-[] While we have fought valiantly in the Battle for Britain, the damage is still done and many of our roads, railways and industries would require extensive repair and remodeling. With the help of our returning countrymen and the largesse of the Royal Treasury the task of rebuilding our country with new, modern methods and emerging greater than before is upon us.

-[] On the matter of taxation, the admission of the French people to our nation has granted us the obligation to ensure that their industry and enterprise can stand on equal footing with our esteemed British businesses. Furthermore, our new holdings in Africa have left us woefully overstretched. Begin a program of tax benefits not just for businesses but also our new citizens to encourage the formation of families.

Their first act was the banning of the French Communist Party and Algerian Communist Party across the FBU. Labour fully supported the move. The security risk presented by the communists' demands had to be dealt with. Nobody wanted the FBU to break apart, or at the very least give away rightfully stolen colonies. Although I am severely disappointed in the loss of the communist party and suppression despite their votes. I suppose it was to be expected. No way would a massive Imperialist power like the FBU ever respect election results with communists winning seats.

The 1945/46 Syrian Revolt was put down before Soviet forces could reach the border of Turkey to support it. India was given dominion status to stave off a massive revolt. The right, center, and center-left wings of the INC accepted it. The Muslim League begrudgingly accepted it. There's unrest in Algeria, Kenya, Palestine, and a number of other places as well.

It couldn't have gone any other way. The NPC's have agency. I will not unilaterally overrule player decisions, but expect NPCs to push back against some things.
