[X] The city of Jakarta itself lays abandoned and in ruins yet your scout's sensors have detected signs of movement within. It might be prudent to investigate given the close proximity to your base.

June 2031 Bandit Suppression Pt1
[X] Establish new base in Singapore. (3 Build Slot)
The locals have set aside an island just off the coast of Singapore for your base. While it is not inside the Fortress City proper, it is also home to the largest patch of Tiberium in the area. Airlifting your MCV to the site, you quickly establish a training base along with all the basic necessities.

[X] Form new formation (Singapore Training Battalion)
[X] Subterranean APC

With the base constructed, you turn your attention to the formation of training units. The Black Hand proves invaluable in the endeavor drilling into them the fundamentals of combat all the while grooming them to be full fledge members of the Brotherhood one day.

With the addition of Subterranean APCs, the Singapore Training Battalion is capable of inserting forces behind enemy lines undetected. Their Black Hand instructors had been busy teaching them the finer aspects of subterranean ambush.

[X] Signs of battle
It was almost night time when your EVA interrupts you in the midst of your sermon with some of the new recruits in the training battalion. Gesturing for one of the priests to take over you quickly excuse yourself to the side of the shrine to review the information.

[PRIORITY ONE TRANSMISSION]
[ENEMY ENCAMPMENT LOCATED]
[AWAITING FURTHER ORDERS]

"Brother Vios" you quickly orders "meet me in the command post. We have our targets."

[Bandit Encampment located]
Turn Action

Brother Adams and his scouts have identified the bandit encampment. Based on his intelligence the bandits appear to be armed with a mixture of salvaged Nod and GDI infantry equipment and improvised fighting vehicles. Adams recommends that they be put down before they can grow even further and begin posing a threat to your holdings.

(You can deploy all 3 of them if you chose to. Formations not selected will remain in base as defence or on standby.)

I do not want to send both of our heavy hitters into an all out rush. That's when the enemy commander counters with a tank rush. That, and we need to provide combat experience to the green militants. Having the elites there will prevent things from going to badly.

Slightly overkill, but we're making our image here
Stealth tanks for ambush, then the militants to get them blooded and no longer Green

The stealth tanks should dispatch the technicals with ease.

Unless we go by game hp mechanics, the stealth tanks ought to pack sufficient punch against anything the bandits have, up to salvaged GDI tanks even. Improvised vehicles and infantry don't stand a chance.

And they are stealth tanks, so we can set up ambush anywhere we like and lure the bandits into committing against our militants.

We should give the Militants those Tick Tanks the next time we get a chance to upgrade. That way each of our forces has a different vehicle.

Looking over the forces you have at your disposal, you decide to leave the Black Hand behind on standby and defense. The 87th and your militant force should be more than enough in crushing a few bandits and more importantly reinforce the message that this is Nod's territory now. With that in mind you summon their respective commanders and begin briefing them on their upcoming mission...

Slipping in under the cover of darkness, the flight of carryalls silently dislodge their cargo onto the barren plains of what was formerly known as Malaysia. With an ominous flicker, the stealth tanks engage their cloaking fields slipping out of sight of both electronic sensors and the naked eye. Behind them comes man and woman that forms the bulk of the force deployed for the mission.

Before the mission you had briefed them on their respective role in the upcoming battle. The stealth tanks of the 87th will take point, darting into the midst of the bandit encampment to engage them from within while the militants strike during the confusion.

And so the stealth tanks slip into their ranks, their cloaking field hiding even the sound of their passage from the guards.

[Stealth Tank Infiltration Successful!]

The only sign of warning the bandits receive was when the stealth tanks deactivate their cloaking field. Barely a second later the rocket pods mounted on them unleash their high explosive payload on the unsuspecting bandits. Designed to tear through even GDI armor, the flimsy construction of their vehicles and structures offer no resistance to the anti armor rockets.

Before the bandits could react, the screams of Nod Militants fill the air along with the bullets and rockets carried by the screaming soldiers as they make their presence known.

In the face of such firepower, the bandits broke and ran. Many find themselves cut to shreds as they attempt to flee into the night under the guns of your soldier. The night sky light up briefly as one of your stealth tanks found their fuel and ammo dump and proceed to put multiple rocket shots into it, turning the entire structure into a blazing inferno.

While his brothers work themselves into a frenzy eradicating the bandits, Sergeant Adams and his scouts have a much different mission. Fresh tracks leading away from the camp, found shortly before the assault begin spotted by one of his scouts. Since then he has been busy tracking down his mysterious target through the night.

"Based on the size and width of these tracks, it's definitely something big. Easily a tank." Adams mutters to himself. "In fact it almost looks as if it's a ..."

"Sergeant?" one of the scouts ask prompted by his sudden silence.

"Get the commander on the horn, if I am right, this is not over yet."

As you watch from the real-time uplink of your command post, you note with grim satisfaction the message this will send to the other bandits and warlords that may think about moving against the settlement under your protection. And with barely any loses sustained aside from the unlucky few hit by bandit weapon fire as well, truly a successful operation.

"Priority one message from sergeant Adams." Your EVA unit chime into your ear.

"Patch him through"

"Commander," the hush voice of your scout sergeant sounding distorted through the comm link. "My men has discovered fresh tracks leading away from the camp most likely made before the assault begin."

"A patrol perhaps?" You offer "I can direct some units to your location to track them down."

"That's not it commander, these tracks are deep. In fact it almost looks like it's made by a MCV."

Well then, this just got a little complicated.

Turn Action
The assault on the bandit encampment have gone better than expected with your forces easily overwhelming the opposition yet it seems some of them have slipped past your net. Brother Adams and his scouts are tracking what appears to be a MCV fleeing the battle. Given that the tracks were made before the battle begin, the slow moving MCV would posses a significant lead on any pursuit force.

[] Order your stealth tanks to begin pursue immediately.

[] Order your militants to pursue at once.

[] Ignore it. It's too far gone.
