Starting in on shifting the balance of power within Anonymous away from the Trolls and toward the Hacktivists. I decided to give my second support vote to the IWW this turn on account of them having the best one-turn recruitment bonus, which also happened to be due to online presence which felt appropriate given my other vote. Bash Back! was a close second, on account of having the next-best one-turn recruitment bonus.

Would it be gauche to ask for one additional vote this turn, for the sake of getting seven as opposed to six funds?

Next funds breakpoint is at seven votes, which is definitely a bridge too far this turn.

-[X] Originating from the "Albanian Group" within the CPUSA and founded in 1962, the PLP had grown through front groups and by infiltrating the SDS contributing to the eventual collapse of the SDS into factionalism and infighting. The PLP wishes to preserve the integrity of Marxism as outlined by "Lenin-Stalin," vehemently opposing what it calls "Trotskyite Revisionism", "Albanian Opportunism" and the "National-Deviationist Three Worlds Theory". It labels both Trotsky and Bukharin as "Axis Collaborators." While they reject "Trotskyite entryism," in practice the PLP has employed entryist tactics to recruit members, with varying degrees of success. Still, the PLP broke from some of their earlier positions, by expressing support for LGBTQ rights and organizing with LGBTQ workers. They deem the concept of Socialism in one Country as outdated and seek to establish chapters beyond the United States. Furthermore, they have reassessed the Two-stage theory, rejecting it as the cause of Soviet and Chinese Revisionism, and have made greater efforts to organize with minority groups, publishing articles in both English and Spanish and organizing with migrant workers. They are labeled as Class reductionists by other groups.

-[x] Circumstance of founding: In early 2008, three young but visionary businessmen encountered each other during a drunken bash through San Francisco. Zackary Mcgrath, Oscar Byrne and Reuben Raymond all believed that government interference was preventing their businesses from growing optimally and hindering technological development. How great could they make society if only it wasn't for all these stupid rules! The day after, the three discovered that not only did they have a massive hangover, but also that they had somehow created a new NGO to help shape America according to their vision. 2008 Q2: Planning
The second quarter of 2008 fades into view as people start to realize the extent of how bad the economic crisis could be getting. Bush's paltry economic stimulus tax refunds feel like a fresh slap in the face for those struggling, but for those truly struggling at least it's not nothing right? The strikes from 2007 have ended, another bank fails as April arrives, and the movie 21 is topping the box office.

McCain's Presidential campaign seems dead on arrival with the economy faltering, while the Dems are slowly warming up to the first Black president idea and are locking arms with Obama's Hope And Change platform. Hopefully something does change with someone who is not yet another old white man, but time will tell. Youths continue esoteric protests about "internet censorship" behind guy fawkes masks, and labor starts to get restless as businesses close down. The year is starting to look eventful.

Some actions are universal and can be included in any organization's plan, others are just for one. Funds are per turn, they don't stack. Any ?s are for you to write-in a number for that action. New actions as write-ins are encouraged to be suggested at any time.

When voting, put the organization acronym before the name of the plan like this:
[X][IWW] Plan do stuff

Universal Actions:

[] Require dues
--[] Small
--[] Medium
--[] Large
--[] Based on income
-[] Allow Non-monetary methods
-[] Allow delinquent members

More dues reduces membership but increases income. Allowing delinquent members offsets the membership decrease but you also get less income. Allowing Non-monetary methods allows your members to pay in forms like food, stolen software, or other types of material support, but doesn't translate well to funding for other activities.

[] Manage online presence.
-[] Social Media Accounts: 2 funds, 0 per turn.
-[] Personal Website: 10 funds, -5 per turn.
-[] Mobile App: 100 funds, -10 per turn.

Making an online presence can increase recruitment and increase the effectiveness of other actions such as putting candidates up for election. Only use an action for initial creation.

[] Make a newspaper.
-[] Local: 15 funds, -2 per turn.
-[] National: 100 funds, -10 per turn.
-[] Many local across core region: 200 funds, -20 per turn.

Making newspapers can increase recruitment and increase the effectiveness of other actions such as putting candidates up for election. Their effectiveness for recruitment will decline over time, but their effect on ideological cohesion will never fade. Only use an action for initial creation.

[] Stockpile guns and ammo. ? funds.

To complete is members/100. Roll 1d20 per funds. Rolling completion, decays 5% per turn representing use and action never disappears.

[] Encourage members to pick up martial arts. ? Funds.

While doing nothing for if you're caught in a firefight, this will help in a variety of circumstances for the self defense of individual members.

[] Start a gun club. ? funds.

Less unsavory in the eyes of both the public and the law compared to a militia or self defense group. Teaches members the importance of gun safety and helps teach people how to acquire guns under modern laws.

[] Assemble a self defense group. ? funds.

Uses 5 "guns & ammo" progress per fund. Get 1d20 community members who can respond to violence upon themselves more meaningfully than an untrained civilian.

[] Train militia. ? cadres.

More "militarized" than a self defense group. Uses 1 funds and 10 "guns & ammo" progress per cadre. Get 1d20 trained militia per cadre.

[] Organize protests about ?

Gets your name out there for both bad and good. Doesn't do much otherwise. Write-in option.

[] Attack organization building of ?
-[] ? times.
-[] Claim credit.

Write-in, can be an OTL organization or one of the other player organizations. Costs 1 wealth per building attacked. Note if it's discovered you did it, or if you claim credit, there will be consequences.

[] Make a public campaign defaming a rival person or group.
-[] Spend ? funds.

[] Send agitators to publicly speak supporting your cause.
-[] Online Spaces. ? funds.
-[] On the streets of cities. ? funds.
-[] In the workplaces of cities. ? funds.
-[] To rural towns. ? funds.
-[] To the farmworkers. ? funds.
-[] At parties of the rich. ? funds, min 20.
-[] In the lobbies of politicians. ? Funds.

Plan is named after the Ground Transportation and Transit Workers Industrial Union 530, the section of the IWW responsible for, among other things, truck drivers in the freight and passenger industry. Basically just grabbing more methods of media to boost recruitment, hopefully finishing up Trucker Strike support, and since I don't have any money left, might as well throw an action onto sympathy protests with the truckers to see if it synergizes.
