You've been kidnapped and taken to Wonderland as Alice to save it from Corruption. But you're not Alice, and you have very little idea of what is going on

after all. If you still believed such things people would think you are soft in the head. Yet here you are, in your bedroom in London, watching as dusty lions and bears and eagles come crawling out from under your bed dressed up like people. They look around the room before seizing upon you. "Finally!" one exclaimed. "We've been looking everywhere for you Alice!"

"What?"

"We need you. Something's gone wrong!" the lion exclaimed. He picked you up, not even giving you a chance to explain that you are not, in fact, Alice.

[ ]Your name is Allison. Similar, but not the same at all really
[ ]Your name is Eliza. A good name, and one you're fond of
[ ]Your name is Beatrice. A good sensible name
[ ]Your name is Helena. It fills you with pride
[ ]Your name is Maud. You've tried to escape the name, but it's stuck to you

Someone has definitely broken the rules here, as when you go under your bed you are not confronted with the small amount of dust that you would expect. Instead you find yourself falling a short distance before being rushed off down a tunnel. There's so many bright colors down here, and you keep thinking that you're catching glimpses of doors as you're rushed off by the under the bed monsters to whatever destination they snatch people in their beds away to. Which makes this situation even more unfair, considering that you were properly tucked into your bed, and what wisps of memories you remember from childhood tells you that they shouldn't have been able to snatch you at all.

It's this very direction in your thoughts that has you internally scolding yourself. Surely you should be doing better than falling back on old childish thoughts and habits. But this whole thing is so strange and peculiar, you don't even know where to begin! It's certainly not anywhere near the calm rational of London. Your captor finally deposits you in front of an old gryphon that looks like he's shedding quite a few feathers and is starting to go bald. "We got Alice!" the lion crowed.

The gryphon peered forward. "Really? Is it truly you Alice?"

[ ]Lie and go along with what the gryphon is saying. You don't want to make them mad
[ ]Admit you're not who they're looking for
[ ]Demand to be set free, you want nothing to do with this

Not quite what I expected from you, Blacksheep, but it looks interesting

Wonderland Characters
Beatrice
Age:
18
Occupation: She's just finished school. Once this small detour in Wonderland is over with, she'll have plenty of work to do finding her place in the world

Gryphon
Age:
Old and Molting Feathers
Occupation: He Remembers what Wonderland is. Or rather, he Remembers all the shapes that Wonderland has been before, and surely that's the same thing

Still Not Alice
"It's Beatrice, actually," you corrected the gryphon primly. "I don't know what Alice you are looking for, but you have certainly taken the wrong person!"

"Have you forgotten yourself?" The gryphon blinked at you and leaned forwards studying you with interest. "You have certainly changed a lot. Much less Alice shaped. Beatrice suits your new shape much better."

You're not actually sure if that's a compliment or not. "Thank you. But I really must go back home now, I need to work."

"Always so busy rushing around," the gryphon tsked. "This is more important. You need to fix things here before you go home."

"I do not! It's not my responsibility. I told you, I'm not Alice!"

The gryphon considered your words for a long moment. "You are close enough," he decided. "We still need you to fix things."

"You can't just go pushing these things onto people! It's quite rude," you told the gryphon.

"Rude? Rude?" The gryphon reared back wings flaring in shock at the accusation. "My manners are impeccable!"

"If they were impeccable, you wouldn't be stealing people away to fix your messes."

The gryphon cried out and turned around. He walked away, leaving you standing to stare after him. That was it? He just cuts off the conversation and leaves? Not even a proper goodbye or anything! He just went and walked off! You huffed angrily and looked at the creatures that had brought you here. The lion in the suit looked at you very sorrowfully. "You should not have been rude to Gryphon," he chided.

"He was the one being rude to me!" you protested. The lion looked even more reproachful at that.

[ ]Go after the Gryphon and demand for a way back
[ ]Ask the Lion about where you are
[ ]Ask what's broken anyway that decent people are being kidnapped for
[ ]Start looking for a way back yourself
