nice update, I really like the depiction of magic
while I agree on finishing the blade, I'd prefer to advance on the temple, I want to see what's inside. Though we'd have to soothe our focus next turn.

Mostly we are worried that our focus would force us to spend AP on anti-Druchii actions next turn, so the final result would be that we would anyway be able to complete the Temple exploration only in Turn 9.
Yeah I think talking to our siblings right now would be smart. Also would like to talk to Tethia when we are doing the action A Gift for the Prince, since that would be appropriate.

I feel like talking to her before we do the Gift makes more sense, to help clarify where we stand with each other.
Side note: I know Vardanis is bi, and whilst I'd been hoping that could mean a male LI at some point Tethia kind of undercut that with the combination of their prior relationship and Vardanis' neet-ness, but I had an idea on how the former could happen.
@Voikirium goes full YA novel, and makes it a love triangle by introducing a broody bad boy Nagarythian. They can bond over their hatred of Druchii!

This assumes a lack of polyamorous options. Which seems like a big assumption, honestly. Which doesn't invalidate your suggestion of course, just saying it doesn't need to be a love triangle per se.

That's true, though I thinking that if we go for my plan this turn, the next we'd do 3 actions on the temple to finish it and 2 on the Book of Blackfang to soothe our focus (or another focus soothing like the cure); or maybe it wouldn't work as the action has to be completed for the soothing to occur?

Well, cutting up the Book of Blackfang or The Cure like that means that we lose the bonus from our traits, making those choices inefficient.
I'd prefer doing the Focus soothing this turn so Vardanis' focus doesn't get out of hand.
Plus planning around our traits is the most efficient option.

Changing my social action because I haven't thought how competing it before Goft to the Prince will effect availed socials. Plus it's fitting given they've just talked.
