(REBOOT) Master of Legions, Summoner's Servant.

Ok, so the speedster only was harmed due to a lucky trip. Attack the battlefield, then.

And the trumpet guy's multiplication only works if all of him are aiming the trumpet in the same direction.

So no Omni-directional blasts of music, at least.

Him we could beat with anything quick, like an angel flight, if we didn't have to worry about tipping our hand too soon.

We should probably focus on protecting Weiss for now, since she is our summoner, and her defeat might mean our ejection from the field of battle.

Battlefield control isn't really our strong suit at the moment, if we don't have any ranged or AoE attacks. Better to have Weiss or Yang handle that. Also, these strategies rely on our OOC meta-knowledge, which we don't have IC at this point in time.

I totally agree with protecting Weiss, but we can't really tank as effectively if we just camp next to her. Again, we don't have any ranged attacks or area shielding that I know of, so our best option is to get up in their faces.

@ShieldCrown Do we have any ranged or AoE attacks or defenses?
Umm... link to use of potato basket?
Please clarify your question. If you're asking if you can link to my brain fart... sure? Go ahead. Alternatively, if you are asking for a link to an example of the honorable tradition of basket combat, please refer to A Dragon Gnawing Its Tail.

One of the possible ways these things could fight, in Michael's mind, along with DoT, Tank, etc.

And we DO have an AoE! We have a sword!

All we have to do is smash the floor with our giant-slaying strength repeatedly. Trippable cracks everywhere!

And we'll find out she's a speedster in like 5 seconds. As long as we stay in the air until then, we're good.

According to the picture on our character sheet, we have two blades made of light.

Are they enhanced metal (or some ore), or are they like Lightsabers?

-[X] Work with Weiss and Yang, looks might be deceiving.
--[X] Don't summon any Units for now. As much as you might like to utterly trounce this travesty under the glorious might of your divine Legion - as you should - you are intimately familiar with the grander considerations of war. That is a rather large crowd, and there is no reason to tip your ridiculously overpowered hand as of yet. This? This is hardly even a kids' fight.
--[X] Use this opportunity to grow accustomed to your new body and Aura. Better to shake off the rust now than against someone who might actually come within a mile of the word 'threat'.
--[X] Use this opportunity to assess how Weiss and Yang fight. You're going to be working with them frequently, so you need to know how best to protect them, possibly from themselves if need be. Are they ranged, melee, tank, DPS, CC, potato basket, what?
--[X] Your main advantages right now lie in your strength, armor, and most importantly flight. Hound them from the air as much as possible, sticking close, circling around, and striking from poorly defensible angles.
---[X] Whenever you tire of this farce, simply drag them up into the sky and politely ask them to surrender. You can either let them go or let them go.

Woot woot! Scythe at will!

(A scythe is a weird, unwieldy weapon, but because of that, it is hard to block, even for experienced wielders!)

But solidified Light? So, lightsaber (plasma)?

So, inherently lethal. Best not to use it on these guys-except that the musician tanked a lava blast.

I'm not entirely sure this sentence makes sense, or rather its wording makes it unclear. Is it or is it not hard to block?

Fixed. Autocorrect.

As for what I am talking about,

War Scythes could definitely be practical, but they were more halberd-like. A scythe like a grim reaper scythe would not be practical unless it was constructed out of very expensive materials because the angle of the blade is almost perpendicular to the handle which would create a lot of force on the connection between them, causing breakage to be common.

However, our scythe would be made of pure light. That leaves the other issue:

Namely, that a thin blade with a wide swing, a long build up, long re-wind, and no particular means of protection in the meantime, because of the way in which a scythe is held, is also impractical for combat.

That's why the blades were generally reforged so they were straight when used for war.

However, a scythe can screw enemies hard simply due to its shape- it's unpredictable. You can block a sword, an axe, and any other polearm, but since the scythe's blade is mounted perpendicular to the shaft, it can easily reach around a shield or a sword parry to strike a person.

As such, while a confusing weapon, in a pinch, (made out of Light) this could be an awesome win (which demonstrates our power, but well within the limits of RWBY, unlike our Heavenly Host summoning abilities).

Okay, that's what I thought you meant. And I totally agree. If you're mindful of the blade, its possible to just use it as a staff as well.

Actually, depending on how fast we can manifest/change our weapons, it might make sense to primarily use a staff and just manifest any blades to make polearm variants (spear, axe, halberd, scythe, warhammer, etc.) as needed.

@ShieldCrown How durable are our weapons? Do we have to remain in physical contact with our manifested weapons, is there some sort of time limit, or is it just at our discretion? I was just thinking that if we need to bind someone up, hard-light chains might be very nice. That and throwing projectiles.

Your Lux weaponry (weapons made of Light) can last for however long you let them, though they degrade rapidly in sufficiently Unholy or Corrupted areas. You can also form Heavenly Arms, weapons forged by unique elements that can only be found in a True Heavenly Realm. You can also form Blessed Armaments, which are just mundane weapons with the "Holy" element added on.

RWBY vs FNKI: LET'S ROCK!
-[X] Work with Weiss and Yang, looks might be deceiving.

"I Shall Follow Your Lead Summoner." I tell Weiss while I manifest a Sword of Light in each of my hands while giving the Priestess a silent command to not interfere. The enemy team begun by antagonizing both of my comrades, "Flynt" by accusing Weiss of her family company driving his father's Dust shop out of business, while "Neon" criticized Yang' s...weight. Oh, I don't think that Faunus will have all her teeth by the end of this, if Yang' s angered expression and change in her Aura meant anything. "Oh, and you bring your thug out to give you an unfair advantage." Flynt was probably addressing you there, and honestly he could work on his insults. "I bet you're going get it to do all the work for you, aren't you." ....Did he just call you an It?! "What is it anyway, a chicken man?" Neon says while giving you a look over.

............

"....Alright, You're First." I say as my patience runs out just as the match start, and with a sonic boom I slam my fist into annoying Faunus' s gut with enough force to cause her Aura to drop by a full 50%. That was when some form of sonic attack hit me and caused my physical form to shimmer as my own Aura drop by a whole 1%.....note: I have a ridiculously strong Aura. I turn my attention to Flynt and find four of him? Huh, self multiplication, that could be dangerous and where did the Faunus go? I raise into air quickly and find her skating away from the fight with Yang on her tail, while Weiss moves in against Flynt. Yang can't get a hit on Neon as she moving faster than she can punch, and Flynt' s duplication is keeping Weiss from Attacking. Oh, it appears Neon' s weapons were enhanced by ice Dust and Yang might need some help. A second sonic boom explodes as I rocket towards the ground and cause the battle ground to shake as I strike it and make a small crater form at my impact zone. This caused Neon to trip while everyone else nearly lost their own balance. Still decidedly ticked about the "Chicken Man" comment I!

(SUMMONER IN DANGER!)

What in the burning Hells?! I turn attention towards Weiss and notice her too close to a geyser, a lava geyser, and Flynt about to blast her into it with his trumpet. I think quickly and form a hundreds Spears of Light to form above him. "Hey Flynt!" I yell at him. He turns towards me as he hears his name. "Look Up!" I say and he does so, paling at the sight of hundreds of spears made of Holy energy pointed towards him. I command the spears to fall and like a rain of death they descend. Only to disappear before hitting him, making him look around confused before his eyes widened behind his sunglasses as my armored clad fist met his face with enough force to send him rocket him into a stadium wall, causing him to be eliminated by a ring out...also possibly unconsciousness. I then look to see Yang striking Neon in a similar manner, but only causing her Aura to zero.

(VICTORY!)

Okay what is that?

After the match, and Flynt apologizing for calling me an it when he realized that I was an actual living being rather than just a mindless summon and Neon apologizing for the Chicken Man comment, I find myself once more in the strange place that was Weiss' s Soul. It seemed more...solid than last time, and I think I see some sort of palace off into the distance. I wonder what I'm going to do when suddenly I feel a tugging sensation, Weiss was calling me back into the martial world. Answering her summons I find myself once more in RWBY' s dorm room, with said team either sitting on their beds or standing, along with the priestess sitting on the floor petting Zwei.

"Yes Summoner?" I say as my body finished forming and you note that Weiss looks a bit miffed. "What was that out there?!" Weiss asked loudly and you figured that she meant your performance during the match. Something I was curious about myself, I normally didn't let insults get to me so easily so why did being called "it" and "chicken man" affect so greatly?

How do you explain your behavior to Weiss?
[] Write In.

Another issue that comes up is who is going to the 1v1 matches. The initial plan is Yang, but with some talking you could possibly convince them to change their mind. Do you, and if yes, who?
[] No.
[] Yes.
-[] Ruby
-[] Blake
-[] Weiss.

QM Note: God I hated writing this, it feels so off and bad.

ooc reason is that we can screw over CInder's plan with this. Weiss's response to an attack is gonna be dodging or putting up a barrier rather then countering.
