Mythos

Results 1
The gods rise from their womb in the city's centre, into the grand hall with images of hands reaching towards something depicted on the ceiling, on said ceiling is depictions of lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of beautiful flowers

All at once the gods did their respective first acts
Shang observes the others and proceeds to run out of the birthing chamber, leaving their siblings, in a hurry to check out the world
Nhwereoma crawled around, feeling the walls of the chamber, away from the others as to avoid crushing them under its immense body, which only filled out a small part of the celestial energy's room
The Storyteller, with their innate Miracle was able to sense that the hands on the walls reaching towards the ceiling carvings of flowers were supposed to mean billions reaching for a form of paradise, a representation of a better life in a land far away, they left the chamber to check out the outside world since they sensed no other stories in the room, thus it wasn't their business
Tabula Rasa tried to read the writings on the walls, but found no answers here, so they continued into the city itself to see what the outside was like
March Of Cogs immedietly ran out the door to gather resources, they had plans and they needed materials for them
Ruliana pricked the surface of the ball of celestial energy, and used the strange liquid as ink for some commandments

Crawling out later then the rest were a pair of small children, Twins, who were greeted by the oldest of all the gods (Oldest only by a week between when he first spawned and when the rest did, he spent most of it goofing off), The Moon-Smitten, who came back to the chamber to greet whoever the divine womb birthed, but was promptly ignored by the rest, the Twins spent the rest of the day observing the Moon-Smitten hop across the rooftops of the city, singing songs to the hunk of rock in the sky in a futile attempt to woo said rock

Mythos
- In the centre is a ball of celestial energy that spawns gods, located in a grand underground chamber of immense size, big enough to fit a smaller city, carved on the walls are a couple billion hands reaching towards the ceiling, on said ceiling is depictions of countless beautiful flowers

Shang-Houzi: Start growing a bunch of forests to decorate this drab world, you could do with some snacks and a place to rest anyways. Also do some thinking about your fellow gods, most of them seem very serious.
Shang walked through the streets of Mythos, grand but all just dry stone, no plant life, no life in general actually, just towering buildings, archways, streets leading to buildings with no purpose, and no sign of any either, just grand structures for the sake of it
He took a great leap and landed on a villa of carved stone, unfurnished and plain, with what seem like benchs but placed too high, windows put too low, smooth circular indents dotted in the outside like a golfball

Shang-Houzi looked around, at the monoliths of the city, and thought about their siblings back at the birthing chamber
The Prime King thought of the strange giant covered in hearts, feeling the walls of the chamber, wondering why they decided to crawl around, did it have the mindset of an infant? Or maybe he was jumping to conclusions and it just couldn't carry it's own weight, they were quite big
Houzi also saw that fellow with the ashy skin leave the chamber too, maybe they were bored it as well? Also their skin was the exact same colour as all the sand

At the thought of the grey wastelands, Shang-Houzi decided that there was just too much of it, time to add some colour, he leaped off the spire and landed thousands of feet on the ground below, before running in circles on the sand that aligned with Mythos' out rim, leaving a rapidly expanding forest growing in his wake, immense foliage, greenery of all kinds of shapes and sizes formed, then Shang thought to run in a spiral and spread the forest into the area beneath Mythos but they were beaten to filling it out by some mysterious body of water forming beneath city, well, it wasn't too much of a bother, at least he won't have to worry about replacing the plants if they were to die of dehydration
As he was running circles around the forming little sea, he thought about the others

Such as that figure with the 3 eyes scampering out of the chamber in moments, muttering things about a plan and sand, what a freaking weirdo, hell, Shang was pretty sure he could see her in the distance doing something
Then the last 2 that stayed behind with the giant with beating tumours despite being stone, like that figure made of the weird metal and the lady bleeding the divine womb for some odd purpose

The Grand Ape sat at the edge of a newly made shore, and some bananas grown from their little forest, then took a nap thanks to a job well done

The Resting Ape Jungle
- Verdant ring shaped jungle surrounding Behemoth Lake
- All the trees there have fruits, and all the branches feel nice to rest on top of for a quick nap

Nhwereoma: Attempt to fashion a heart for the mass of celestial energy that birthed it. Try to stand still while doing this task so that an ocean will form beneath Mythos.
The giant stood up, and begun to do it's work, attempting to construct a heart for the sloshing ball of celestial amniotic fluid they were born of
Success D47 rolled a 37
Vs
Failure D30 rolled a 11

Nhwereoma tore off a single little heart and reworked it into a grand and holy thing, inserting the organ of flesh and stone, the giant pressed the heart against the surface of the celestial membrane until the thin layer of god-stuff gave way for the new organ, whatever changes may come from this are yet to be seen

But the giant faced their fellow god, not the one made of strange metal who left like all the others after checking out the room, and the deity of vastness said "Why do you work so tirelessly on strange little liquid lights?" Nhwereoma said, observing the goddess writing little symbols of gold in the air repeatedly

"Why did you crawl when you're perfectly capable of standing?"

Far beneath Mythos, a large body of water started forming thanks to the giant standing up, and once the giant decided to rest on their knees, it shot up, trying to pierce though the city of mythos, but was unable to do so, the city was powerful, a mere inland ocean going at the speed of a bullet could not hope to stop it, it all crashed back down, watering the Resting Ape Jungle, and waking up Shang-Houzi, before pooling together in the centre beneath Mythos once more

"Because reasons" replied Nhwereoma to the goddess of hierarchies, who was looking around, trying to figure out what that loud noise was

Mythos
- In the centre is a ball of celestial energy that spawns gods, said ball has a heart personally crafted by Nhwereoma, located in a grand underground chamber of immense size, big enough to fit a smaller city, carved on the walls are a couple billion hands reaching towards the ceiling, on said ceiling is depictions of countless beautiful flowers
- Right above Behemoth Lake

Behemoth Lake
- Surrounded by the Resting Ape Jungle, and right beneath Mythos itself
- Large body of water

The Storyteller: create a large flying monster resembling a cross between a vampire bat and a European dragon, and set it loose in the world.
They sat atop a tower, using their monster mould to create the body, stretch out a couple bits to form the arms and the thin skin that would be the wings, and soon the Gavrix rises, a large yet scrappy mammal with leathery wings, it tried to bite into the god but dodging a bite from such a beast was childs play, it flew off into the city, looking for somewhere dark to rest

It would be encountered multiple times by some other gods, and the Moon-Smitten would get bitten by it 50 times through out the day, don't worry he's fine
Well, not like that love struck fool's well being mattered much to the Storyteller, hell they weren't even aware of his existence

What mattered to them was the Gavrix, a newborn pile of walking, breathing, slobbering, starving life! Bloodthirsty in a very literal sense, leathery skin with small patches of fur along their spine like a partially burnt off mane, and with a roar like a vermin's screech amplified through the lungs of a thousand tigers

It's fucking beautiful

The Gavrix
- A creation of The Storyteller
- A scrappy four-legged mammal, constantly looks emaciated, leathery skin and bat-like wings, patchy mane along their skin, a feral looking mix between a vampire bat and a european dragon
- Wants blood, to drink

Tabula Rasa: Wander the city of Mythos, seeking information from its halls. Why was it built, and why is this world naught but an endless gray waste?
Short answer, you have no idea, the city is unimaginably big, yet there are no signs of wear and tear, no signs of maintenance, and the whole place was constructed strangely, all structures for the sake of it, none with a clear purpose aside from being big and being buildings
And as far as Tabula could tell, there was no one else out there in the wastes, aside from the other gods messing with the landscape for some reason, and that weird flying creature that screeched at Rasa for a minute before leaving

There was also that Moon-Smitten fellow, but they didn't discover anything during their week after being born, only creating a long list of songs for the moon, Tabula Rasa was nothing but confused at the seemingly inexplicable structure that was their hometown
And a gut feeling in them said that they would not find answers any time soon, possibly never at all

March Of Cogs: Go to the Grey Wastes, making an army of cogs from its sands, and use then to start to search for Mundane Ores to mine.
Success D38 rolled a 2
Vs
Failure D23 rolled a 10
You have created an abomination against all that is holy
"Hoi! I'm Sand-o the living sand castle! Yippee!"
Nothing will top this, SIN, and you know it

It wanders off to the shore of Behemoth Lake to play, and you sit there wondering where it all went wrong.... oh right there was no mortal beings you knew of before attempting to make a cog, that's why it failed
Then the Gavrix flew by much to your surprise, WHERE WAS THAT A MINUTE AGO!? You could've used it as the base!

Sand-O
- A creation of March Of Cogs
- Jolly grey little living sandcastle
- Loves to play at shores

Ruliana: Create a golden tattoo that can change to display your current order and rank. There are four orders, each with three ranks that Ruliana made up. The Orders are Lowest, Middle, Highest, and Ascended. The ranks are Angel, Archangel, Principality, Power, Virtue, Dominion, Throne, Cherub, Seraphim, Divine, Celestial, Transcendent.
Success D40 rolled a 16
Vs
Failure D24 rolled a 11

The goddess of order and hierarchies, after her conversation with the giant and giving up on figuring out what that splashing noise was, continued her work on that little divine law, she assumed the fluid from mother would aide the effort, but it seemed to do nothing aside from acting as an ink for writing proclamations unto the universe, which in your hands could be easily replaced with normal ink and still work well

There were a couple bumps in the road, having to worry about calculating the exact shape of the tattoo, making the etching process didn't go deep enough to draw blood, and adjusting the shade of the gold was a bitch, kept ending up as an ugly shade of yellow

But with effort and skill she carved a rule into the universe with her nails, and it stuck, becoming a commandment, which while not exactly accurate, is a shorter title than a artificially intelligent metaphysical pseudo-law, it wasn't wide spread it would try to reach whatever it found compatiple

She felt her creation spreading through the physics in the air, growing across the rules like a fungus, trying to envelop the giant but failing to do so, but the divine womb was a more docile force, it let the commandment in, and allowed Ruliana to reach through the membrane to carve the Symbol Of Rank upon it's heart, and thus the commandment started warping that symbol until it became the mark of the Transcendant

Huh, freaking weird, Ruliana then carved the Symbol Of Rank into her own skin, then it became the mark of the Divine, okay the divine womb is technically more powerful in the eyes of her own hierarchy, don't know if that's good or not
But hey, at least it works

Symbol Of Rank Commandment
- Created by Ruliana to mark folks as specific ranks in a hierarchy she made with golden tattoos, more loyal to her than the other gods
- A living rule of the universe, affects those it finds compatible
- If it decides to affect you and the Symbol Of Rank is written on your skin, it will transform the symbol into a different one representing the rank that fits you most
- Lowest: Angel/Archangel/Principality
- Middle: Power/Virtue/Dominion
- Highest: Throne/Cherub/Seraphim
- Ascended: Divine/Celestial/Transcendent

Ruliana
- The Symbol Of Rank has marked her as Divine Rank

Mythos
- In the centre is a ball of celestial energy that spawns gods, said ball has a heart personally crafted by Nhwereoma, and carved onto that heart by Ruliana is the Symbol Of Rank which has declared it Transcendent Rank, located in a grand underground chamber of immense size, big enough to fit a smaller city, carved on the walls are a couple billion hands reaching towards the ceiling, on said ceiling is depictions of countless beautiful flowers

Actions 2
In case you missed out on creating a god, you can make one during these action sections
(All are subject to veto and rewrite if I see any problems like gods of magic, gods of time, or gods of gods, just stay away from trying to seem like the most "Special" or powerful god, I'm already allowing your characters enough strength to annihilate cities, I don't need mary sues among an actual pantheon)

Banned Aspects (Can be subject to change, and new additions could be added later on)
Events
Omnipotence
Success
Failure
Magic (Since any form of reality manipulation is basically magic to me so you would always have a bonus during those rolls)
Everything
Fate

[] Deity Name: Obvious what this is
- [] 3 Aspects: 3 things they have power over, creatures, concepts, occupations, feelings, stuff like that, they're basically pretty good with things related to their Aspects
- [] Form: What they look like
- [] Miracle 1: An ability they have which they can do more easily then most reality warping, can be super powerful but don't make it the most strong one
- [] Miracle 2: You can have less then 3 if you don't feel like filling them all
- [] Miracle 3:
- [] Flavour Text: Optional

Now choose a single Deity, and an action they'll perform this turn

[] March Of Cogs: Use the Gavrix as base for some Cogs, make them out of sand, then have them mine for mundane ores

[] The Twins: Purify one of the buildings in Mythos, maybe it'll reveal something

[] The Storyteller: Commission a couple songs about monsters from the Moon-Smitten, in exchange give them monster servants that can play music

[] Write-in

[X] The Storyteller: Commission a couple songs about monsters from the Moon-Smitten, in exchange give them monster servants that can play music.

That sounds like a good idea. Also let me just say that I love how this turn turned out, as it was very interesting.

[X] Shang-Houzi: Go exploring and check out what else has been happening so far such as the Lake, the Gravrix, Sand-O, Moon Guy's songs, etc. If you come across the others all trying to do different things with the Gravrix, provide some humorous commentary to the conflict.

Any of you guys got any long term plans? Because I'm gonna have any sapient beings you guys create start working together to form little cultures, I will do my best to add variety

Gonna try and set up a army before the mortals happen, then I'm gonna attack then, not enought for them to be destroyed, but enought for them to start advancing technologically.

I will mostly just have the Storyteller try and make some monsters to help with the creating of stories and legends for what ever civilisations end up appearing.

My entire plan right now is to make a leveling system essentially. A hierarchy that people can ascend through without breaking the order.

[X] Ruliana: Create a gold matrix that will be linked to all of the other Symbols of Rank and place it on the heart Nhwereoma gave the Mother. The matrix's sole purpose right now is to record the current name, race, order, and rank of anyone with a Symbol of Rank.

I personally wanna get the various gods socializing and forming opinions on each other.
Also when/how are mortals gonna be created?
That sounds fun, although Ruliana will be a bit of a shut-in until her system is at least partially up and running.

Yeah but the only gods with miracles that make life are The Storyteller who makes monsters, Shang-Houzi who makes plants, and I suppose maybe The Twins?
Remember, Miracles are mainly the stuff you do without a need for a check

You can create some life if you wanna try, or I might have life accidentally be made during different checks, who knows
With the reality warping nature of your characters I have a lot to work with to detail the mythology

[X] Nhwereoma: Descend and cow the Gavrix into submission. Try to enlarge it so that it can ride on it and work out a way for it to have an external heart separate from itself that can always bleed for it to drink on.

Those are some ominous golden runes.

Biding on someone else doing that because Nhwereoma wouldn't think of it. Long term, probably just being a good god that dislikes gods messing with mortals.

You don't need to have a life miracle to make life. We're all, ultimately, reality warping entities after all. The only limit is that the more it contradicts your domains, the higher the chance of failure.
Those are some ominous golden runes.
Ruliana: "Ominous? I can assure you there is nothing untoward about the Symbol of Rank. I can even prove it, if you are willing to accept its branding."

:)

I for one support Sand-O becoming more important in the grand scheme of things.

Oh also Donald you might wanna go back and add periods to the end of sentences/paragraphs.

Man you will hate Cogs, cause messing with mortals is how they show they love.

Nhwereoma is probably going to have a interesting relationship with The Storyteller, as some of his creations are probably going to cause trouble for future mortals, though that would not be out of malice, as I am imagining him as someone who just wants to lay the foundations for good stories, he could potentially be convinced to make something beneficial, if he thought it could make for a good story.
