It already gives us most of the benefits of the base option, our rep with them just allows us to get an extra panic button for free.

I am of the mind that this situation was unusual. We had enough workers for regular day-to-day clinic work. Maybe after we have more clients.

Datahost gets us more rep every track and we need that if we want more paying customers. As is, we struggled because Little Asia does not know us or trusted us. This can help us get the word out.

Not free, we have a chance of owing a favor if we hit the panic button, still worth it though.

I'm paranoid about security after rereading the quest and the reveal that the Inquisitors are prowling about and behind the bombing. Our clinic is an easy and soft target for them after we helped mitigate the damage of the bioweapon attack, and worse, we gave the victims their eyesight back using cybernetics which will piss them off even more.

We're going to be on the Inquisitor's hit list since we made a name for ourselves during the incident, and while they probably have bigger fish to fry at the moment, it's best we prepare for when they inevitably go down on their list of people to kill.

This doesn't directly help us make more money, but it does help us avoid losing money because of emergencies in the future. Be it hackers thinking it'd be funny to extort a small clinic for our clients' records and information, or people with more guns than brains thinking they can rob us easily.

Best to beef up security before theat happens - reinforce the doors, get better locks, buy a turret, make sure Candy's got some heat under the counter and the range time to be comfortable using it. Won't stop any serious psychos kicking your door in, but should deter all but the most dedicated boostergangs. Costs: 2 Funding. Unlocks: Improved Clinic Security.

We're not spending all our money. We just bring ourselves back to 4, which is leaking. That's at the upper bounds of what our GM recommended.

4 is absolutely a safe number to be at. Money unused is money wasted, and considering this is Night City, security measures are worth their weight in gold. They may not make us money directly, but we save so much by preventing trouble that would cost us money in the future.

I don't have thoughts on the actual makeup of the spending but getting enough money to make us Almost Rich properly, and then just like immediately turning around and spending it feels good as a Numb response haha.

As much as I love Widget and want her to have all the nice things (in b4 the garage gets covered floor to ceiling in stickers - or however high she can reach), right now we need more hands on deck.

i'd be open to hiring more staff once we can keep the staff safe. it would be a bummer if we hired staff now only for them to get hurt, or to lose them to something easily prevented by security.
