Oh yes, by default this war is a genocidal one. But if you can subdue the Rival and study her pheromones you might be able to adjust them to match yours.
Sorry we have blood qi. Not diplomat Qi. Slay them all! Even the males and the larvae! MAHAHAHAHA!

Day 75: How to Deal with Myrmidons
Day 75
The Ant is determined not to let this energy defeat her! She studies it intensively until she has memorized all its properties and then scouts the colony's territory looking for some hint on where it can be gathered. She crosses mud hills and grass forests without finding anything however.
It is only when she visits the colony itself that she catches a whiff of the elusive energy. Following it she finds herself in the brood chamber itself where at last she finds tiny traces of the energy in the pupae themselves. Or rather in their cocoons. It encircles her juvenile sisters, strengthening and transforming them.
The Ant could, if she wanted, extract this strengthening energy, gather it, and then infuse it in specific broods in far larger quantities. She gets the sinking feeling that this would have ill consequences for the unborn sisters she extracted the energy from.

She isn't quite ready to attempt that however so she exits the colony mound and moves back to the frontlines. If she isn't going to cultivate sister myrmidons of her own, then she can at least ensure her Rival doesn't have any to follow her commands.
Gathering up a war party of her sisters the Ant goes on the hunt. She chases the enemy myrmidons across the frontlines tirelessly ensuring that they can not make any progress and cutting them down one by one.
The myrmidons are powerful and well trained, but they are still merely mortal. In the face of the Ant's wrath they can do nothing but flee and die. And with them gone the Ant cuts deep into Enemy territory. Unfortunately her single minded focus has left other parts of the Colony's territory at risk and the Rival has taken advantage of that strategic lapse.

The Ant was in fact so efficient at killing Myrmidons that she finds herself with a day with no scheduled duties. Such cannot be tolerated of course. So she falls back on running through kata. An extra day of energy can't hurt. She can feel she's getting close to another stage.

we probably should infuse the larva with the silk Qi, after all the Sect/Colony must survive.
We don't have Silk Qi, do we? We could gather some, probably by killing some larvae, but not sure if we should. This ant is already traumatized from her last experiment with larvae!

Got through the Myrmidon actions, so now it's just getting the war done, and the next stage is tantalizingly close.
We need to first gather Silk Qi before we can infuse it, so voting for that does nothing. Also it's a daily action.
Maybe we can later gather some from stuff like butterfly or moth cocoons instead.
