Buffy the Vampire Slayer Take Two

[X] Write-in: Ask the Slayer to accompany us to Giles'a home where we can call Buffy and the Watchers Council, making sure to not invite her inside and see if she can enter of her own power.

Did she? I don't remember XD fluff for brains

Yep. Right here. And that's it.

You looked around, and grinned when you spotted the bleach. "Alright, we're getting out of here."

"You found a better plan?" Cordelia asked bitingly. There was hope in her as she followed you though.

"Yup. Bleach. That kills bugs, doesn't it?" you picked up the jug and headed to the door. "Alright, we're gonna go out there and run. If we see the worms, we soak 'em in bleach." Cordelia nodded. You threw open the door and searched for the worm guy. Cordelia charged out heading for the front. The worms started forming, and you quickly splashed the bleach across the ground. They writhed blackening as the bleach ate at their bodies. You splashed some more bleach around just in case, and joined Cordelia in the car. She didn't waste any time racing down the street to the school.

You headed to the library to catch the others up on what was happening, only to be ambushed as you came in. Luckily Buffy stepped in. "Hey, it's alright! He's with us."

"Who sponsored career day today? The amazons?" you asked looking at the girl. She reminded you of Buffy.

"This is Kendra. She's a slayer," Giles introduced.

"Thought there was only supposed to be one?"

"That's, complicated," Buffy said, explaining nothing.

"Right, got it. So, met a bug man at Buffy's house waiting for her!" you said cheerfully.

"A bug man?" Giles asked curiously.

"Yup! Giant pile of worms that formed together to make a person. Really gross."

"I need a shower after that," Cordelia complained.

Giles nodded, and shifted the discussion to explaining that the assassins had been hired to stop Buffy from interfering from a ritual to cure a sick vampire. One that required a sire's blood on the new moon. One that would require Angel. So you had to save him to save the day. A bit ironic. Any other vampire and they wouldn't have been around to be used for a cure. But you supposed he had helped you guys out last time. And there was Kendra as an extra slayer for back up, as strange as that was. You really needed to get the story of how that was going on later.

[ ]Work with Amy and Ms Calendar to get rid of the assassins
[ ]Help find Angel to protect him from being used in the ritual

Another Slayer 2
She seems surprised that you know about the Watcher's Council, and follows you willingly enough to Giles' place. She enters, and Giles nods a greeting.

"Sofia, I see you made it down."

"You know her?" you asked.

Giles nodded. "Yes, she's Kendra's replacement."

Kendra, Kendra. Wait. You remembered Giles talking about this before, but you'd forgotten. It had been such a brief meeting. "How are there two slayers?"

"The theory is that Buffy's temporary death facing the Master, combined with the mystical importance of her death fulfilling a prophecy, lead to the Slayer line twinning," Giles explained. "Obviously this isn't something we want to experiment with, or test, but that is the current hypothesis."

"And Kendra's dead?" Willow asked quietly. She looked at Sofia, taking in the fact that a girl her age, one like Buffy, had died so young. You were uncomfortable yourself thinking about it, especially with your involvement in saving Buffy's life leading to Kendra being Chosen. You were not going to go down that rabbit hole. That had too many problems.

"Why is she here?" you demanded.

"For training," Sofia answered proudly. "Buffy isn't here, so I'm filling in."

Well. There was a lot to take in there.

[ ]Point out that there's been low levels of vampires so far
[ ]Ask if you'll be training with her
[ ]Ask if you're expected to help out
[ ]Find somewhere else to stay while Sofia visits

[X]Ask if you'll be training with her

[X]Write-in: Suggest that as training, that we work together and start attacking Vampire nests and crypts during the day, where we have the advantage.

Poor Kendra. Always did feel bad about how she was killed in the series.

Huh, I definitely wasn't expecting that. Poor Kendra. Here's hoping Sofia can last longer, though that would mean that Faith wouldn't be chosen. We don't really know enough about Faith to say if that would make her life worse though.

Umm, I never watched the show so I have to ask: Is there any downside to the write-in? Will Xander and Sofia be considered as "breaking the rules" so the vampires can break the rules in turn?

The only time we see our heroes storm nests and it be considered bad was when the time Faith convinced Buffy to do so by skipping school, and when Riley Finn did it by his lonesome without backup.

The main reason that they seemed to not storm nests during the day was due to their social lives and other commitments.

I think this is one of those things you tell/state and not ask.

[X]We can start training with her now.

[X]Write-in: State that we work together and start attacking Vampire nests and crypts during the day, where we have the advantage. (Common sense)

This makes sense to me. I'm adding it to my vote.

Xander is not a Watcher and has no control over what Sofia does. If Giles thinks that attacking vampire nests during the day is too dangerous, he will veto it, assuming that he knows what's going on anyway.

True but that's for him to say or not.
I don't think Giles can give us orders anyway. We most likely would listen because we respect him and his experience but not because we "have too".
Besides it's a statement made in front of Giles/The Watcher, A statement of intent/growth and maybe leadership.
We are stating it in front of him so either he agrees or not.
Either way we learn something and maybe he see us growing to something….
