Can we have a "Kick down the front door" option? Not quite a rampage but definitely making the point that they've crossed several lines and You Are Not Happy.

[X] Kick Down the Front Door: The Council apparently wanted your attention. They have it. And will be shown why this is considered A Bad Idea by wiser heads than theirs.

I feel Lady Hapsburg has not kept up with the times, given that modern entertainment has countless examples why letting Retired Monsters stay retired is good for your health.

"My youngest ward told me the most wonderful turn of phrase yesterday. A trope from fiction. 'Mugging the monster'. Seems ironically appropriate in this instance."

All I will say is that Lady Hapsburg is well warranted in still trying to kill those monsters because if they decide to switch sides or get out of their holes.

There would be trouble.

Speaking of 20 vampires getting merked in 5 days is a huge event that is sending the whole place into panic mode.

"It's in it's den, which it's layered as many defenses as possible learned over it's eons of life! It'll be completely defenceless!" This lady sounds like she had the Good Idea Fairy on speed dial.

Well she is only 300 years old. She's only in her position because she's great at politics and gaining power not common sense

She hasn't learned the lessons that other older vamps have learned the hard way. :V

Ahhh, so basically "They didn't know what they were doing but I'll get it right!" Coupled with the Hapsburg ego and the lace doily that was her family tree... Yeah she's probably not all that stable.

You say that but she's far more stable then other members of her family that were alive at that time.

At least the voices in her head are real from the countless tortures she endured from being turned into a Vampire by her sire.

So she wasn't crazy, like other members of her family

The problem is she thinks she's the last pure Hapsburg.

And that's going to be a problem.

So just want to tell you something funny.

Norton is picking up and adopting kids like he's running a supernatural orphanage...

Honestly, I'm all here for it. :V

[x]Walk in the Front Door: You were sure that the Council would be happy to see one of their own come back after a long absence.

[X]The Social Clubs: You are going to walk in, assert dominance, get oaths of fealty, loyalty, and all that crap, and then leave.

Honestly, as much fun as rampage could be, i kinda want the "intimidation, implied death treat routes" if only for world building

How does the council compare to Norton in terms of raw power?

...Y'know, picking up staff like a proper orphanage might have isn't a half-bad idea. I'm curious what kind of supernaturals might show up.

Before or after they pull in the other people from across the globe.

Because North america's vampiric power levels right now is Norton... and everyone else.
Noted. I am concerned because eventually we will have to address the concerns of the larger world rather than just murdering everybody who wants to mess with us, but it's good to know that we probably have some time until anything that can hurt us can show up.

Or perhaps this is just Norton's new hobby in the current century. :V

All the more reason for them to just leave him be, since he did put up a sign: Do not disturb. Norton will just have to remind them, that the ability to read is a sound thing to have for your continued survival.

By the way, said "vampires" had been misbehaving.

They entered Norton's domain without announcing themselves like they owned the place, disrespected an Elder to his face, attacked his Haven, tried to harm his guests... such a litany would be enough to snuff out any fool.

Said guests are humans with magical powers? So what? They are Norton's guests. If you have a problem with that, you have a problem with your unlife as well.
