"Not my Buzz!" Andy slid back in shock. "She might crunch it in her hands or... something."

"But it's, like, the coolest toy ever." Blair pouted. "It's not every day you get to play with a real-life alien."

You couldn't help but chuckle, "How about something a bit more... interactive?" You suggested, eyeing the dusty board games stacked on the shelf. "Why don't we start with something simple, like Monopoly?"

"And risk a game that gets less fair the farther it goes?" Blair eyerolled. "Maybe a video game, you know, since we're here."

Diva stepped forward and said. "Randomizer Access." And the digital world skimmed through the ROMs in the system looking for something suitable. The room around them began to shimmer and change, pixels popping in and out of existence. The floor transformed into a grid of red, yellow, and blue bricks, the walls into a backdrop of rolling green hills and blue skies. Above, the digital sun rose, casting its rays through the pixels. The air was filled with the iconic tune of Super Mario 64, and enemies manifested from across the archives.

"Race ya!" Blair began running towards the television, her eyes lighting up as the iconic red, blue, and yellow Bob-ombs popping up everywhere, their fuses flickering menacingly. The digital sun from the game cast a warm glow across the room, making the real-world objects appear like a part of the game.

Andy, however, took a step back, his mind racing. "Maybe we should start with something less... explosive?" He suggested, eyeing the chaotic scene warily. But before anyone could object, a loud, guttural roar echoed through the room. Footsteps grew closer, and urged Andy to run off, turning into <Write In Alien> to flee the creature as Zelari stands her ground in the face of the newcomer.

A hulking green beast man with bright orange hair that stood up from an electric force roared into existence, charging towards the trio. It was none other than Blanka, the electric beast from Street Fighter II. His eyes glowed with a fierce intensity as he spotted them, his teeth bared in a challenge.

Zelari's eyes narrowed as she recognized the creature from her world. She stepped in front of Blair and Andy, her body crackling with a sudden burst of energy. The digital world of the archive shimmered around them as she drew on her inner strength. The beast paused, sensing the power emanating from the young girl.

With a grace that belied her size, Zelari leaped into the air, her fist cocked back. The digital world around them paused for a split second as she unleashed a blast of energy. The Blanka creature skidded to a halt, his electricity absorbing the blow. He snarled, his eyes flashing as he readied his own attack.

You and Blair watched in amazement as Zelari landed on her feet, unscathed. She was a force to be reckoned with, even in a digital game world. "What the...?" Blair stuttered, eyes wide with shock.

Andy, still in his <Write In Alien> form, transformed back to himself. "Remember, we're here to train and have fun, not blow the house down," he reminded, trying to keep the situation under control despite the thrill of the sudden battle. "Let's find a game that's more cooperative, okay?"

"Or you can take me on patrol with you guys." Zelari offered.

You nodded back. "Just be in bed by ten!"

Reward: Zelari joins your patrol party
-[X][Andy+Blair] Patrol for further signs of Tantrums and other crimes/Players.

(D100=5)

The three ventured all through the Tri-County Area, not so much as a flicker. Zelari grew bored and was the first to fly home, the other two followed suit.

Critical Failure: -10 on patrol checks with Zelari

"But I like my hair!" Zelari yelped, covering the horizontal spikes sticking out.

"Don't worry, I promise we won't let them go too wild," Jen chuckled, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

Diva stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on Zelari's shoulder. "Come on, it'll be fun. And it's not like we're going to shave it all off. We just want a little bit for the potion, remember?"

Blair nodded, her own hair already tied up in a neat ponytail. "You know we've got your back. Besides, I've got some ideas for a new look that'll totally rock the house."

Zelari took a deep breath, glancing at Toriel for reassurance. The older woman gave her a warm smile, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's okay, dear. Sometimes a change can be refreshing. And if you hate it, I can always help you change it back."

With a resigned sigh, Zelari uncovered her hair. Dee stepped closer, a pair of gleaming scissors appearing in her hand. She took a single lock of hair, snipping it off with surprising gentleness. "There, that wasn't so bad, was it?"

The room grew quiet as the snippet of hair floated into the pitri dish. Diva sealed it with a flick of her wrist before putting it aside. Gine leaned in, her curiosity piqued. "What's the potion for?"

"To find wherever they come from." Jen's voice was low and serious as she spoke. She looked around the room, her gaze lingering on each of her colleagues. "We need to understand the essence of your hair to unravel the mysteries of your lineage. It's crucial for my research, and for the sake of our friendship, I'd like to be the one to help you."

Zelari nodded slowly, her eyes reflecting a mix of anxiety and curiosity. "Alright, I trust you."

The group gathered around the makeshift vanity, which was set up with various hair products, styling tools, and a mirror borrowed from one of the guest rooms. The atmosphere grew lighter as the chatter picked up, with everyone tossing in their opinions on what hairstyle would suit Zelari best.

When the dust settled, the spikes on the front stuck up higher, the back of her hair was combed back, and there was a little hairclip at the bottom most spike on her forehead.

"It looks good to me." Diva complimented.

"I can actually run my hair through it!" Zelari cheered. "This is amazing! Thank you!"

Jen, caught in a bear hug from Zelari, squirmed in her grasp. "Gyhh, tight! Little too tight!"

Reward: Healing Magic +2 (Activity Combo x2) (9/10)

Zelari has relinquished a lock of hers and has a spiffy new hairdo.

-[X][Andy+Seita+Teddy] Babysit Molly.
Molly looked to her brother and the two older strangers from her high-chair with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. "Come on, ya little Pop Tart. Open up, will ya?"

Andy, noticing the unease in Molly's eyes, stepped in quickly. "It's okay, Molly. Teddy's just trying to be friendly." He gave the sluth a playful nudge. "Isn't that right, Ted?"

Seita nodded, a gentle smile curving her lips. "He's had a long morning looking up the address. Give him a break."

Teddy, the detective, had a boyish charm to him that seemed to be trying too hard to win over Molly. His eyes, however, were sharp and focused. He took a step back, giving Molly some space. "I promise, I'm not going to bite, bucko."

Molly, still hesitant, watched as Seita took a seat at the table with her. "See?" Seita said, "Teddy's cool. He's here to help us keep an eye on you while Mom and the rest of the girls are handling something with Zelari."

Andy nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Molly. Think of it like we're all on a secret mission together. And when they get back, you can tell them how well-behaved you were for us."

Molly's eyes lit up at the mention of a secret mission. She cautiously reached out and took the offered spoonful of oatmeal. "Okay," she murmured, taking a tentative bite. Her expression shifted from suspicion to surprise and then to delight as the warm, sweet taste filled her mouth.

Teddy let out a sigh of relief and gave Seita a knowing look. "So, what's the plan for today?" he asked, pulling out a chair and sitting down.

Reward: Molly is comfortable with Teddy

Ding-Dong!

Elias Dumbo was not one for surprises, especially when it came to his job. The unexpected ring of the doorbell early on a Saturday morning was a disturbance he could've done without. He peered through the peephole, seeing two young faces peering back at him. One was a boy, probably about seven, with a mischievous grin. The other was a girl of the same age, with a look of determination that seemed out of place on such a youthful visage. They both held flyers that read "Neighborhood Lawn Mowing Service" with their names scribbled at the bottom - Blair and Andy.

He opened the door with a sigh. "What can I do for you two?"

Blair stepped forward, holding out a flyer with a hopeful smile. "Good morning, sir. We're offering lawn mowing services to help raise some funds for school supplies. Would you like us to mow your lawn?"

Sgt. Dumbo looked them over skeptically. "It's a bit early for school fundraising, isn't it?"

Andy's eyes lit up with innocence. "Well, we want to be prepared and help our friends out too!"

Elias studied the children for a moment before a sly smile grew on his face. "Alright, I'll bite. How much are you charging?"

"Five dollars per lawn," Blair said confidently. "We'll do a great job, promise!"

Sgt. Dumbo raised an eyebrow but nodded. "Alright, you can start with mine. But I'm watching you," he warned, the smile never leaving his face as he walked back into the house.

'You don't think they're Players, do you?' A voice rung in his head.

"The boy had that gadget on his wrist. An Omnitrix, if I am not mistaken." He mused to himself, watching them set to work with a suspicious gaze. "There's no way they aren't Players."

Bamph! He peeked out the window and saw...

(D100=44)

...A pile of metallic bones complaining about his stupid watch and Blair awkwardly hiding the pile in one the bushes. "Best course of action, we wait for a Tantrum."

None of the jobs listed interested her, so instead, she dialed Murumi's number again and on the other end, she heard: "Hullabaloo and Howdy Do!"

"Uhhh," Diva was dumbstruck, this was Murumi's voice. "Murumi, so long time, huh? So did you get my Demo?"

"Your what now?"

"My Demo!" Diva sniped back. "I sent it to IchigoPro so I can become an idol and make everyone happy with my singing."

"That old gag." Murumi complained. "You know what, I'm putting that bit to bed once and for all!"

Diva was then in that purple balcony. Murmur was on the phone, eyeing the towering figure closeby. "He's all yours, Qutie!"

"Quite." I said, before leaning into my assistant. "While appreciate the honesty in taking her there, merely letting the call reach Ichigo Productions would have been the easier call."

"Q-Q-Q..." Had she been as elaborate an android as one of the many players in my little game, Diva may very well have lubricated her undergarments. "Quest Master... Hey, I was just wondering..."

"For starters, Tantrums..." Diva started. "What are they and what do they have to do with the game?"

I calculated my answer to the best of my ability, "We all have our moments, points where our imagination pictures a random, spontaneous and often brutal death. And multiple individuals often imagine these moments, thus I use these moments as obstacles to ease the bleedin effects of the countless realms Emulated and indeed test the many players and the Emulators that empower them."

"Seems to be pretty darn easy to become an Player," Diva guessed, "is there any way to end the game without killing every player ever?"

I then continued back. "Some who you make a strong enough connection with can be wooed into joining your Hand, a family of Emulators united under a single candidate."

"And the prize?" Diva probed.

"You will be the absolute nexus of the reborn canon of all creation." I confirmed.

"Alright, sounds like a riot." Diva danced with excitement. "One last question... WHAT THE NUTS HAPPENED TO MY DEMO!"

Murmur held the phone to Diva's ears and she heard Saitou's voice. "Strawberry Productions. Whadiya want?"

"Hey, Saitou-sama. It's me, Diva." Diva flirted. "I take it you got my songs in?"

"Yeah, they're pretty good." Saitou complimented "We've been needing a replacement since my leading lady Ai Photon Torpedo'd her whole career, so whenever you're ready, we'll be waiting for ya over in Japan. See ya there."

Diva stood in silence, she's able to get the job, but she needs the money to pay for a flight. And she's only got twenty to thirty bucks in her pocket.

Jen's eyes fluttered open to the persistent beeping of her alarm clock. She groaned, throwing her arm out to silence the noise and feeling the coolness of the early morning air brush against her skin. Her room was bathed in the soft glow of the sun peeking through the curtains, hinting at the promise of a warm day ahead. Jen sat up, her legs swinging over the side of the bed, and she took a deep breath. "One skill down, one to go."

Making her way to the kitchen, she found the kids already dressed and ready to face the day. They were bickering over the last slice of cinnamon toast, a reminder of the whirlwind of a week it had been. "Alright, alright," Jen said with a tired chuckle, "I'll make more."

"Ahem." There you were, looking to your current mistress with a frying pan in hand.

"Oh, right." Jen sighed and began to picture the same flames Toriel made manifesting in her hands and sure enough, a sputter of flame with a face came into being. She held it out to the frying pan and watched as it grew to a size that could toast bread perfectly.

"Well, sounds like the same thing you do for healing works for warmth, too." Jen smiled back.

"Indeed." You nodded. "It is all about control and intention. Now, let us practice."

Blair sung a lullaby to Molly as Andy transmuted some basic armor and weapons for the group to use in whatever situation may arise. The crystals shone brightly in the early morning light, their facets reflecting the hopeful innocence of the two children.

Meanwhile, Jen and Diva retreated to the Archive to study the lock of Zelari's hair under a magnifying glass. "Are you sure about this, Diva?"

"Hey, he heard wearing protection and interpreted it as any kid would, given the circumstances." Diva retorted back. "So, where is our little angel from."

"A similar genetic match has been detected in upstate Texas." relayed the Archive database. "It's not exact, but it's the closest possible match in terms of the girl's DNA."

Another round of adventures with Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear was about to begin when the doorbell rang. Dressed in their makeshift armor made from crystal, the kids looked at each other, unsure of what to do.

"I'll get it!" Diva exclaimed, jumping up from her chair. She rushed to the door and swung it open to reveal a young boy with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "Hi, I'm Billy," he said, holding out a handful of comic books. "I heard you guys were into games. Want to trade?"

Elias Dumbo sat comfortably in his chair, sipping his wine with his guests as he spoke with them. "So you happen to have a history with the King of Spade?"

"He took my son." Sobbed a blonde woman in a black, blue, and red dress. "He took my son and used him to destroy my home."

"Be still..." Her husband did his best to calmed her. Diva watched from the shadows, her heart racing as she heard the conversation drift from the open window. The gravity of their situation grew heavier with each passing word. Her eyes darted around, searching for any signs of trouble or movement in the darkened street. The cool evening breeze whispered through the alleyways, carrying with it the faint scent of distant rain. Her messenger app vibrated in her mind, a message from Blair: "Found a way in. No signs of activity yet." She sent a quick text back, her consciousness stringing the words together: "Proceed with caution. Keep me posted."

Meanwhile, Blair had transformed into a sleek black spider, her eight eyes darting for a water spout that led to the ventilation shaft. She felt the cool metal beneath her legs, and the smell of dust and age filled her nose. She scaled the side of the building with ease, reaching the vent in no time. It was a tight fit, but she managed to squeeze through, the metal edges scraping against her exoskeleton, sending a slight echo through the shaft.

Andy, meanwhile, was hiding in the wires as Amphibian, his electric form blending with the circuitry that powered Dumbo's luxurious home. He had to be careful not to trip any alarms or alert the house's security systems. The buzz of the electricity was comforting, a constant reminder of his power and his purpose here. As he slithered through the wires, he could feel the vibrations of their conversation, the words carrying through the metal and plaster. He focused his senses, listening intently for any clue that could lead them closer to their goal.

The ventilation shaft was a labyrinth, twisting and turning in ways that would disorient anyone not born with the innate sense of direction that Blair had. She crawled through the darkness, the echo of her movements bouncing off the metal walls. The air grew warmer and more stale as she approached the main living area. She could feel the tension in the air, a cocktail of fear, anger, and desperation. Her eight eyes adjusted to the dim light that filtered through the vents, allowing her to make out the shapes of furniture and the silhouettes of people below.

"So, you had a kid, but needed to give it up in one of the neutral realities and went on to be a master inventor."

'But then he discovered him," Spoke the well-dressed guest "...used Geass to manipulate his mind into inventing the key instruments of his trap."

'And by downloading the boy's atomic structure. He was able to track your reality down.' Mused Mewtwo. 'And rot every lifeform away.'

"Tremaine didn't deserve this. My stepsisters didn't deserve this." The woman beside the guest cried. "No one deserved to die in this forsaken war."

Elias Dumbo, a man with the charm of a politician and the coldness of a snake, nodded solemnly. "Indeed, it's a tragic tale, but one that's all too common in our world. The struggle for power, the sacrifice of innocents—it's the price of the game we're all forced to play."

"You will find sanctuary in my reality." A familiar guest assured.

"No thank you, Doctor Martin." The woman declined. "Your futuristic realm is just too much for me at the moment..."

Blair's heart sank. They were getting closer to the truth, but they needed more information. She crept closer to the vent opening, the smell of their conversation becoming more pronounced. Her eight eyes peered through the slits, taking in the sight of Dumbo's guests—a motley crew of refugees from different realities, each with their own desperate story to tell.

"Frankly, that's nothing compared to what happened to Hill Valley." The man with the bulbous nose asserted. "Burning it down in the Old West, hell of a way to stop the Citizen Plus bullshit from turning em all into Cybermen but Jesus... poor Loraine..."

"Well, Cindy, since you crossed paths with her in ToonTown." Doctor Martin lamented. "Do you know where she is now?"

"Last I heard, she was on the run with Four of Spade." Cindy spoke in a shaky voice, her eyes misting over. "But with Judge Doom wearing the flesh of Doctor Brown... who knows if she's even alive."

Andy's grip on the wire tightened at the mention of Four of Spade. He had to keep his emotions in check, focusing on the task at hand. The room fell into a solemn silence, the only sound being the distant ticking of a clock and the crackle of the fireplace.

"But enough of that," Dumbo said, standing up from his chair. "We must look to the future. I've had word that one of the four horsemen of the notorious TNC set up a duel between two Emulators. Only one made it home."

Blair's legs quivered with anticipation. This was the break they needed. She quickly sent a mental message to Diva, "Possible TNC connection. Get ready."

Diva nodded to herself, her eyes never leaving the street. "Roger that." She responded, her mind racing with the implications of this new intel.

Andy felt the vibrations of Dumbo's words through the wires. His heart skipped a beat. Could it be one of their teammates that had encountered the TNC? Or perhaps it was someone they knew from the Game? He didn't have much time to think as the timer was running out. So he jumped out and hoped he could stick the landing when he detransformed.

(D100=11)

When he landed, he twisted his ankle. Pain shot through his body, but he gritted his teeth and pushed through it. The room was a blur as he readjusted to his human form, his heart hammering in his chest. He had to keep moving, to blend in. The last thing they needed was to blow their cover because of a clumsy landing. He crouched behind a large potted plant, the leaves brushing against his cheek. The coolness of the ceramic pot grounded him, reminding him that this was a real place, with real consequences.

"Ain't foolin' no one, kid." Dumbo left it to Mewtwo to pull him up by the boo-boo ankle. "Guess we now have the player of honor ready to rumble."

"I can explain!"

"I beg your pardon?" Dumbo glared at the boy that had stumbled into the otherwise calm scene. The room remained silent except for thel distant echo of athel bird's song and the ticking of the grandfather clock.

"I am the Four of Spade!" Andy declared, "I come in peace."

Dumbo raised a brow. "Do you now?"

Andy's heart raced as he tried to keep the conversation steady. "Yes, I just wanted to talk, make sure we could all coexist peacefully." He hoped his voice didn't give away his nerves. Behind him, Blair was hidden, but he could feel her tension growing with every passing second.

"What happened to Julia?" Cinderella asked, her voice tight with concern.

Andy took a deep breath. "Who's Julia?"

"Your player," Cinderella replied, her eyes narrowing.

"She's benched for the time being. This is Player Number Three, I believe." A man in a cardigan spoke. As he walked closer, his features came into view. "Hello, Andy. You turtle-y yet?"

It was the guy at the Turtle Club. "No, I'm not 'turtle-y,' I'm just here to make sure there's no trouble," Andy responded firmly.

'Quote the child who barged in unannounced.' Mewtwo leaned in, his eyes locked onto Andy. 'What makes you think we would cause trouble?'

"Uhhh..." Andy was stumped on what to say next. He hadn't planned for this. The room was filled with tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. The air was charged with the unspoken threat of a fight breaking out at any moment. He looked around, trying to gauge the intentions of the players and their allies. 'Did you come alone?'

Blair popped out of the vents and poofed back to normal with a winding punch that Dumbo evaded. Diva then proceeded to crash through with a flying knee to Mewtwo's gut, dropping Andy onto the floor. "Whadija do that for!?"

"Sorry, hard to stand still when the World's Strongest Pokémon manhandles my little bro." Diva quipped back at Andy as she picked him up off the floor. "But it seems we're all a little jumpy, huh?"

Mewtwo grunted, straightening up. 'Your concern is noted, but unnecessary. We're not here to cause trouble.'

"We just came to this universe to converse about a problem player that got other realities caught in the crossfire." Andrew added. "A fellow by the name of Sosuke Aizen. The King of Spade."

"He killed my son, destroyed Hill Valley, and used the skin of its greatest figure as a mask for an even crueler genocide that Player One prevented." Cinderella's voice was cold, her eyes filled with a rage that seemed to burn brighter than any fire. "Aizen is a monster, one you should know better than to trust."

"I dunno what an Aizen is..." Andy tilted his head. "But he sounds like a real jerk."

"So you agree with us." Dumbo's expression was unreadable as he studied the new arrivals. "But why should we trust you?"

"Because we know they can do good." Andrew Martin stood forward. "We're all here because we've suffered from rogue players. We just want to ensure that doesn't happen again."

"But this entails that we all get stronger and stick together." Dumbo's voice remained calm, but the muscles in his jaw tightened. "How can we trust that you won't betray us?"

"Because he's but a child." Martin reminded.

Dumbo stared at the boy, before sipping his wine. "We will talk tomorrow night for a house call."

  • [X] Plan: Diplomacy!
-[X] Andy: try and explain that you come in peace, you simply wanted to make sure that the Player who lives here wouldn't make trouble for your neighborhood, since you live here and all.
-[X] Andy: be ready to use Alchemy to escape, you don't know what Abilities Dumbo might have acquired from his Emulations, and you don't want to involve innocents (Cinderella) into a potential fight, so if necessary try and take a confrontation outside.
-[X] Blair: continue hidden but move towards Andy.
-[X] Blair: if things turn hostile, drop towards Mewtwo or Dumbo while transforming into a bigger form to force them to scatter.
-[X] Diva: call Jen and Toriel to be ready in case things turn ugly.
-[X] Jen and Toriel: leave Molly with Teddy and the others while they run to surround the house.

I mean Andy and co have pretty good reasons to be distrustful, first was the guy at pizza Planet and then the whole getting kidnapped for a death match.

Pretty good reasons for taking a very cautious approach at other players.

The children were playing Megaman 64 while you and your master were testing something unique with flame magic. She had been practicing for hours, her eyes narrowed in concentration as she chanted the incantations, her hands moving in complex patterns. The room was filled with the scent of burning oxygen and a faint warmth that was comforting despite the chilly evening outside.

Suddenly, a burst of flame shot out from her feet, lifting her off the ground. She hovered for a moment, a look of pure amazement on her face before the flames flickered out, and she dropped back to the floor. You both laughed, the sound echoing through the room, a welcome relief to the tension that had been building. "Goodness!" You exclaimed, a wide smile spreading across your face. "Where did you pick that up?"

Jen was dumbfounded. "I honestly don't know, it just came to me somehow..."

It was rare for Teddy to venture out of the console, but it was important to finally get Diva a paying job. He had heard rumors of a local gang hustling a hotel manager for its money. If they could put a stop to their shenanigans, maybe the people of this world would view her with a little more respect. Plus, it'd be a good chance for him to keep his fisticuffin sharp.

She hid by the corner of the Blue Moon Bed and Breakfast, her eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of trouble. The neon lights from the arcade across the street reflected off the wet pavement, painting the night in a vibrant array of colors. The air was thick with the smell of rain that hadn't quite arrived yet. "Ted, you're sure this is where the manager said they'd be?" Dee whispered into her earpiece, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword.

"Positive. Word on the street says they're expecting a shipment of something big tonight."

As if on cue, a group of skinhead thugs rounded the corner, their footsteps heavy and menacing. Dee's grip tightened on a bat she found, the leather creaking faintly. "Teddy, I've got visual. Four of them."

Teddy's voice was calm in her ear. "I've got you, Dee. Stay in the shadows. I'll handle this."

With a nod, Dee stepped back, watching as the thugs approached the hotel's entrance. They didn't seem to have noticed her, their eyes on the prize. As they passed by, she tapped one on the shoulder. He spun around, a snarl on his face, but it disappeared when he saw the bear standing in his way.

"You guys lost?" Dee asked, trying to sound casual despite her racing heart. The thug's eyes widened as he took in her size, but then narrowed. "You're not from around here," he sneered. "What's your business?"

One of the other thugs pulled out a knife, the metal glinting in the neon lights. "Let's just say we're the neighborhood watch," Teddy said, stepping into view. He cracked his knuckles in the face of the crooks before them. "And we don't like folks bothering our friends."

The thug with the knife took a step back, his hand shaking. "You guys work for the cops?"

"No," Dee said, her voice low and dangerous. "We work for something...bigger."

The leader of the thugs took in their surroundings, noticing the quietness of the usually bustling street. The arcade's music had stopped, the lights flickering. "Who are you?"

"Just a girl looking for a gig." Diva quipped back. "See, I have this goal of making people happy with my singing."

The leader's eyes narrowed. "And what makes you think you can stop us?"

Diva smirked. "Oh, you know. Just a little bit of this." A sweeping kick left the leader flat on his back, the wind knocked out of him. The other thugs looked at each other nervously, their eyes flicking to the sword at her side. Dee stepped forward, the bat in her hand a silent threat. "We don't wanna cause no trouble, fellas. I'm just here for the job, that's all."

"Piss off!" scowled one of the thugs, but the leader's wheezing was the only sound that followed. His eyes went wide as Diva bent down and picked him up by the collar of his jacket. "You don't mess with the King's business."

"Well, you don't mess with my neighborhood." Diva's grip tightened. "Now, where's this 'shipment'?"

"Like I'd tell your Britney Spears ass!" Another thug barked back, smoke beginning to float from his pinky toe as Dee's eyes darted to the foot starting to catch fire. "But I'll make it quick."

"Dude, your boot!" One of the thugs pointed down at his colleague's foot, his own panic rising as the fire spread up his leg.

"Make it stop!!" Cried the crook as his buddies cut and run only for another to trip and fall from his knees igniting from him also turning Infernal.

"A Tantrum!" Teddy and Diva yelped in unison. Dee had never seen someone spontaneously combust like that before, but she had heard enough horror stories to know what was happening. The thug's skin was now alight with an unnatural fire, his screams echoing through the night as his body mutated into a beastly form.

Without missing a beat, Diva tossed the leader aside and dashed towards the burning thug. "I got this!" She called over her shoulder, her eyes blazing with a fierce determination. Her fist began to glow with a radiant light, and she slammed it onto the Tantrum's forehead. The creature roared, but the light grew brighter, pushing back the flames until they were nothing more than a memory leaving nothing but ash. "One down."

Teddy pulled the hotel manager into the alley, his eyes never leaving the fiery battle happening just a few feet away. "You've gotta get inside, now!" He instructed, pushing the trembling man behind him.

Diva looked to find anything that might have blended into her reality from the Tantrum and her eyes spotted a hexagonal talisman with a pig carved on it. "What is this?" She held it up, examining it closely. Her eyes glanced to the other Infernal and fired a piercing energy right through it, extinguishing the Infernal on the spot.

The two surviving thugs scrambled away only to be met with a police car. The flashing lights painted the alleyway with a strobe effect. "Freeze!" A cop called out. "This is the TCPD!"

Diva and Teddy exchanged glances, their hearts racing. They couldn't risk being caught by the authorities, not now. Diva pocketed the strange talisman and ran into the building where the manager waited for them.

"What the hell was that?" The manager stuttered, his eyes wide with shock.

"Tantrums. Leaks into our world from others. God starts feeling afraid, and bam! You catch fire that bleeds random stuff from fiction." Diva explained quickly as the manager stared at them with a mix of terror and awe. She had to keep her cool; they couldn't let him think they were just a couple of kids playing superhero.

The manager, a portly man with a thick mustache, nodded in understanding, though his eyes remained glued to the ash pile outside. "What do you want from me?" He croaked.

"To make your customers happy with my singing." Diva answered with a copy of her demo in hand.

Reward: You are now on the radar of potential hires for the Blue Moon Bed and Breakfast.

-[X][Jen+Andy+Blair+Dee+Teddy] go for a night meeting with Dumbo, Toriel stays to watch over Molly.
The night grew darker, and the rain finally started to patter against the windows as the group prepared for their meeting with Dumbo. You agreed to stay behind with Molly, while your companions ventured out into the night. They knew the stakes were high, but they had come too far to back down now.

The house was eerily quiet except for the distant sounds of the city outside. You sat with Molly, her eyes wide with curiosity as she looked up at you. So you told her your little story. "A long time ago, a human fell into the RUINS.

Injured by its fall, the human called out for help.

ASRIEL, the king's son, heard the human's call.

He brought the human back to the castle.

Over time, ASRIEL and the human became like siblings.

The King and Queen treated the human child as their own.

The underground was full of hope.

Then... One day...

The human became very ill.

The sick human had only one request.

To see the flowers from their village.

But there was nothing we could do.

The next day.

The next day.

...

The human died.

ASRIEL, wracked with grief, absorbed the human's SOUL.

He transformed into a being with incredible power.

With the human SOUL, ASRIEL crossed through the barrier.

He carried the human's body into the sunset.

Back to the village of the humans.

ASRIEL reached the center of the village.

There, he found a bed of golden flowers.

He carried the human onto it.

Suddenly, screams rang out.

The villagers saw ASRIEL holding the human's body.

They thought that he had killed the child.

The humans attacked him with everything they had.

He was struck with blow after blow.

ASRIEL had the power to destroy them all.

But...

ASRIEL did not fight back.

Clutching the human...

ASRIEL smiled, and walked away.

Wounded, ASRIEL stumbled home.

He entered the castle and collapsed.

His dust spread across the garden.

The kingdom fell into despair.

The king and queen had lost two children in one night.

The humans had once again taken everything from us.

The king decided it was time to end our suffering.

Every human who falls down here must die.

With enough souls, we can shatter the barrier forever.

It's not long now.

King ASGORE will let us go.

King ASGORE will give us hope.

King ASGORE will save us all.

You should be smiling, too.

Aren't you excited?

Aren't you happy?

You're going to be free."

What will you be grilling Dumbo and company about

Jen drove the group to Dumbo's house and found the man talking with a fellow who drove a familiar truck. "Hey, Pete!"

The oily faced twentysomething glanced back at the bluenette behind him "Oh, it's you, Diva! How you doin?"

Diva chuckled with confidence. "Oh, you know, just busted up a racket of rabble at the Blue Moon Bed and Breakfast."

"The Blue Moon?" Pete's expression of surprise was genuine, but it quickly morphed into a sly smile. "I heard some strange things happened there earlier today. You wouldn't know anything about that, would ya?"

"Like I'd tell you, copper," Diva smirked, playing up the tough-girl act. "But we're not here for the gossip. We're here to see the man of the hour, Eli Dumbo."

Pete nodded, his eyes darting to the group behind her. "He's expecting you. Go on in, but don't start any trouble."

The door to Dumbo's house swung open, revealing a grand foyer that looked like a cross between a 1920s speakeasy and a high-security fortress. The air was thick with the scent of cigars and whiskey, and the sound of jazz music floated through the halls. They could see the shadows of people moving about, their whispers hinting at secrets and alliances.

"Ah, perfect timing." Greeted Dumbo. "I ordered all these Pizzas specifically because you were coming. Come on in."

The group followed Dumbo into a dimly lit room where a round table was set with a feast of pizzas, each slice topped with an assortment of meats, cheeses, and vegetables. The aroma was heavenly, making their stomachs growl. "Please, help yourselves," he said, gesturing to the table.

As they took their seats, the tension in the air was palpable. They could feel the weight of unspoken words and the anticipation of a deal to be made. Andrew Martin and his associate Rupert, Cinderella and her Prince Charming, and of course... "Mewtwo, would you be a dear and pour some cran-raspberry juice in the kids' drink."

Mewtwo nodded, floating gracefully to the fridge, and filled up their cups. The group took their places around the table, their eyes never leaving the mysterious figure at the head of the room. Sgt. Elias Dumbo had a presence that was both welcoming and intimidating, a stark contrast to the whimsical nature of his exterior.

"So, let's do a quick rundown of who's who in this damn game." Dumbo described. "There are 98 distinct Emulators under the watchful eye of the Quest Master, and at least one or more Players per Emulator. And they can be tested at any time by the Total Narrative Collapse, a group of four powerful gatekeepers at the QM's beck and call."

"Among who we know, you inherited the Four of Spade from its Player One." Prince Charming glared to Blair. "Then recruited Andy and his mother into your band as Players Three and Four."

"Then of course, there's little old me. Player One under the Nine of Hearts, who has been quite the brat the week and a half I knew that form of hers." Martin held up the Emulator's phone form and all that displayed was a timer that was ticking down. "Cinderella is Player One under the Queen of Daimonds and so far, the lone Emulator stationed in her reality."

'Eight of Club's lone player was ---, and Michael Rhodes was Nine of Shield's Player Two.' Mewtwo stated. 'Both died once their Emulators were destroyed.'

"And then we have Mister King of Spade himself, Sosuke Aizen." Dumbo laid his Dossier on the table. "His crimes go without saying, Hunted Cindy down in every reality she's been to, hid her genius son Lewis in one modern reality only for Aizen to Emulate a Geass User and gain such a Geass to mind control the son in a future timeline to invent two tools with which he can absorb his matter, erase this future, and even obliterate the very world she hid him in on his way to double down on his hunt for her."

"Some more evidence against him from Julia." Teddy interjected. "There's this guy, Doctor Emmet Brown, He went to visit his boy hood on his time machine, Aizen stole it, stranding him there and left it in the care of Loraine Banes and the love of her life, one George McFly. Together, they fetched Doc and went to correct certain events they left set wrong after returning to a Mafia-ruled Hill Valley. But certain events from their meddling introduced an Edna Strickland into the young Emmet's life. The end result was a dystopia of golf-carts, eugenics, and eventually... robotization."

He then laid out a robotic helmet with a severed human head inside. The whole group rightfully winced at the sight of it, Blair coughing up a bite of half chewed pizza as Diva did a Heinlich maneuver to get it out. "Citizen Plus, aka Cybermen: the final stage of conformity. Julia had to slice her head off to put poor Jennifer Parker to rest."

Rupert was in shock of how intentions can make a good idea go wrong. "Jesus."

"Edna was forced to robotize the man she built her tyranny for by Julia, George, and Loraine's efforts to get him to his senses." Teddy continued, "took his skin to keep his pretty face in his life, she was that demonic. So we went to Emmet to break Edna out of his life, she ended up stealing the DeLorean with Emmet clinging to the trunk, never a good idea when ya go 88. She burned down Hill Valley in the 1880s and the next thing we knew, Aizen was burning the aged and unhinged Edna in return with Doc's skin worn by a Toon he turned into cold computer graphics for a plan to Dip all Toonkind and the very concept of creation along with. I gave my life to save my brother from a falling piano, they'd have been blind if he used somethin' bigger."

"Ultimately, such a crime did not go unpunished, but since he used a pre-programmed toy to execute the plan, the QM couldn't tell who done it so once he found that Julia dipped herself and the CGI Genocide weapon to avert the crisis. He proceeded to recruit the Total Narrative Collapse, having thought the Four of Spade was lost forever." Andrew Martin concluded. "But somehow it survived through you, Miss... Blair, was it."

Blair's eyes began to water. "...Mommy."

"Wait, she was her-? Oh..." Rupert's voice trailed off as the gravity of the situation sank in.

"As you can tell, Aizen is as big a threat as you'd expect." Dumbo stood forward, his eyes sharp as he addressed the group. "But we're not here to mourn the past. We're here to plan for the future."

'These Tantrums are popping up all over this world among plenty of others across the active players in the game.' Mewtwo floated along, their eyes gleaming with determination. 'A group of volunteers banding together as a task force built to extinguish such beasts will be a fitting cover for finding other Players once we get the funding.'

"Make no mistake, If Aizen isn't stopped, he'll do worse than what happened in Hill Valley." Dumbo concluded. "He's a monster with a very particular taste in ruin."

Andy looked around the table, his thoughts racing. "Okay, so we all agree he's the big bad, but what's the play here?"

"For now, we build up our strength. Our intellect. Our wealth." Dumbo leaned in, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "We need to find the other Players, bring them to our side before Aizen can get to them. And we need to figure out how to protect ourselves and our universes from his schemes that don't involve-." Dumbo spots Andrew's phone shimmering. "Everyone stay calm, Doc Martin's getting a new one."

[X] A well-dressed man with a devilish goatee. (David Xanatos, Gargoyles)

A Manipulator to fight another!
He looked over himself as if he was going over inventory. "Let's see, organic again, good start. Male, adequate build, and above all, fully grown. Massive step up from the last three."

The phone grew hot in Rupert's hand, the display flickering erratically. Suddenly, it shined bright, causing Rupert to drop it down on the floor as if it might bite him. When the light subsided, A well-dressed man with a devilish goatee opened his eyes and looked at his arms. An expression on his face as if he was going over inventory. "Let's see, organic again, good start. Male, adequate build, and above all, fully grown. Massive step up from the last three."

Dumbo's gaze hardened. "Seems we've got a bit of an unexpected guest. Everyone stay calm. This is natural for a new emulation to do this. Case in point, mine was a bit of a... show-off before the form you see before you."

"Mine was a broken man, one who faced hardships in his boyhood, one who trained me, protected me and my prince. Then came the boy genius, beautiful mind, brilliant inventor, discovered the multi-player function in his final moments." Cinderella reminisced. "I used it to share the power with you know who."

"And you know what I read when our bodyguardand teacher re-manifested as a big bouncy panda." Prince Charming leaned in. "Player Three!"

"We were so happy to welcome Lewis into our lives." Cinderella smiled, "We even used my second turn to scrape two other children we believed would be great influences on him. Though we did need an IFI for Asriel."

"Image Fake-Ifyer." Charming added. "It was meant for Po but I already learned everything I could from him and he ran out of juice not long after. I still read them bedtime stories from the book he wrote for us."

"And then, there was The Doctor." Cinderella sighed, her expression growing solemn. "A kind soul, wise to the greater universe, even took to teaching the children as their baby brother grew and grew, waiting to be welcomed into the world."

"We were grateful to her for spending her final days delivering Lewis, I know my father was delighted but..." Charming glanced away with regret. "The next incarnation, the one with the magic key, demanded that Lewis be given up in a new reality."

"Eraqus was far more strict with the children, but they grew to love him in his own way." Cinderella's voice grew quiet. "But we knew that it wouldn't last. We knew that war was waiting, so I-"

Cinderella winced in pain, gray, leathery wings sprouting from her back. She had only time to cick off one slipper before her feet burst the other open. Her fingers became talons and a thick tail erupted from her spine. The group looked to her pained expression. "Ultimately, they feared her the most."

"Well, I guess I'm next." The newly emulated man stroked his goatee. "Andrew here won the lottery with his first Emulation, when I first emerged as a ten year old fairy god child by the name Turner. This meant he had twenty-seven wishes from my three fairies."

"Some were selfish, I wished to concieve a child, for starters." Andrew joked.

Jen eyed the good doctor Martin. "You're sterile?"

"Was sterile," he corrected. "Past tense. While Amanda was created through other means, the bun we've got in the oven's been anticipated in the months we've had Nines. And we've been mostly selfless with the wishes, Library of Alexandria restored, cold fusion, plants that grow adrenachrome, the works!"

"And the last of those wishes was to build schools all across Africa." The Emulator concluded, "After that, I was a free-spirited corporate symbol then a short tempered teenaged robot with a mouth that was more crass than a meme-filled machinima."

"Not to mention a bit of a handful." Andrew eyed back, evolving his new guest's frown into a scowl. "Portia told me to say it."

"Naturally, and now I've taken the form of an elite businessman by the name of David Xanatos." The Emulator stated, his hand on Jen's. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Charmed." Jen replied, not at all amused by the man's advances.

"And now that you are caught up for the most part, we welcome you to the Tri-County Fire Force." Dumbo greeted back, we hope to make your acquaintence again soon. Say, next week. Can't think of a better way for your rugrats to cap off the summer vacation, we'll even bring our cubs."

Diva smiled confidently back at the group. "It's a date!

Don't tell me the Summer's Over - Page 1 New
So Cinderella's a gargoyle and we got a temporary alliance, cool!

[X] Summer's nearing it's end!
-[X][Jen+Blair+Dee] Continue Training Fire Magic.
--[X] Blair and Diva help her practice her aim by throwing random junk for her to hit.

Jen had been chewing gum as a means to ease her stress more often than usual. The tension from the very thought of this Aizen was thick enough to cut with a knife. She had hoped that the training sessions with Diva and Blair would help distract her from the ticking clock, but it was always there, looming in the back of her mind.

So naturally, she decided to get bubble gum. It was a childish move, but the sticky, sugary mess helped her focus, somehow. She sat in the backyard, the sun beating down on her neck as she popped the gum in her mouth. Diva and Blair looked at her, then at each other, and shrugged. If chewing gum was what she needed to keep her sanity, so be it.

You know what, that gives her an idea.

She blew a bubble for each piece she had on hand, eight in total, and she offered Blair a challenge. "Break the targets."

The gum bubbles floated against the refined wall of heat that was the end of August. Diva and Blair looked at each other, a silent agreement passing between them. They knew that this was more than just a game; it was a way to keep Jen's mind sharp and her nerves steady. They nodded and took a step back, watching as Jen focused intently on the bubbles.

Blair picked up a rock, her eyes narrowing as she took aim. "Alright, on your mark, get set..." She threw the rock with surprising force, and it smacked into the first bubble. The pop was far more firey than anyone expected, in fact it was more of an explosion. Jen smiled. "Hey, it worked."

Diva took a swing with a baseball bat at the second bubble. The impact was tremendous, sending a shockwave that knocked over a nearby birdbath. The gum inside the bubble didn't just pop; it combusted into a small fireball that shot into the sky. "It's amazing what exhaling backdraft into an absence of Oxygen can do, isn't it."

Reward: +1 Fire Magic

Backdraft Bubblish Gum added to skillet.

Dumbo was sitting at his table, surrounded by piles of documents and screens showing various news reports and message boards. His eyes darted back and forth as he sipped from a steaming mug of coffee. "Ah, Ted. Welcome to the force." He said, not looking up from his work.

Teddy looked around the room, his eyes lingering on the screens. "What's the plan, boss?"

"Scan for Tantrums, mostly." Dumbo replied without looking up from his work. "But keep an eye out for anything that seems... off. Players usually leave a distinctive mark, even when they're trying to be subtle."

Teddy nodded, already feeling the weight of his new role. He pulled up a chair next to Blair, who was busy playing a flash game. "You know, we could use your detective skills to help us find the other Players."

Blair's eyes lit up, dropping the game immediately. "You think?"

"Yeah, we could start by looking for any unusual patterns in crime scenes, something that screams 'not of this world'." Dumbo suggested.

"I'm on the case!" Blair beemed and booted up a Paper Mario ROM.

"Not exactly what I had in mind." Teddy raised an eyebrow.

Reward: Teddy now has a job.

-[X][Andy (Graymatter or Juryrig)] create a holographic disguise for Toriel and future non hooman emulations/scrapes.
--[X] if that doesn't work, use Master of Disguise to create a disguise for her.
-[X][Andy (Upgrade)] upgrade the family computer!

Cinderella was nice enough to lend them the blueprint to the IFI she had built for her adoptive children. It was a bit... unorthodox, but it was a step in the right direction.

Gray Matter's smaller fingers flew across the wiring as he worked on the holographic disguise projection for you. It was a complex task, requiring a delicate balance of coding and alchemical knowledge. He paused for a moment, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. "Almost got it," he murmured to himself. The device in his hand hummed to life, casting a flickering image over the your furry form.

(D100=93)

When your eyes opened, you saw a demure, mature woman in the mirror of light standing before you. The holographic disguise had transformed your monstrous form into something more human, something that would blend into the streets of the city without scaring the townsfolk. "It's not perfect, but it'll do." Andy said, changing back to admire his handiwork.

You looked at yourself, a mix of relief and curiosity on her face. You looked relatively human again, which would make moving around and interacting with others so much easier. "Thanks, Andy," you said, your voice filled with gratitude. "This'll make everything smoother."

"No prob." Andy nodded, a proud smile on his lips as he packed the device away. "And speaking of making things smoother, I've got a little something for the computer too."

(D100=59)

He waited for the Omnitrix to recharge so he could go Upgrade. In the meantime, he turned to the ancient computer in the corner of the room. It was a relic from the early 90s, a hunk of plastic and metal that wheezed with the effort of running the most basic of programs. "We need to get this thing into the 21st century," he murmured, oozing into the computer, turning the machine into something sleeker, faster, and quieter.

The whirring and beeping stopped, replaced by a soft purr. The screen flickered to life, displaying a modern operating system that looked a decade ahead of the current year. "Well, that's one thing off the list," Andy said, pleased with the upgrade. "Now, for a little field test..."

-[X][Jen+Andy+Blair+Teddy+Toriel] Family trip to the Beach!

The Boardwalk Carnival was bustling with families and laughter, the smell of saltwater taffy and hot dogs filled the air. Jen looked at the group, the stress from their earlier conversation with Dumbo seemingly forgotten as she took in the sights. "Come on, let's hit the games," Jen suggested, pointing to the row of brightly colored booths. "Maybe we can win some prizes for the kids."

Andy, still feeling the excitement of his recent alchemical breakthroughs, spotted a game that caught his eye. A little girl was throwing darts at a board, trying to win a Lotso Huggin Bear, a toy that had been all the rage a few years back. She looked determined, but her throws were falling short, much to the delight of the carnival barker, who jeered at her with each failed attempt.

Walking over, he noticed the girl was no stranger to defeat, her eyes filled with the kind of hopeful desperation that comes from wanting something so badly you're willing to ignore the odds. He felt a twinge of pity and decided to give her a hand. "Need some help?" He called out, the wind carrying his words over the din of the carnival.

The girl, Daisy, turned to him with a look that was half surprise, half suspicion. She had long blond hair and wore a faded yellow dress that matched her eyes. "What do you want?" She asked, her voice tinged with skepticism.

"To help you, cause that's what heroes do." Andy smiled and activated his Omnitrix and dialed up:
