The benefit is that you gain blood qi passively by doing other things. Just spending actions to get blood qi wouldn't be worth it by itself. But for instance right now you are fighting the Enemy in order to push them back. And as a side benefit you are accruing blood Qi to use later.

    The Ant attempts to study the energy she got from the Myrmidons. The energy feels softer somehow. More tender. Not at all like her normal Energy or the viscous droplets she renders from her Enemies corpses.

    It is obvious why this would work to create Myrmidons. It feels soothing and calm. She thinks it would be very hard to hurt even a larva with this Energy. But unfortunately she has no idea how to make it. She is completely baffled.
