No, I read it before the removal of write-ins as a fully listed option with a box and everything. You could be right that the leaving of that line is entirely intentional, but my impression, based on there having been significantly more supporting such additions that was actively removed, is that particular line is legacy text and no longer correct.

The only one that he actively vetoed was your idea. The rest he only said that he really liked his own idea, not that nobody should bother. Just because he did not like your first idea, does not mean you cannot try again.

No, I'm sorry, I'm not being clear: The original post had a much larger section talking about write-in bloodlines, including a box (one of these [ ] with a write-in entry listed as an option). IF deleted the whole thing except for the one line you're referring to, which was separate. Combined with his statement that he really liked the listed bloodline, that's what gave me the impression that other bloodlines were no longer available. It's a different event entirely separate from the first veto.

Like, first he vetoed one bloodline, then separately he commented he really liked the existing one and deleted almost all the text referring to others in the initial post. My impression is that the line you're referring to was also meant to be deleted but got missed.

I mean, IF literally removed the [ ] write in option, you don't get a lot more explicit than that.

Yes, I did see that, but it is the very next line of instructions and he let people vote for their own ideas for sixteen hours now.

It just seems like quite the reach that he forgot to delete that part of the vote and then not say anything at all afterwards. Especially when he took the time to come back to threadmark the informational post.
 
Given that voting seems to have somewhat slowed down, I may call the vote in an hour or two.

Is plan is also probably not going to win, might I suggest I Know This Looks Bad? It has much more of a wilderness survival focus compared to the leading plan.
