You are no mortal, bound by hunger or the need for sleep.
Arrancars don't have the same all-consuming hunger as regular hollows, but they still require food, don't they? It's only weak creatures that can live off the air alone. Spiritually strong creatures require food, and it's even stated that hunger pains are how souls in the Soul Society usually learn that they are spiritually strong.

A canon omake even references the presence of mundane hunger.
You have not eaten in some time, and you can feel the faint stirrings of hunger in your gut, but you decline to share that with the spider; and besides, it is not a hunger that can compel you, now.

While that is true, and Nemo does need to it, I have Arrancar food cycles as more extended than human ones, both because it seems fitting for creatures of great power and because this isn't a D&D Quest and I don't want you to have to pack rations and count your meals while out in the desert. Nemo gets hungry, but much more slowly than a human being.

Something seems fishy about this situation. Why was barragan's Fraccion unable to find any trace of the crown when they were looking for it but we after looking around for a bit find the crowns location easily? Are his men just really lazy or what
Previous sightings of the crown were occasions where it changed hands by trade or violence, or was spotted on someone moving around. It so happens that this time, its owner made a highly visible display of owning it, and then stuck around relatively close.

You could say it was luck.

I wonder how the current owner got their hands (claws?) On it, my guess is the last owner gave it to them and then got as far away as possible for when barragan sends someone for his crown. Also what do hollows have to trade with?

- Be patient take your time to watch for patterns and if they react to something don't move, movement is what draws the eye.

I'm curious why hollows keep wanting this crown they must know of or heard stories of barragan and wearing his crown seems like a way to be aged to death or whatever his Fraccion can do to you. So why do they want to wear his crown it's like if a human walks up to a grissly bear (that can age you to death) and punches it in the face and they expect nothing bad to happen.

Hollows, by and large, have no written traditions, and an oral tradition that consists mostly of screeching at each other in an effort to display who is more impressive (assuming it does not dissolve into ceros and assorted claws and fangs immediately). The crown is pretty much just a cool and shiny piece of headgear to most of them.

It's the crown of the Hollow King, of course Hollows are going to rally around it. Barragan ruled for, quite possibly, centuries, so everybody knows about him and his awesome hat. Then he up and disappears. You know what people think when they hear that? Somebody killed him, and left the hat.

They aren't expecting him to keep wanting it, because they haven't even considered the possibility of double-ghosts.

@Omicron, what is the significance of the name of an arrancar's zanpakuto? For soul reapers, the name is significant because it's the way by which they bring forth their zanpakuto spirit's power, but as far as I'm aware arrancar zanpakutos don't have zanpakuto spirits. (This was never said in canon, but a lot of people subscribe to that theory.) If an arrancar's zanpakuto just holds the arrancar's own power, rather than a spirit's power, why does it have its own name?

Because even if it's just holding their power it's still holding part of the wielders soul and by holding a soul the sword is no longer a normal blade it's more. Remember all the release commands for the arrancar are them calling on the power of their previous forms. So the names are important cause they symbolize what each person cast away or was before becoming a arrancar.

But why do they have a different name? Grimmjow was called Grimmjow before and after arrancarisation, so if his sword holds what he cast away when he became an arrancar, why does it have its own unique name?

I assume that each sword has an unique name because each hollow is uniue and so is what each arrancar cast away. To put in another way, cutting your arms and legs neither changes your name not change the fact they are called arms and legsand still have all the marks acrued during your life.

In most cases they seem to be similar to either what form they had as as a menos or related to their personality/the resurreccion powers.
Grimmjow used to be a large cat so his sword name is pantera (panther), Lillynette and Sttark might have been a fuck ass huge wolf in the past and their biggest desire was for companionship so they get Los lobos and Barragan was a prideful and arrogant ass ao arrogante is quite fitting.
Just don't ask me wtf Grantz sword is Fornicarás. Most likely because the whole birth a new me power Garntz has, that or he is quite wild at parties.

[X]Attack immediately. This number of Hollows are no match for you, and if you dispatch them quickly you can break into the rock before any defenders can muster up a response.

His hollow hole was on his penis and his number was on his scrotum. This is canon.

Ok it makes more sense now and I guess he filrted a little in his fight too. Still why was that neccesary Kubo? Maybe Aizen asked him where do you want the tattoo and Szyel said hey I want to complete my look...sigh.

I forget but has grimcat gone on his assault yet or has that not happened? If it hasn't happened yet we could get in on the trip maybe scope out what the mains are doing and possibly get our name out there for them to fear.

His Hollow form is based on some sort of parasitic vine? Parasites in general are even more focused on reproduction than other types of lifeforms because they don't have to worry about other aspects of just living...

But mostly because Kubo wanted him to be as creepy as all hell.

I personally do not want to be anywhere near that battlefield.
Hey, remember Di Roy Rinker? Remember this dude:

We don't know who this guy's Resurreccion is, canonically. You know why we don't? Because this guy showed up in Karakura Town, talked shit, and then died to a single attack from Rukia without ever even getting to release his zanpakutou.

This guy is your hierarchical superior.
I do not want to be anywhere near a battlefield where our superior in power and hierarchy gets one-shotted by a Lieutenant's Shikai. I'd also like to remind you that Grimjaw lost an arm in punishment for the attack and demoted from the ranks of the Espada, and he was an actually important person. We're just a Numero - an obsolete Numero - so our punishment will probably be worse.

I was thinking we could try our hand at sneaking around and avoid detection try to gather info on what exactly we are up against and we can always go shadow monster to avoid any swords that come at us.

We'd still be less than a lieutenant on a battlefield with captain-class fighters and due to suffer punishment from Aizen upon returning.

Also, I doubt Shadow form's ability to save us from getting locked into place via Bakudo, at which point our little moth is as good as dead.

To be fair, it's actually probably pretty safe, as long as we aren't there to start anything. I doubt that they'd attack somebody shopping for furniture, even if they looked sinister.
