Trigger Warning: Expect the worst just incase
You have experienced a Unveiling, your eyes no longer obscured by the ancient spell that hid the secrets of the universe from humanity for so long
Create the local Wizards of a community, send them on surreal little adventures, expand their power and understanding of the secrets called Arcana
The Premise/Da Rules/The Mages New
In this quest you'll play as people starting off their careers as Mages, recently Unveiled, which means they can see all the mystical horrors and wonders hiding in the modern world, the ones the masses cannot perceive, the truths the universe hides, and potentially wield them for whatever goal you give them
Learn the secrets of Arcana and hopefully make it in the Mage community of the moderately sized town of Sunnyview

You each can only create a single Mage each, unless that Mage becomes unplayable in some horrible way, in which case you can create another
Control of these Mages is divided among you all but I will not tolerate you intentionally sabotaging the work of other questers for your own sick fun by simply controlling the Mage you wanna sabotage, do it the fun way, via a different Mage

The Mages are controlled via submitted Actions, which you can only submit once a turn "[] Mage Name/Alias: Intended Action", every vote of support from another Quester for that action gives it a + 5 if a roll is required for that, and if no roll is needed it just increases the value of the reward

Rolls are how I resolve situations where success is undetermined, I mainly use a D100, get 51 or above and you succeeded, or roll higher if you're against something, depending on the circumstances there will be modifiers
If the action goes against a Mage's Aspects or any other established traits, like making a pacifist commit a brutal murder, then the vote will probably get vetoed, veto also goes for tasks that are just impossible at that moment, like making a puppet into a real biy without any transformation Arcana
If people vote on completely contradictory Actions for the same Mage, such as one group wanting them to go left and the other wanting them to go right, I'll go for the one with the most votes, do a dice roll if tied
Turns will be mainly divided into Actions, where you submit the commands you've chosen for the Mages, and Results, where I write down how it goes
But there will also sometimes be votes where we just do it normally for big decisions or just moments I find interesting enough for full player input to be fun

If you're unclear on how this goes, never forget that you can just ask me about the rules, or like ask me about anything I forgot to mention

Now time to create your Mage, if you miss this section, don't worry, you can submit a Mage later, and remember you're playing "Normal" people (by that I mean folks who abided by the laws of physics beforehand and weren't Unveiled, you can make your character's past reasonably freaky, just no magic or sci-fi or something else completely unreasonable for a "Normal" person), beginners in the Unveiled world

Mages when they start are mainly comprised of up to 5 Aspects, major parts of their personal Identities, if it would help in a situation it will do so more then a usual modifier, but it will also be a major part of the character so going against it might not go well, or at least not go easy
A Mage with the Stamp Collector Aspect won't just be a simple hobbyist, it would have a TON of personal significance to them, basically the 5 biggest parts of the characters identity, personality traits, worldview, their best skills, are put into the Aspects
The rest of the miscellaneous stuff go into the Biography, like if they sometimes knit or go bowling on the weekends

Also their first Arcana (Magical secrets, not related to the Tarot but a Arcana can be themed after it if you wish) is mostly freeform, just keep it at the level of something like a Dnd cantrip, a little trick that was attracted to them after they were Unveiled, or maybe it was the thing that forced them to see the world for how it is, I'll add a list of example Minor Arcana if you need the help
Don't worry if the Arcana sucks in retrospect, you can potentially evolve your Arcana and or get far more, and sometimes they're more useful then they look, especially if you mix them together

Here is the sheet, you can only make a single Mage each, subject to rewrite or veto, don't vote until I post VOTE IS GO

- [X] Bio: Growing up Jeramy didn't really register how very off his family was. Yes he wasn't supposed to leave the compound but… that was normal… right? And no. It wasn't. There were a lot of conspiracy theories about doctors and the whole group was an extension of that, mixed with… weird religious trappings and some magic mushrooms. His mom was the "healer" of the community so he learned a lot of medicine and exactly how far you could stretch natural remedies and basic surgery and also how to deliver babies. When he was older he went to college, because the community needed someone to handle funds and he wanted to see the outside world. Bit of a culture shock, to say the least. He got two years in and decided… yeah he wasn't going back. Like, nothing against- no actually a lot against them to be honest but they were not his problem anymore. He got a job. Finished out four years of night classes. Got vaccinated (and wasn't that disconcerting). He bought a house, and filled it with plants because he did in fact like gardening. Also has a bunch of stuff to make natural remedies because it's a good skill. His therapist says he "reclaimed" it, and… ok. Not how he would have put it but Ok. He's making good money and is enjoying his hobbies, three states away from his family thankyouverymuch.
- [X] Minor Arcana: Figured out that if he fed plants his blood they do odd things. Like turning to follow him or growing berries when said plant really shouldn't. It's different for every species of plant, but the effects are always mildly supernatural.

Pretty interesting, so quick notes

- One of his Aspects is being a happy homeowner, so is he very passionate about how he takes care of the place he made for himself separate from his past? Or jusy really likes interior and exterior decoration?
- I'm probably gonna just make all the random unique effects from his Arcana attempts by the plants to be accomadating to him

Seems okay, not like you can directly control them, can't do a Skitter unless completely surrounded by bugs, and surplus stuff from spiders and other insects probably isn't exactly that much of a lifehack

I'll portray it in quest as the insects considering you like a local deity

Also don't forget

I know this is the mostly a framework still not complete have a few more things to add like the bio

- [X]bio:from a young age Alexander was considered… strange when he first went out of his parents yard he wasn't being active or playing instead he would often be seen laying in the grass watching different insects. Eventually he would come into contact with a wasp nest and were other kids ran away he would end up having fun watching the nest and even bring them food learning what they eat and don't eat through a process of elimination this habit expanded to ants and other insects making him learn gardening to feed butterflies and bees that flies through his parents yard. He often cried and threw tantrums whenever an exterminator is called or when his parents used pesticides to kill his friends and his obsession grew through his life. This of course caused him to be seen as a freak and limit his friend group a lot as a result making him struggle with social interactions. He eventually got a job as a bee keeper using his knowledge and skills to help the production of honey and moved lives in a small farm land from his parents . He dislikes killing any form of anthropod unless absolutely necessary and often is found feeding insects such as ant colonies

- [X] minor arcana: . Found out that all forms of arthropods are more friendly, unless directly harmed they will not attack him and will generally defend him if he is attacked and bring him any extra products such as honey from bees or stored insects from spiders and in his genera area insects will have a sort of peace treaty to not attack each other unless absolutely needed to prevent starvation and make them less aggressive to other humans

[X] Name: Issac Cross
-[X] Helpful: Issac feels a strong compulsion to help anyone in need of assistance and is very good at doing so.
-[X] Asshole: Issac feels a strong compulsion to be a sarcastic jerk at every possible opportunity and is very good at doing so.
-[X] Hardcore Parkour: Issac sees both walking and driving as incredibly boring ways to get around and has instead perfected the art of running, jumping, and climbing his way from Point A to Point B as awesomely as possible.
-[X] 4th Wall Awareness: Issac's Unveiling showed him more than just the existence of magic. It also showed him that his existence was a work of fiction.
-[X] THE END IS NEAR!: Issac's Unveiling further showed him that his existence is a work of fiction created by someone who rarely stays focused on one idea for long. Issac has resolved to make the most of what little time he has as a result.
-[X] Biography: Issac has no past. He simultaneously came into existence and Unveiled at the onset of the game and will cease to be when it ends.
-[X] Minor Arcana: Issac is capable of weakening the barriers that separate the works of fiction created by Donald Darf, allowing random elements of Donald Darf's other quests to cross over into this one.
Okay the gag is starting to get stale
Also 2 of those Aspects break a rule in the Mage Section of the first post

Hell and why are you just limiting yourself to immediate "Can break the 4th wall, comments about Donald's tendency to give up on ideas, can call upon actual pieces of past quests"
Why not a ability that is a subtle reference to a past quest or my horrible habit? Like a small insectoid-god familiar that spits out slightly mutagenic tears
A bottle with a little galaxy full of microscopic aliens that you can customize inside
The ability to sense those who lack the will to follow through with their ambitions
The ability to make fictional characters aware of their impending demise that comes when the story ends

Hell, you could've even made a bootleg version of me who recently got Unveiled, make them do a bunch of magical projects, and then abandon those projects halfway through

I know you can do way better
Actually, I think I could go through some past quests I made to give you more material to work with

- [X] Drifter: Jack's always had a hard time when things fall into too much of a routine leading him to switch jobs often. That also means he knows a lot of people scattered throughout the city.
- [X] Drop out: He tried his best, he really did. It's just collage didn't work out for him.
- [X] Driver: He takes pride in his skills with vehicles. It might not look like much but he knows it's limits and how to reach them
- [X] Dreamer: He's always felt there is some plan or purpose for him and throws himself into every thing with will and focus, At least before he gets bored of it.
- [X] Discerning: Despite what a few people think of him Jack actually has good judgement, instincts and a sharp eye.
- [X] Biography: Originally going to collage in a nearby city Jack grew tired of the lectures and repletion and eventually dropped out, Following that and his attempt to start a band failing he moved into an apartment of Sunnyview to take advantage of the low rent and decent pay.
- [X] Minor Arcana: Passerine: The wind acts weirdly around him, for now it pushes him forward but there is potential here, he can feel it.
--[X] Tailwind: Jack moves slightly faster then most people as the wind always blows at his back.
--[X] Featherweight: Jack counts as 1/2 his weight when advantageous.
Gotta choose 1 starter Arcana, cause weight and wind aren't really connected, Tailwind and Passerine can be reasonably the same thing though

Fair enough, I was having Passerine be the overall name of the power set and Tailwind and Featherweight be ability/aspects of that overall power set. I'd like to keep featherweight but if it's disconnected too much could I buff Tailwind a bit.

How much time is left, because I'm trying to make a character at the moment.
I have an idea it's just taking some time to put stuff into words.
