I wonder if the two hanging cords will do anything if they are reconnected. It doesn't look like we can reach either from the stairwell. We could climb the stairs and jump to one of the cords/cables, but grabbing both would be difficult. Getting down safely wouldn't be easy.

Also, connecting them could make bad things happen.

No swords associated with gods in this hallway. I recommend climbing the stairs after the body has been checked out. Sure, it might have a boss, but I suspect it will have an area to rest and recover instead.

...Uh, I felt like answering this but slight spoilers so, im... Spoilering it.

Potential is what the word means, it's manifest potential, the ability for something to become something more. It's just a lot more literal in this world.

Soon enough you will be able to spend the Potential Points you gather, you just gotta find a "bonfire" first, so to say.

Now, I am not against checking the dead. If anything, I wanna crack it open like a can for potential.
But we can multitask people.

So this was probably done by a Subject of the Supply System like we thought, Kikaiken'd to death.
However, we have questions to ask.
[X] See if you can find out if it still holds potential, cut it open if you must.
[X] However, before you make noise by cutting it open, talk with Dulandal.

-[X] Ask if he can teach you any Skill or Knack.

We need more options, y'all.
