Hey we have a wonderful track record with helping our students achieve their goals and find their place in the world.

The fact those goals tend to align with world domination and leading a force of evil is just a random coincidence that could happen with any teacher.

1000+ years of tutoring people who don't go on a wild hair but noooo everyone remembers the... Four? Five? Who did

The bats could be a good first step to turning our island into a second castle Drakenhof since we all know what will happen to the first one depending on whether the events of Divided Loyalties will be canon. I don't know if the elves are capable of necromancy outside of maybe Cothique but I think we find a way around that.

My read on general roles. Not the limits, just where things stand out, at a glance.

The Tide of Skjold
-Salvage, Inland Raiding.

The Lamprey
-Coastal Raiding

The Salt Lord
- High Seas Piracy

Princess Aelsabrim Fallenstar
-High Society connections

Harbourmaster Tenebrel Reefwalker
- Underworld connections

Curious question: Do either Princess or Harbourmaster will provide access to Asur "workers" in later stages of corruption?

Random idea, if we take Fallenstar then we can strike a deal where we'd pay for the corpses of any animal that expires in captivity. At a notable discount, but it does allow us to staff some skeletal exhibits and get a good number of undead animals.

I do like the idea of getting the princess onside, building ties to tiranoc through her, and getting excavation rights on those sunken cities- send the Skjold's lads over to run diving missions.
Tiranoc gets most of their stuff back, we get an exhibit or two, the Tide of Skjold gets to fight whatever gribblie is living in there.
Everyone wins!

I am reminded that in Gotrek and Felix there was a sunken city that contained a harp that could cause earthquakes (ended up destroying a Black Ark). Something like that would be perfect to put on display.

It's more like 3000 years, though it is at least 6 people who went a bit off the rails, though some weren't super notable...

And, of course, there is the whole thing with Neferata. That probably shades people's examination of his generally excellent record. People are so short-sighted and unreasonable.

Uncle Ptah: "She was doing her best with what she had in a society trying to push her down."
