[X]You would bury it in the sands. The crown is only a symbol, it does not matter in itself. Kingship remains and changes hands regardless of who holds the crown. Bury it that other pretenders do not steal it and play at ruling, then let it be forgotten.

Give it to Aizen? We don't give a shit about him and Barragan hates the man.

Keep it? Our, 'ambition' is to survive, and Nemo's nowhere near arrogant enough to think she's powerful enough to hold onto it.

He's putting his other hand on the the back of the cleaver and holding it horizontally…
Poor Yhorm-guy...

You scream; it's been so long since you last did. It is a wordless shout, a cry of anger, of desperation, a challenge to the world. It says you will survive. It says also that the Butcher King could have lived, could have endured, and your anger that he chose not to.
This managed to describe not just us, but Us, the players. Darnit, he could have lived. And for nothing. He died for nothing.

We live below the Shonen powers, in the grinding realm of tragedy. No wonder we don't ever talk.

Initially, this is the most appealing. In regards to the second option, Nemo doesn't seem to care much about who rules. Barragan might. But then, that's likely more a pride as being the King than anything else. Who know what Aizen will do with the crown.

That fight was the best kind of mixture between shounen and dark souls.

That was a great scene, @Omicron

These Dark Souls vibes just keep on coming.

It's just a pretty hat.

This update made me feel really bad for Nemo and even the Butcher King a bit. I'm very glad that Barragan won now as well, because his philosophical musing and general arrogance and self-importance work incredibly well paired with Nemo, who just wants to survive and really could care less about such things beyond that she is forced to parrot the responses they expect if she wants to carry on. And in between we have the Butcher King, someone even weaker than Nemo, but caught up in the same kind of mindset as Barragan- and dying because this is Hueco Mundo and power means everything.

Very appropriate.

Also, can I ask if there is a general consensus on where our character build is going to go?

I was under the impression we were aiming for a stealth'n'cero build personally.

We dodge, and shoot lasers. We make up for being fragile by possessing a health bar that we can sacrifice to heal ourselves when injured.

Think a Dark Souls character.

Progression will probably involve better lasers, better dodging, and higher HP and MP Reiatsu.

I know that we can't eat hollows anymore to become stronger, but I wonder if we could eat something like a piece of a mask to restore some of our Reiatsu.

Nemo is showing a generally low self-esteem. I recommend more lifting, to show off these muscles and- Oh wait, the character is a woman. Nevermind that. :V

Nemo is too afflicted by indifference and the need to survive to care about who rules.

Training Grounds Pt. 1
Training Grounds Pt. 2
Hmmm. Amusing, but this... Doesn't quite cut it, sorry. I'll give you 50xp total for the effort, but it remains non-canon.

Nope, sorry!

Arrancars don't get any benefits from consuming other Hollows/Arrancars by default. Some characters have unique abilities to that effect, like Aaroniero, but you don't.
Think a Dark Souls character.
More like Hollow Knight :V

Also I've been saving this but I guess you should call us Jamie Lannister cause we slayed the ■■■■ out of that king.

In case your wondering what I meant by saving it I have a stack of such jokes and insults ready for this quest at a moments notice because I am here for the long haul.
