Bloody Evolution (RWBY / LoR)

I'm gonna stick to my Ash=Angelica idea for now. I think the lyrics fit her way better than Angelica's child.

Oh god. If the Abnormalities decided to interfere with this, we might have to fight 5 Shard of Sorrows while dealing with the Music Box of Doom.

Carmen is getting more and more based by the second. Can anyone stop this woman???

If this is us overriding the Distortion's mind effect, top kek. If not, I hope we've built enough social capital with Binah to have her go along with us.

-Identified Ash's Semblance
The Void Passive: confers immunity to all mind-related effects, positive or negative. Does not affect Ash's own thoughts and feelings, but acts as immunity to sanity damage from outside sources.
Well, it seems like Distortion mindset counters that just fine, no?
E: Wait, that means White damage attacks won't help at all here; it'll need to be accelerated Social instead

[X] Interfere
-[X] Go somewhere isolated if feasible
Or perhaps it's time to see if Ash's music can affect Grimm? :V

Yeah, surprisingly enough, I don't trust the GM when he gives us three identical options in a row. Binah's entire narration up to this point, from her anger to the fact that she figuring out that Carmen is playing her games, points to her wanting to interfere.

Write-ins are always allowed unless I explicitely say otherwise
three identical options in a row

More likely it's either Ash (doesn't seem likely, the notes are avoiding Binah and Binah is good at discerning mental influences given this update), or Carmen at work there.

E:
This is OOC information,
Bulbel fits Ash's current state of mind extraordinarily well.
but given that and what we know of Distortion is there some way we can keep this in mind for the next update's vote?

Considering its a Mili song, I say that we should treat it like I treat other Mili songs that play for Distortion levels.

That is to say, we should consider the lyrics at least 90% literal and from the point of view of Ash herself.

So, lets analyze all the lyrics and figure out how they could relate to Ash being from the CIty:

Bulbel by Mili said:
All the seeds I sowed,
In a garden can't be claimed by me.
Do you hear the lilies speak?

I gave it my all,
Isn't it supposed to be sunny now?
But my rain won't stop,
My rain won't stop.

Probably means that she left a life in the City mid way, just before it could get to the good part. So now she's sad.

Bulbel by Mili said:
The hell I saw, voices I heard,
The dreams that I lost changed nothing at all.
I'm still my insufferable self,

Ash still feels she hasn't changed, despite losing her memories and switching worlds. She thinks this is a bad thing.

Bulbel by Mili said:
Thought I would be satisfied,
Seeing you content at the other side,
But somehow I thought these crazy thoughts,
That I deserve to be loved,
I deserve to know love,
We deserve to live in love,
I wish there's no end,
I wish there's no end,
To our time together.

If the Angelica theory is true, then this is the part of Ash that wants to get back together with Roland even if that would cause more harm than good at this point. Otherwise, its about someone else Ash might've loved in the City.

Bulbel by Mili said:
Reaching my goals,
Distracting my feelings changed nothing at all.
I'm still my insatiable self.
Isn't it better to be dumb?
To be ignorant?
Not knowing there is liberty in this world not meant for me.

Ash kept trying to distract herself with other goals, like taking care of the Orphans, but even then it's not enough. She feels it might've been better if she's not aware of the City at all.

In short: Ash is reaching out toward the Pianist's Song mostly as the last remnant of her life back in the City. A life that, despite probably being shit, she wants more than the life she has in Remnant.

Thank you for following my baseless analysis, have a nice night.

-[X] Bring the girl somewhere where she can play her music in peace.

Weird to note how the only real option we are given is the one that is implied by not being written.

Yeah, that's a better way of phrasing things than my attempt earlier

Do note.

Ash's current goal is to replicate the Pianist' splendor at his peak. Which is when he had 300,000 parts for his piano.

Ash starts out weaker than him, so she will have to actually get more kills than that.

Bringing her away from people could be good but at the same time might also make things worse, because we would be "denying" her selfishness.

Not sure what we should really do tbh.

I wonder what would happen if we fed her grim or Atlas' robot soldiers instead of humans.
