It Belongs to a Museum

I wasn't going to vote, as I like all the options and would be happy regardless of who won. Then I checked the Vote Tally and couldn't resist making it a tie.

Edit. And a vote came in just before me, so it's no longer tied.

How very rude of you. Though knowing of your limited stature, I suppose I can't fault you for shortsightedness.

The only thing short here is your lifespan beardling, You talk a lot, for someone withing artilery range. /jk

Really, though I will follow boneys writing anywhere, I'm more interested in sartosa trying to do bare minimum of state building to get barak varr to stop glaring at them.

"we're normal and can be trusted to be an order faction plllsssssss pls pls pls just look at all this history we got"

But noooooo everyone wants to be a vampire

Okay, granted, a National Museum of Sartosa does sound hilarious and like a good vehicle for the kind of themes I'd be keen on exploring! Updating vote:

[X] Sartosa

Sith Rionnasc, 2458
Affinity: Age, History, Religion
Bonus affinity: Elven history and influence in the Old World

Vampire Coast, 2522
Affinity: Trophy, Magic, History
Bonus affinity: Vampiric and necromantic diaspora

Looking at the affinities of the leading options is quite interesting, because there's not much overlap between them. The elves want to learn about the past of the Old World because that is relevant to their diplomatic ambitions, and the vampire pirates want to show off their victories and the legacy of necromancy.

This will of course shape what we actually seek out and add to the collection, which in turn will shape what aspects of the Warhammer world we explore.

I just noticed the time difference too, very different periods

The problem with the vampire option is it means we will never get any interesting (non-homicidal) guests. A vampire curator will only ever get to brag and show off for zombies. An Elf curator can have all sorts of people visiting. Merchants coming to see a coin collection from across the Old World. Mercenaries gawking at the first Empire shot tower. Wizards seething at Empire relics they aren't allowed to steal back. Suspiciously pale individuals gloating at a shelf of genuine vampire skulls.

A vampire curator might be an interesting character. But they would be a very isolated one.
