IIRC one of the things about Cirno mentioned by the other fairies was that she just keeps coming at you even after you blow her up a few times, where other fairies will stop to sulk immediately.

There is nothing in Buddhism that says that a person can't have a romantic relationship and get married. Marriage is viewed as a completely secular contract based on one's culture.

Edit: Are discussing the daughters and marriage mutually exclusive? I imagine a mixture of the two where Hijiri marries Shinki, then needs to talk to his new step daughters.
