After a reread, I think that there will be other Sanctuaries for us to visit, so SoK is out. The plan I'm using allows us to maximize power and SP spent in the last stage, while also having a complete library for our intrepid protagonist to gather and constantly restore Mana from. Very good when we're starting stuck behind a library shelf.

Aside from that, I believe that since we're behind a shelf, we may or may not be able to passively learn spells with a combination of [Decrypt+Analyze]. It's no Magic Absorption, but it'll do.

I agree, I think that is very neat.

Infinite Layers - Level 1
  • • Description: This ability makes your pages defy the laws of physical space, allowing you to hold more knowledge and writing.
I think this one goes incredibly well with it too, as we take more and more from that around us, it makes sense that we would need an unlimited amount of space to hold it all!

I also really like this one, which feels the book/story telling feel. Being that we can bring people to other worlds essentially.
Illusions - Level 1 - *Warning: Skill Granted without Prior [ERROR] - Description: The ability to create realistic and dynamic illusions that can affect the senses of others.

Edit - Sorry, I did miss that the third page existed, so I see people are coming up with plans using these ideas largely already. Yay!

I like it as well, but unfortunately it was not offered to us. It's strongly implied that that is the Beta test skill of another character.

I tried to make a plan that would allow us to operate on our own. "Seeing" via Sentient Awareness, communicating via Read and Write, doing stuff with Paper Control and Orikami minions.

I had just written out my own plan, and then saw that Reading is Fundamental was skill for skill everything I wrote, so I'm fully behind this of course. I know this is more selfish to us skills, but why not? :p

We can use Sanctuary of knowledge to heal and regenerate our own mana, right?
Is Binding Renewal a narrative description of healing for a book? (I.e. if we healed via Sanctuary, would it also do those kinds of minor repairs)

Excellent questions! I will answer what I can.

This is probably the toughest one to answer. Analyze does not give you the same ability that Reading does. Analyze is more 'hey, what this do?', while Reading is more 'hey, what this say?'. Reading is a sensory skill.

Correct! As implied, SoK provides a space in which Stats are naturally regenerated. Now, this might vary by Sanctuary...

Yes, Binding is for Health, Narrative is for Stamina, and Knowledge is for Mana.

I would put it this way, while it wouldn't hurt, there maybe other Skills that might be better suited.

Only a 2 and a half hours left! Wielder Focused is catching up with Reading is Fundamental! Will Reading hold the lead? Will Wielder pass it by? WILL THERE BE ANOTHER TIE?!
 
Honestly I'm a little worried about not being able to heal, if we go with Plan: Reading is Fundamental. Health is one of our two weakest stats. It might be good to go for a plan that includes Sanctuary of Knowledge so that we don't have to spend 3 skill slots just on regeneration. In addition SoK allows us to grant this benefit to other people which has a lot of potential.

However people seem to like the skills that are in Plan: Reading is Fundamental a lot, so I'm not sure what to do.

It is a fair concern, I would say, and I can see it why it would be rough to remedy. As you said, the people who already voted and seem to like it. But also, the question of what would you change?
Would you change one of the fundamental skills to get in Binding Renewal?
Would you change the Beta to SoK?
Probably the most obvious two choices, besides seeing if you couldn't get people to change their mind before voting is over.

Keep in mind this is my ramblings.

Regardless, I look forward to seeing the results. As well as what, if anything, you do.
