I still don't want to condemn other girls to a fate worse than death if they can be helped. I don't think that would be good for Momoka's state of mind. Besides, she promised her sister to help them, and I want to stick to that.

Not to mention, Momoka can still get along with everyone else when she's not hunting Witches - you know, the stuff normal people do. This may be more difficult in the case of Kyoko, but not in the case of Mami and Momo. Yes, it might be a little awkward, but I believe it will work.

Doing this is probably going to have unforeseen consequences the more we do it. But fuck it, we ball.

Come on guys, we can't just endlessly reset the world every time we come across a witch. Constant resetting and messing with the timeline will get both annoying and confusing real fast, and we don't know anyone in relation to this witch like we did last time.

Oh, this choice is a timeskip, so nothing annoying to deal with (as far as the narrative being tiresome/confusing is concerned). I don't want to write that each and every single time either. It's why this choice is important; it's going to be set up for the rest of the story/route. The end of Episode 5/start of Episode 6 puts us into March, which is the start of the 'canon' timeline.

I should probably try to argue my point more.

First of all, it's not a choice between Momoka having a martyr complex and being mentally fine. She already knows what the Seeds of Grief are, she knows that she is condemning someone to eternal suffering in order to support herself. We have plenty of examples of Magical Girls who would rather die than do this. But Momoka doesn't even risk spending all her magic, unlike them. Moreover, she would also be able to save all the victims of this witch. I can only imagine how much guilt she would feel, especially since she would have to hide all this from the other girls.

Secondly, this is what she has already chosen by promising her help to Madokami in her mission. Unaware of Walpurgisnacht, she chose to remain a Magical Girl specifically to fulfil Madoka's Wish and save the Magical Girls who do not deserve such a fate. It seems extremely strange to give it up now.

One last thing... Well, like I said, I don't think fighting Witches is the only way for Momoka to form bonds. Yes, probably this way the connections will strengthen much faster, but this does not mean that, for example, Mami will ignore the new Girl if she encounters her outside of battle. And forming a bond this way seems just as important to me as the fact that Momoka won't feel like she's doing something terrible to get it all.

Any choice is poison, but the poison of loneliness, in my opinion, is much easier to deal with than the poison of guilt. Moreover, in the first case, Momoka still has Madoka, Sayaka and Lexi, so this is not completely alone.

It goes without saying that voting has been closed, but I'll just make the formal announcement here. Post will be out tomorrow!

Is there any reason why this Quest isn't marked with the PMMM tag? It'd help with the tag search function for fans looking specifically for PMMM content.

probably because it's in the title

but yeah, that'd be good for people who use tags

Also, an update in regards to the post. Been trying to get something out the past day or so, I've gotten like four lines. I'm going to take a break over the weekend and get the last post of Episode 5 out by Monday. Afterward, we'll go from there!
