Alright these for this time. Wish I had more time to think about this vote, but there is so much junk in my head right now its not time that is the problem.

Vote ends in 2 days. just putting that out there. Also, I'll be working on the servant section, and adding Olga Marie to the Bonds section. which are basically the same thing.

-[X] Encyclopedia: Go in deeply in detail about it, she is the Director after all, so the more prepared for this she is the better. Even if you don't know that much about it yourself. (Optional Add On. it let's the Director and by extension Mash, Ophelia and Romani prepare for your strange bouts of sleeping/out of body experiences)
[X] Yeah, people of great legend summoned by masters, pretty self explanatory (Don't inquire more into Heroic Spirts, you feel like you know enough)

Looks like it's time to Fail forward. These are just skeletons so I won't be unreasonable and majorly screw yourselves over. But there will be short term consequences. What those will be...well I'll tell you when I tell you. it'll most likely be damage to one of your two health bars. but it could also be something else.

Announcement: Some delays.
Hello, so this update is going to take some time. Not because of any writers block (well there is some, I'm still trying to figure out a good short term consequence, or at least if it would be better to damage morale or Endurance.) But because College started a while back, and it's been keeping me busy.

I'll work on this when i can but updates are going to be slower than usual. assuming I have an "as usual" time to refer to it.

Singularity F: First Contact (Fast Forwarded.)
Visual Calculus (Hard: Success?): In your minds Eye you can see it, the battlefield the enemies and your three Servants, and An idea forms in your head. There's a nearby building that's on it's last legs, and with Charlemagne's swordplay, Scathatch's special spear, and Archers big fuck off gun, the plan to collapse the Building on top of the Skeletons.

Ritsuka: What's the consequence?

Visual Calculus: Noise. A whole lot of noise. Not ideal, but assuming that there are little enemies in the area, we can probably get everyone out of here

Inland Empire: Just remember, despite being earless they still respond to sound. So we'd best hope that whatever group we dispose here doesn't attract anyone with ears.

Vibes: You don't know if anyone with ears is around, to hear it from far away.

Ritsuka: Well the sooner we get to the bottom of this the better right?

With the plan in mind, you coordinate with Ophelia, and the Servants on the field to trap the skeletons into the nearby building and collapsing it with Archer's sheer firepower. The Plan went off...Well enough. at the very least they worked together well enough to trap the skeletons.

Fellowship (medium: Success): It's clear the Charlemagne is the only one here REALLY experienced with teamwork, Scathatch while not bad at it doesn't prioritize it either, while Archer seems more used to work around people than with them.

Ritsuka: What about Mash and Ophelia?

Fellowship: Mash is a greenhorn, too inexperienced to do more than swing her shield around on Instinct. Ophelia is more used to working with other masters. Sure she has some experience with the Shadows she summons, but never with anyone from outside her team.

Ritsuka: So we just need training.

Fellowship: That and time.

Archer: "Alright, Analysis done, check this out Master!"

Archer seems to be in a show off mood as he quickly brings the building down with concentrated bursts of gunfire.

Perception: Noise, some of the loudest you've ever heard starts to sound out as the building crashes down. No doubt alerting other bands of skeleton and attracting them to your location.

Director: "Alright, that was a surprisingly smart move. A shame we can't see if any of their bones are cursed enough to be useful. Regardless, we should probably head out."

Consequence: Ambushed

A little while after quickly leaving the area, Charlemagne would speak up.

Charles: "So, is it just me or is anyone else feeling weaker than they should be."

Archer: "I was wondering that myself, but I had planned to be a bit more...discrete about it."

Scathatch: "I don't mind it. If anything this new perspective could be kind of exciting."

Ophelia: "Oh. That's actually a quirk of Chaldea's summoning system. Theoretically we should be able to make you stronger than ever but in return You'll be..not as strong as normal once summoned."

Ritsuka: "W-Well at least everyone is on-"

Scathatch: "Hold on, someone is on that building."

Interrupting your speech, Scathatch would point to one of the few standing buildings.

Perception (Hard: Success): You see him, it takes a bit of squinting, but you can make out a figure shrouded in purple, his hand seems to be...covered up by his clothing. Also wreathed in purple shadows. So you have no idea what he's holding. or hiding.

Inland Empire (Medium: Success): I get a nasty sense from that. Don't like it at all.

Half Light (Medium: Failure): We can't say if he's friend or foe.

Vibes (medium: Failure): Other than the flames fanning the air, you don't sense a shift in the surroundings.

Ritsuka: "Is...Is he a Phantom Spirit? he's all purple like your knight was."

Ophelia: "Maybe..but there's also a chance he could be a Shadow Servant. Which would be worse for us."

Army of Shadows: We believe this means that Shadow Servants are the in-between version of Phantom and Heroic Spirits too strong to be a mere Phantom of what they could be, but too weak or they don't have enough Mana fueling them to be anything other than a shadow of what they are.

Director: "Well regardless of what it is, we can't just stand here and wait for it to make a move. We need to keep moving."

You are about to agree with Olga when-

Perception (Hard: Success): The sound of chains, clinking in a way that shouldn't be possible by simply hanging off of or falling off of a building.

Inland Empire (Medium: Success): As if they are being wielded by someone.

Half Light (Trivial: Success): Even YOU can recognize the danger you're in.

Your eyes widen in realization as you look around for a way out. The area the chains come from are out and-

Perception (Hard: Success): A hint of purple to the side. Say something!

Reaction Speed (Challenging: Failure): Uh Oh.

Ritsuka: "We've been-"

Reaction Speed: You can barely make out what happens as You see Archer throw himself at you while you spot Charlemagne fighting the guy in the alley next to you, Leaving mash protecting Ophelia and Marie Olga as Scathatch throws her spears at the rapidly approaching Shadow Servants.

Inland Empire: They must've heard the sound of the building collapse

Next thing you know, you've been placed with Mash as Archer arms himself to take care of the Shadow Servant with the chain, some feminine looking figure.

Director: "It's a Trap!?"

Ritsuka: "Apparently!"

Ophelia: "What do we do?!"

Empathy (Medium: Success): You can FEEL the determination, bloodlust, and insanity emanating off of these shadow Servants. If you fail to defend yourselves here, it won't be pretty.

Vibes (Medium: Success): Don't worry, not all Servants here are against you, and despite the Shadows ganging up on you, Mere Shadows can't be ALL that remains here.

Encyclopedia (medium: Success) the pamphlet did say that Summoning was only one way to come into contact with Servants.

Mash: "We may need to battle our way through here."

Ritsuka: "Or we can try Holding on for an assist, there should be at least one Servant called here to help right?"

Director: "Are you kidding? We can't hold out against Three shadow Servants the way we are now! We have to break Through!"

Ophelia: "I'll just go along with whatever You all decide on..."

In the end, You've got two options here. Which one will you pick.

Choose one:
[] Break Through (Begins a battle section, gives you the goal of overwhelming one or two Shadow Servants enough to escape.)
[] Hold the Line (Begins a battle section with the goal of holding out for a Heroic Spirit of stronger quality to come and help.)

[X] Break Through (Begins a battle section, gives you the goal of overwhelming one or two Shadow Servants enough to escape.)

We do need to work on our teamwork, and if memory serves there are more ambushes of the Chaldeans than not in the various singularities, so getting good at escaping them is useful, provided we can get a hang of it before Okeanus, when escaping Heracles will be critical.

[X] Break Through (Begins a battle section, gives you the goal of overwhelming one or two Shadow Servants enough to escape.)

[X] Break Through (Begins a battle section, gives you the goal of overwhelming one or two Shadow Servants enough to escape.)

I don't really have anything else to add to this. Our position isn't all too strong right now, even with our new servants. It isn't guaranteed that we'll do well in a protracted battle while waiting for help that may or may not come, so I suggest breaking through.

[X] Break Through (Begins a battle section, gives you the goal of overwhelming one or two Shadow Servants enough to escape.)

We seem to have a consensus already! Usually I'd leave this to sit for a day but i think that 3 hours is a reasonable timeframe for this.

Singularity F: Triple Threat. (battle rules
Goal: Break Through

Nodding your head, you decide to listen to the director and break through the ambush to rush to safety, but these guys look significantly more intelligent than the skeletons you've encountered and definitely can hit harder than them as well.

Ritsuka: "Alright, let's try breaking through!"

You can hear the insane shadow servant chuckle. Mainly out of disbelief that you could.

Ritsuka: Any advice?

Logic(Medium: Success): well the most foolproof way to overcome a person is with numbers. And while I may not be an expert in teamwork, currently the only advantage they seem to have is that they have you surrounded. The numbers game is still yours to win.

Authority (easy: success): as an added bonus, they don't seem to have a unified front going on, this is mostly a team up of opportunity. No Authority needed to keep anyone in line.

Ritsuka: Alright good to know. What about physically? what can they do?

Physical Instrument (medium: Failure): There's no way for you to tell. You'll just Have to eyeball it and hope you don't get it wrong.

Ritsuka: Crud.

So Welcome to your first real fight, While fights against mooks and mobs can be resolved via a dice roll Fights against Servants, Shadow Servants, or any enemy on those levels or above will necessitate this. Battles are broken up into a few things. First and foremost, Strength. Servant Strength determines the amount of Dice you roll. Strength can be gained and lost in a few ways. Naturally each Servant has an individual Strength stat but in battles Servants gain more strength from Class Advantage and Grouping up. Class Advantage gives a Plus 2 Strength Bonus to a Servant while Class Disadvantage takes away one or two Dice (We can't have Heroic Spirits dealing no damage from Class Disadvantage attacks). Strength can also be increased by having the Numbers advantage, for each servant you have outnumbering the enemy gain Plus one strength. This Bonus also works for the enemy but don't worry about that for now. The other way to gain Strength in Battles is by using Skills or Mystic Code Buffs. The Strength of the Enemy is also calculated and split up amongst them.

After we consider our Strength, then we take in our opponents, names and a General estimation of their class (Something that'll only be a thing until the better scanning equipment in Chaldea is fixed) and assume which class is strong against what.

Then After that is the Planning Phase. This basically just means you submit a plan as to which Servant does what. Just a reminder that the Shadow Servants have their own plans of their own. What each Servant does in the plan is simple.

For starters, At the start of each turn in combat you can assign a Defensive Servant. A Defensive Servant is here to keep the enemies you aren't attacking off of the Master/Squishy humans. This is however optional if you want to focus all of your servants Let's be honest you'll probably choose Mash for this as she is a Shielder, but as other Servants appear or unlock Defensive Skills and Effects (Charlemagne has one now) you may want to consider others for the role.

Then Determine who attacks who. needless to say the defending Servant can't attack anyone, and by throwing at least two Servants at one Enemy you gain 1 Strength.

Finally there are master Actions. Master Actions are basically Stuff Masters can do to shift the tide of battle in their favor. They are determined by the Mystic Code you have equipped, personal Skills, and Thoughts. Since you have Ophelia You can choose to double up on Mystic code Buffs, should you figure out how to Actively interface with it. Or Artifice in this case.

Looking at the Enemy Servants you take in their characteristics. Deciding to name them mentally. You are currently surrounded by a Chain Lady, Cloaked guy, and a polearm user maybe a Lancer. That's not a Lot to work with, but you have a nice verity of Servants willing to combat the trio. You just need to figure out who goes where.

Vote in plan format:
[] Defensive Servant

-[] Mash Kyrielight
-[] Archer
-[] Scathatch

[] Attack the cloaked Shadow Servant
-[] Mash Kyrielight
-[] Archer
-[] Scathatch
-[] Charlemagne
-[] Nobody

[] Master Actions (Choose two, one for Ophelia and one for Ritsuka)
-[] Use the Mystic Code
--[] Figure out how to use it (Medium Artifice check, Ritsuka only)
--[] Cast Instant Enhancement, Increases the strength of a Servant by one. (Ophelia Only)
--[] Cast First Aid to Heal an ally (Ophelia Only)
--[] Cast Emergency Evade to help someone avoid damage (Ophelia Only)
-[] Use the battlefield to your advantage (Visual Calculus check. Ritsuka Only)
-[] Ask The Director for help (Suggestion Check, a higher number means that Olga's reduces the DC threshold by that much. Doesn't consume an action but can only be used once per battle)
-[]Summon up a Phantom Spirit to help. (Ophelia summons up her knight to add an Extra Strength to a an attack. Ophelia Only.)
-[] Throw a Rock, hard. to throw an enemy off their game. (Hand Eye coordination hard check. Ritsuka only)
-[] Write in (Make it an Action that either leads to the tides of battle shifting. Or that just does that. Checks will be decided upon as I think they need.)

[X] Basic Formation
-[X] Defensive Servant
--[X] Mash Kyrielight
Let's put the Shielder on the defense.
-[X] Attack the Spear Wielding Shadow Servant
--[X] Scathatch
Scathatch lives and breathes for the spear, no debate here.
-[X] Attack the Female Shadow Servant
--[X] Charlemagne
Charlemagne is the most straight forward option here.
-[X] Attack the cloaked Shadow Servant
--[X] Archer
If you can't detect your opponent by normal means, predict them.
-[X] Master Actions
--[X] [Ritsuka] Use the battlefield to your advantage
--[X] [Ophelia] Use the Mystic Code
---[X] Cast Emergency Evade to help someone avoid damage
Let's give Gudao experience in spontaneous tactics and have Ophelia ready if one of the Shadows pulls something.

Do we actually need to fight all three servants? I thought the point was to break through? Use two servants to overwhelm only one of the surrounding servants while the other two defend the masters? Followed by making our escape? Current plan kind of misses this. Eating now so be a bit before I can scrape together a plan myself.

Yeah, while this is a very good all purpose battle plan, All purpose isn't what the goal is all about. Although only one Servant can go on the defensive, I would suggest taking advantage of the fact that multiple can attack an enemy. Also class advantage.
