Btw I need suggestions for minion names for the generic minions (ones who don't have a specified job in the tower and just follow the Overlord around). I will allow each person to submit one and a color for them. Currently we only have browns and reds but depending on dice rolls and what people choose we could find the others quickly

[X] Plan: Defensive Measures
[X] Sword
Probably the best best we can make so far, hopefully we don't accidentally start a life long grudge with a clan of dwarfs over this, this could end badly if so. I don't want to be hit by a master rune of death thank you very much.

How else are we going to get the good beer though?
Via trade deals really, the dawi might be surrely and stubborn but they keep to their oaths and have a eye for detail. Just hashing something out would work for us well.

And in general I don't fancy our minions performing well considering how damn stupid 99% of them are unless under the command of a overlord.

Also for minion names: Hash the red minion as ny current name proposal.

It's pretty rare for minions not to be under the control of an Overlord or substitute figure only one game had them on their own (the DS game) and they still sorta got remotely commanded by the Overlord I think. But yeah if we want to be nice we could try trading them wood from Drakwald and other materials later. I know one event in the timeline coming up in a few years gives plenty of opportunities to help the dwarves or kick them when they're down

Personally I am all for finding a solid unclaimed piece of land for ourselves and just slotting ourselves in to fill in a niche. I think we should be around the drakwald forest if I got it right, and we are around the time of the empire forming if I got the voting for the time period correct.

You are in the Drakwald forest. You're actually around 2000 years before the Empire forms so the Overlord could end up replacing them if they manage to make a lasting kingdom/empire

In that case, I'd say we should make good in the time we have and do some small campaigns against the beastmen, they are unrepentant bloody bastards that ruin whatever they touch and will automatically hate us on principle just because we aren't beastmen and live in better conditions then mud and shit.

But we can probably make nice with the eonir if we help clean drakwald and laurelorn up bit as well as maybe claiming the moot as a protectorate of sorts or even a vassal.

Don't forget the greenskins who will fight you for the fun of it. Also seeing as mankind (in this area) would be very primitive you could take over most of the region of what would become the Empire with only the elves as a major competitor in terms of colonizing the land

Eh that would be spreading ourselves too thin, for now we should probably get to getting a handle on the situation and sorting our shit out first.

But now I wonder if we can experiment with minion creation and maybe see if we can get around to making new types of the buggers or dominating some stuff with our magic, overlord 2 had shown that dominate can be pretty handy, and dominating a drakwald manticore or two down the line could be handy.

Well I was planning on not limiting the Overlord on how many minions they can command (within reason) so they could field armies equal to those in total war or the lore of this setting (not certain which is more accurate outside of meme armies) I do plan on introducing a lot of the spells from the series especially the domination one from Overlord 2 and I'm looking forward to people attempting to get a mount Evil or otherwise. Also because if I limited the Overlord to the fifty or sixty minions they can get with all the upgrades and gear they'd still be massively outnumbered and part of the limit seems to be based on game mechanics even if the minions are pretty dumb on their own

Nice, also hopefully not too much of a ask but would a personal character sheet and what not for our dear overlord be possible? Would be handy to see what the Overlord in particular has in terms of traits and gear.

I think we will need to find a way to make minions who focus on commanding.
I concrete actually, making a dedicated minions colour that's meant to work as a lord variant, borrowing the term from the total war series could help a ton and free us for more pressing tasks.

You're right I should threadmark the winning plan. Also I forgot to make a choice between starting weapons I'm gonna go back and add that right now

Sounds good, personally I will lean towards more experimental stuff, like cooking more minion types/species up or forming alliances with who we can, no reason we can't make a functioning power bloc for ourselves if we are smart and reasonable on that.

Also, skaven delenda est, kill all the rat bastards we can get our hands on. We would be doing the world a net good.

I imagine if we die, Gnarl will be looking for another Overlord OR it will be end of the quest?

Honestly, if we go with former, his traits should be more random and not choosen like we did with our current Overlord, given he will start a foundation of Overlord Throne in this new/old world!

Personally I'd like to stick to the vanilla minion types but I have had ideas for new types mainly ones with wings for fighting flying enemies and electric minions to deal with foes in heavy armor. Partially inspired by electrical barriers and hazards being added in Overlord Dark legends

Well I did make this a dynasty character quest so yeah a new Overlord will be found it could even be the child of the last one if the Overlord gets a mistress. Assuming you guys don't die before the end times starts up and destroys the world
