The Architect of Anarchy: A Cyberpunk Crafting Quest

[X]Stay with Thompson: He seemed to have his shit together… and that… you had questions for him.

Let's see what we can do with this guy. He might be useful later....

Speaking of the adventure and 2077s mission know this:

Our precense is about to change some things.

Both for good and I'll for our team of lovable rouges on a quest to save a damsel in distress.

I'm not familiar with the lore. Who all is supposed to come on this mission?
Well alt and Johnny are the main charecters who have tons to do, and are the most thematically important.

Thompson rouge and Santiago are the other charecters who play the game and have their own…

Plotline.

But at the moment we are going to be sticking to the broad strokes of 2077 and the table top adventure.

uh if i remember correctly i think it was Johnny the media we just met, and a couple solo's join in who i cant remember
i do remember that Johnny fucks up by accident because he acts to hastily
It's Johnny, the media guy, Rogue (a badass solo who eventually becomes queen of the afterlife, also Johnny's ex), Santiago (a nomad who founds Panam's clan if I remembered right)

In both Johnny makes a show in front of Arasaka that turns into a riot as a distraction so they can enter the building and rescue Alt.
Alt meanwhile is being forced to recreate Soulkiller and after completing it they test it on her, but she starts going ham on Arasaka's internal systems, even robbing saburo's accounts.
In the adventure an explosion Johnny's team makes disconnects Alt from the mainframe, trapping her in Arasaka's systems, unable to go back into her body.
In CDPR's version Johnny disconnects her before she can go back into her body, to similar results.

Honestly just having a character who is slightly tech-literate would be enough to save Alt in CDPR's version...

But not in the table top.

That requires its own set of hoops and working with alt herself.

That… may actually happen.

However things shake out, we should do everything we can to destroy any info they have on Soulkiller. Letting those guys have a way to turn people into AI sounds like a terrible idea.

You aren't a net runner. Your just a walking craftsmen table with a dream of being better then John Moses browning.

And succeeding in some ways.

So going in to destroy soul killer might be pushing your luck…

But…

You can help with Alts humanity problem as a synthetic intelligence.

And witnessing the horrors beyond the black wall.

Horrors beyond comprehension to our meat brain.

I love the supernatural side of Cyberpunk 2077. It's nowhere near the level of Metro 2033, but it has its places. Does more than rabids and rogue AIs exist beyond the blackwall? Who knows. Can a demon be summoned beyond the veil into a host in meat space? Yes. How much of your humanity are you willing to sacrifice/risk to glimpse the great beyond?

[X]Go with Johnny: He dosen't trust you, but something told you that things were about to get mighty interesting.

We just might become the catalyst for the next corporate war.
Ah Shit. Hopefully it will be the last corporate war (revolution) and not the last corporate war (all the nukes in the world are used). Very likely not the last corpo war though.

All I'm going to say is… yes. The answer is yes and it can only get worse.

Like I said at least there might be one time where we have a chance to make night city free.

And by free I mean a real beacon of hope in a shitty world.

wait @Magoose shouldnt you roll if Rache Bartmoss notices the shitstorm and decides to kick Arasaka while they are down ?
There is something that many people who read my quests know.

The rumor mill:

Shit is about to get crazy my friend.

So I have decided I will do an after math to the adventure in addition to the rumor mill.

Because whatever happens mom is going to be mad as hell at the total incompatence at play
