parasite is the elephant in the room right now. Also, our ebon power is like 100 times better with none of the side effects. Don't forget that in Worm, powers are basically alien parasites that attach to your brain. Are you really asking to get an alien parasite?
He may not see the shard itself, rather the connection to it to another dimension. Ah, also:Worm Wiki said:Once a host is chosen, the Shard is sequestered in an alternate, barren Earth where it processes the complexities of the power and serves as an energy source. By doing so the Shard remains safe from damage, with its only connection to the host existing through the Corona Pollentia.
a)Shards can communicate with one another. => they are connected (or can connect) to Entity as well.Worm Wiki said:During a second trigger event, the Shard networks with other Shards and draws on collective information to bypass the restrictions and save its host.
They're really big creature-computers, as we'd understand them. I don't think they'd have much of a soul, but there'd be tons of mental energy.
Only in so much as normal connections allow him to follow things. So probably, because magic is cheating.a) Is the connection through brain something he can 'follow' (be it through accessing the Shard and/or the other dimension)
Shards are entirely material existences. No souls in the Wormverse, before we tried to stick our two settings together.b) Does it contain any unknown/special elements or is it made only with known energies (such as memorum and mana).
They're really big creature-computers, as we understand them, so yes, if we can get to them.
Probably a bad idea.c) Can it be modified and/or "installed" inhis own(not recommended- makes people conflictive) his minion's brain?
Besides angering every shard, including the space-whale?3) Will interactions with the Shard cause any unwanted effects?
If we don't stop them, ooh yeah they will. This is exactly the sort of thing they're trying to ferret out.
Running away from the dragon. Every time weaker ebon is beaten by stronger ebon. The golems not acting like what their vessels looking like.
Okay it does follow a set of consistent rules, except those are it's own rules. Ebon's logic trumps reality's logic with pretty much every feature.
That's... I am not sure whether's it's a limitation/mistake(?) of Ebon Power or it rejecting reality and supplementing it's own.
Dragon was guarding the Ebon Emperor's vault , so he's most likely jacked up with Ebon Power of far higher level than Jacob was at the time.
So that statement holds true. Also the Entity doesn't have Ebon Power. It has the weakest Ebon- by having none of it.
Ebon follows Ebon logic. Your arguments are pointless, because they're not what I'm arguing about; you asked when logic stopped Ebon power, and I pointed out that Ebon follows logic all the time, that's it. It's an Orderly Power that's stronger when dealing with things inside its system. Playing Ebon's game is how it beats you. Entities are stronger because they aren't Ebon.Okay it does follow a set of consistent rules, except those are it's own rules. Ebon's logic trumps reality's logic with pretty much every feature.

So in the end we still have a fighting chance against the Entity.

Okay. And just to make things interesting, five people roll me a d6.
