The Iron Oath (An Oath/Contract Based Cultivation Quest).

Door 1: It would take some time, but I'm pretty sure Aurora can buy some relaxation if she needs it.
Door 2: Treasure isn't what you go to school for.
Door 3: Not clear what it is but could be useful.
Door 4: Not clear if this is only techniques she knows or could teach a new one. Could be worthwhile as it saves time.
Door 5: This is a requirement for advancement in the sect. Saves time.
Door 6: Doesn't seem that useful. Aurora should be able to learn these from the sect or her family.
Door 7: A mystery box. But one with a mystery cost. I don't see any value in giving up a part of yourself.
Door 8: The second most valuable option here.
Door 9: Surviving is good.

[x] Plan the knowledge I can't get anywhere else

[x] Plan: A Piece of Education

-[x] The third door- A vision of a peaceful meadow (gain: piece of the meadow ???).
-[x] The fourth door- A vision of mystery (gain: greatly increase mastery of a random technique).
-[x] The ninth door- A vision of the exit (result: complete the test).

I had an idea for an oath combo, but it would be difficult to convince our retainers to go for it. Especially because we probably CAN'T tell them about our plan for the second oath.

1) an oath of servitude. Basically from now on they'll never be able to disobey explicit orders from Aurelia. A possible power from it could be a big boost whenever pursuing one of Aurelia's goals/directives.

2) an oath of... Not sure what word to use. Basically Aurelia gives up the ability to compel those followers who swore loyalty to her to do things.

In other words she gives up the power her retainers give her, hopefully for something even more valuable.

Problem is, we absolutely CAN'T tell them about Aurelia's oath before, because it would make their sacrifice subjectively meaningless and cheaper

This wont give them much, not because its not a powerful sacrifice (if aurora swore what oath she'll gain a lot of out of it) but rather that for your retainers this is already the case.

Legally, they cannot disobey your orders, so the oath would only shift a soft line into a hard one when ch would rob it of most of its potential.

It could be an oath for FUTURE retainers then...
