Peace in Our Time! - A TRO Inspired Franco-British Union Quest

After some consideration, I think it's a good idea to try and establish Radlib as "the new right" to sap power from the Tories. To achieve that, however, we need to actually do some right-wing things, and not too many left-wing things, rather than acting like 'Labour in a fake moustache'. Whilst not going too far right to maintain the coalition for now.

I also shamelessly took some ideas I liked from Astra's plan.

Also, let's fight Rhodesia, it'll be cool, I promise. Who can try and stop us?

[X] Plan: London Shake
- [X][SCT] Pass the 1913 Government of Scotland Bill
- [X][TAX] Introduce Land Value Taxes
- [X][TAX] Grant Small Businesses Tax Breaks
- [X][TAX] Grant Families Tax Breaks
- [X][POL] Soft cap. The amount of money is moderately limited
- [X][PAR] Do not increase government money given to political parties
- [X][RAD] Restore nationalized radio stations to their original owners
- [X][TV] Sell broadcasting rights for television
- [X][ADS] Don't introduce advertisements on public channels
- [X][BBC] Maintain BBC budget
- [X][ART] Don't expand art programs
- [X][AZA] Maintain the royal commission
- [X][CHA] Grant independence immediately
- [X][MAD] Grant independence immediately
- [X][RHO] Issue an ultimatum to force the issue
- [X][ALG] Incorporate into French Algeria proper
- [X][SPA] Dodge that bullet, continue NOT funding a space program
- [X] Form National Parliaments will require paramilitary disbandment and political deradicalisation
- [X] Recognize homosexual civil-partnerships
- [X] Form the Ministry of Inquiry as a nonpartisan ministry to investigate all levels of government
- [X] Investigate for members of civil and military services who contributed to recent political violence
- [X] Create/increase scholarships for elite international students to attend our elite universities
- [X] Throw a bone to the culture warriors: Start a pilot program for churches to run schools again. If said schools become hotbeds of the far-right, or don't deliver decent education, or if we really really need to please the left, declare "You blew your second chance, mate" and keep current schooling laws. Else slowly expand the program and eventually re-allow all church schools.
- [X] Try and stroke the ex-Lords' egos: Build a big monument to honour "their centuries of guidance" or something.

[X] Plan How To Solve a Problem Like Algiers

Part of me feels this may backfire but if Scotland is going to get one then eventually Algiers will start pestering us about one.

[X] Plan How To Solve a Problem Like Algiers

Kinda torn tbh as Rapid and Radical Liberalism does allow a whip to get Algiers into shape through threatening it with austerity until it complies, but by that same token I'm a little worried about kicking off another round of the Troubles Exiled French edition.

The token reforms suggested in the Algiers plan are, however, very unlikely to be enforced properly. They have no real enforcement mechanisms, and the NPUP are quite likely to just do aesthetic reforms above all else.

No, Darlan needs to be dragged kicking and screaming into the democratic-socialist project, and threatening his one lifeline, funding, is the best way to do it. The idea that it would spawn a Troubles situation is very strange to me, because that was a reaction to Northern Ireland refusing to enact reforms, not because they were too gunho about reforms. We aren't gonna see anything like the Troubles or even the Contras, no one is willing to support an anti-FBU fascist movement in Algeria, and if anything, we should welcome a chance to finally squash French fascism once and for all.

And also, the Algeria plan for some reason wants to keep Azawad and Chad under royal commission when they're the ones that are explicitly okay with staying with us after independence, and on the other hand it gives Madagascar independence when it is explicitly noted to be more easily swayed.
