Probably the best option, though i would also keep misha's words in mind. We don't need to stay here. If the situation goes completely wrong we can leave with our new brothers and search for another town. They are literally a dime a dozen in the border princes.

Edit: what I'm saying is, maybe think about an exit strategy.

This seems like all it would do is drive him and his men into a corner escalating the situation to bloodshed. Also, we still need his men, so having them be underfed would be counter productive to the overall defense.

But the boys deep intensity, and the bubbling - something - inside him lend him a weight beyond his years, only buoyed by his almost exaggeratedly imperial features.

    Appearance: The shortest of the six men who Asavar has come to call brothers, Anders is the most clearly borderlander of all the six, a curious melting pot of different ethnicities, from his blonde imperial hair, to his thinner Estalian nose, to the slightest pinch around his eyes that spoke of something far east. But all of that is secondary to Ander's sharp grin, and a discerning eye that carves deep into other people an insight; that seems far from skin deep.

The third tallest of the group, and the second most muscular, he is a bear of a man, and some part of you would think he would find himself at home in some of the softer longhalls of the southern Norscans, if he restrained himself from beating them all with his shoe.

    Appearance: Lanky and pale, Manfredo Di Muzio is all awkward proportions. Something that at times seems to weigh heavily on the boy, as he moves about in a near constant slump, so deep that it seemed that he was very near average height for the group of six Asavar has taken for himself. But Manfredo is as tall, if not taller than Asavar, even if the Norscan may out weigh him by thirty kilograms or more.
