You do not believe in ghosts. This is somewhat difficult to justify, considering that Ghost is one of the most famous Pokémon types, including one of the Pokémon that accompanies you on this journey. And a voice in your head. Nonetheless, you persist in conjuring scientific explanations for various phenomena considered ghostly. How have you come to such a strange belief? And why does it matter so much to you, more than you will admit to anyone, even yourself?

No, but seriously, the idea that ghost pokemons are actual ghosts, emerging from dead humans rather than just weird but natural animals ties into a lot of philosophical contradictions behind both Team Plasma and regular society of this world while being spooky scary esoteric shit. Why wouldn't you want to explore it?

There is some real anime logic to both of these Thoughts. H must remember her origin, both as a trainer, and how came to this new stage in life.
