Welcome everybody to my quest, we will be creating a chapter of space marines in the 26th Founding and going from there, you will play as a Chapter Master and manage your chapter in the 41st Milenium. Hope you are ready for the ride, and as always, Emperor protects!


Chapter Creation 1


"It is the 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries The Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the Master of Mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly die.

Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defence forces, the ever vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods."




It has been 10000 years since the Emperor launched his Great Crusade to once and for all unite humanity in this cruel galaxy. Only to watch as His achievement crumbled into dust under arch-traitors Horus and his vengeful wrath, as He watched, immobile on the Golden Throne. Of His vision remains but embers, nonetheless these embers and mankind at large must be safeguarded, no matter the perils.

Thus it was decreed by High Lords of Terra, after valiant loss of 7 chapters in span of last 50 years, for 26th founding of Adeptus Astertes to commence. 7 new chapters were to be drafted from among the Sol System and to restore the sacred 1000 chapters, as dictated by Codex Astartes. In the year 738.M41, the recruitment, arming and organization of the chapters are largely finished. On Terra, the home world of Mankind and glorious Trone World the Imperium, the great parade is held to signify His glory made manifest, for these new chapters will safeguard and bring Glory to Imperium and Him on Terra. Yours is once such chapter.

Note: If you choose a planet based chapter, the two choices are basically a cosmetic choice as opposed to Fleet Based, It will not influence overmuch, I don't want to make creation super detailed.

Note #2: The Primarch progenitor is partly cosmetics and partly to dictate your style of warfare in the 41st​ Millennium, it will not necessarily be all or nothing, for example you may select a void borne chapter focused on void combat and utilise breachers squads as Imperial Fists descendants (something they used quite a lot during Heresy) so it will not be just defensive warfare, the description to each choice are just a pointers, not set in stone, but it will be a starting point from which you chapter will evolve.)

Note #3: I did not include Vulcan because I am not sure if they had successors before ultima founding (even if that would make sense) and no Traitor Primarchs (the ones we don't talk about in the imperium at large but all chapters know) to choose from because I don't want to do those, simple as. Even though there are chapters raised from their gene-seed, either direct or chimeric.


So this is the creation, I plan to start simple and then go from there, this is my first quest, so I am still figuring things out, but I will try to keep things simple, as I don't want to get bogged down. After this you will be selecting the officers from existing chapters to lead the newly recruited Astertes, chapter name, some relics and such.
