Bloody Evolution (RWBY / LoR)

Damn we are losing, we have to do something to take Ruby

[X] Rechazarla
La novia de Ruby solo funciona en Remnant, y sería cruel quitarle eso.:V

I'm pretty sure you can recreate it with the city's technology so there's no need to worry about that.

Also if I remember correctly ruby is a weapon obsessed (and a genius with the creation of said weapons I think) I highly doubt she wouldn't be able to create a blade for Cresent Rose: City Edition that could cut the barriers between the universes, if she doesn't He succeeds, my disappointment will be great.

For her to find her home universe is going to take a while, but hey she'll have plenty of time to do it, and she's got Ash and Cresent Rose: City Edition to keep her company in the meantime.

So basically make her life miserable.

At that point, just hand her to Carmen then.

its currently 27-22 in favor of not letting her come

Wow, I'd have thought people would be a lot more amenable to bringing Ruby along with us. Guess not.

Ah well.

Usually, I would say I don't really care. It's not like this Quest particularly tried to make us attached to any of the characters outside of Ash anyway. It's just how Binah is.

But that's impossible for me since I'm currently reading through a fanfic in which Ruby is busy being happy at her home, with her sister, father, uncle, friends, and loved ones.

I just can't bring myself to be the one who will push Ruby to hell.

[X] Accept her desire
Ruby will be fine, unless Binah or Angela decides she needs to see the truths of singularities (and their fucked up ways to keep it running) I think she'll be fine with seeing a little bit of cannibalism and organ stealing.

It seems to be a fierce battle.

So, some arguments for accepting her, let's see….

Tiphereth will need new friends, all the magical girls are leaving, Ruby would make a fine replacement.

It's not like Ruby's family will not learn what happened to her, the girls will be able to pass the message after going back to Remnant.

Ruby managed to surprise Binah by asking, that has to be worth a reward, doesn't it? Let's give her her wish.

Ruby talking about heroism with Gebura, think about it.

We are taking advantage of a child's innocent and naive curiosity.

There is no such thing as a "silver lining" here.

No reward, or other such. If you do choose to vote for her to stay, know that fundamentally speaking, it all flows down to such a problem.

She will likely never see her family again.

There is no happy ending for Ruby Rose the moment she takes this step.

She will merely be another soldier in the War against the Head. Perhaps, destined, to die a painful death when otherwise she could've lived a peaceful life with her family with Salem gone.

Yeah, thats the big thing. She thinks she wants this but it is an impulsive decision. As someone who has learnt it myself - many things are simply not worth knowing. But she hasn't learnt it yet.

Besides, i dont think we benefit too terribly much from her coming, either

I know a way to resolve this without stomping her curiosity completely.
Give her a book, A copy of a book to be exact.
the book of lobotomy corp, without how to make abnormalities, of course.

[X] Refuse her

I think it would be neat to have Ruby in the library. On the other hand, I shrimply cannot be detached about a 15 yr old so I gotta be lame here.
Also a priority of mine is keeping as many people out of the shithole world that is the City, even if it's vaguely detached. You don't need to accept the world as it is if you can just up and leave!

The man will outlive even himself if theres no-one for him to leave behind lmao.

First with the Crying Children, and then with the Distorted Crying Children.

[X] Accept her desire

What were the arguments for both sides again?

[X] Refuse her

I feel that if Ruby came with she would ultimately regret her choice, in the moment curiosity makes her want to come but give it a little time and it will lose it's novelty and become regret. The city isn't the kind of place for a girl like Ruby.

[X] Refuse her

Appreciate what you have Ruby, this isn't a simple "I'm moving out and striking out on my own", deal, the City is a place where sins have become expectations and virtues have long since died. Satiating your curiosity isn't worth a lifetime of suffering that will follow...and that lifetime won't even be very long for most there.
