Alright, I'm all for holding out until Mister Tactical Nuke gets here, and we can leverage some justification for using our Tactics skill.

Also, what reason exactly do we have in hiding our Shikai? I've realized that I have no clue what we stood to lose, do we want to hide the astonishing amount of power we've gained so quickly?

If Rukia can stun both for even a split second we could probably kill it. Breaking the mask is lethal at their levels after all, and we could probably do that pretty easily. Gets exponentially easier as soon as there's only one to deal with.

[x] Hit and Run. Keep their attention with hit and run tactics, only going for a decisive strike once you have an opening from Rukia.

[x] No, keep your sword sealed.

Your bond with your sword is newly established and fragile. Summoning forth and maintaining her true form tires you quickly, and overuse of her abilities will result in exhaustion if not careful.

Probably because it's one of those things where if we unleash it, we better be winning shortly thereafter else we're going to be very sad (and tired) campers.

Anything below Menos can eat a shakkaho or ten.
It would confuse Rukia in middle of combat so no.

We have the exact same zanpakuto as Kaien Shiba, someone Rukia feels guilt over, so she is probably going to BSoD if we pull Shikai.

So I've not read bleach in... awhile.... and I never got far into it. But IIRC Rukia won't regain her full powers if cannon stays true.

[X] Yes, release Nejibana.

Too easy to get blindsided by one hollow if going for the other. Karin simply isn't a front-line heavyweight. Especially because I suspect that a Nejibana release is going to make Rukia freeze and BSOD for a few seconds to minutes.

Also, to be honest, the reason I want to shikai is to get this out of the way. The stakes will likely only increase from here on out. Better to do it vs. 2 generic hollows as opposed to something stronger. There's no real guarantee that an opportunity to do this out of combat will occur.

Something about Soul Society being more liable to notice us when we use it.

-[x] Use your control over the water Nejibana produces to hinder the Hollow's manoeuvrability by tripping, intercepting and hammering them while Rukia binds them in place long enough for you to exploit the opening.
-[x] Your faster and even without the Wavedancer more manoeuvrable then Rukia. Keep the Hollow away from Rukia so she can effectively support you by creating openings.

Have you ever been at the beach when the swell is up and the waves are strong? Try fighting in that when someone has tied your arms behind you back while the other person is able to surf around on top of the water and is trying to stab you in the face.

[X] Yes, release Nejibana.

I know that there maybe a OOC reason for not revealing Nejibana to Rukia, but IC this is the biggest fight Karin will have fought so there is no reason to hold back, especially when she knows there is back up on the way. In her other fights she has been cautiously aggressive, wanting the kill, but not bull headedly rushing in. Rather she has studied her surroundings and relied heavily on her own manoeuvrability and speed to provide an opening to attack and has taken the time to study her opponent. I'd like to continue this tactical approach to fighting with her as opposed to her brothers style.

If my time playing Dark Souls has taught me anything, it's that encounters with multiple strong enemies are a godawful mess. Trying to do hit and run here won't work forever, before we manage to down one of them, we will have suffered multiple wounds. Instead, I say we focus on a single target and attempt to deliver a mortal blow with all our focus and power.

We may take one or two strikes from the other hollow, but in return we will have removed one of our opponents.

Then we'll be able to use hit and run tactics to defeat our remaining foe.

[X] All-out Assault. The best defense is a good offense, right? Go all out and try and take down one of the Hollows immediately, leaving the numbers in your favour.
-[X] Write-in Tactics: Run towards the two hollows at a full sprint, but do not use Hoho until the opportune moment. As you run, have Rukia use hado to create a blinding light or some other effect to obscure the hollows vision. The moment before the spell is cast, close your eyes. Then as the hollows are blinded, reopen them and use Hoho to jet forwards towards the closest hollow. As you reappear, release your blade and use it's greater power to punch through the hollows mask and slay it in one blow. Then reseal your blade and retreat, utilizing hit and run tactics alongside Rukias spells to slay the second hollow.
