Bloody Evolution (RWBY / LoR)

hmm, I just put the three Proxy with binah and kicked them on stage.
I got my fuxking ass split in half.

Get pillar against great split, she parries your pillar… and can't recycle the dice to cleave you with it, effectively negating the card and giving you three fairies on her while at it, plus a free defensive dice if needed.

Alternately, send another floor with cards that ramp up (e.g. Proxies), wittle Kali down, then finish off with Binah once the other team is inevitably slaughtered.

Fairy is really good at finishing them when they are already hurt.

Xaio can confirm! :V

Anyway, let's get back to this quest, so, if we get an expendable to do the deed, what do we do with them? Amnesics (lock their memories)? Kill them? Hope the problem resolve itself when they unlock the aura? Use them as a punching ball for the next time Greed comes to play and keep them in a corner meanwhile?

Give them the option of being our clerk or die.

Can we try to do it ourselves? I kinda want to see what would happen if we tried to use Fairy to unlock aura. Probably won't work, but hey, we've a singularity so might as well try.

This is probably a synchronization or something. Touching an abnormality with your soul parts sounds similar to me. We probably want someone with more willpower to resist mental pollution, or someone similar to Love like Ruby. Asking the GM to generate someone we don't care about out of thin air seems a bit cheap to me, fellas. Do you really think it'll work?

[X] Ash
[X] Lie Ren

I don't really know the show but apparently this guy has a semblance that suppresses negative emotions. Seems good for controlling any negative feedback from ms hatred queen.

The reason we want an expendable to do it is PRECISELY because we're not sure it'll work, don't care if they die that way, meanwhile, the important characters requires us to give explanations, and try to keep them alive, don't want.

I mean, is it a problem if this goes to hell? it's a data point and Binah can fairly easily murder Love if it's a problem :V

Asking straight up for a sacrificial lamb is an incredibly stupid way to burn bridges and ruin our reputation. There's no need to overcomplicate this.

Woah hold on now, Peter Port's character sheet

-Those Who Are Faithful And Trustworthy: Peter truly believes in the goodness of humans and faunus; he has never shed blood in his life and redeemed dozens of criminals through the force of his faith in them to become better.

We need this man

If we were asking to Ruby or Yang or Qrow or Taiyang, I might agree... We are asking Roman, the guy will not only see no problems with it, he would outright commend it, the QM said that if we ask him to do it himself, he'll send a sacrificial lamb, he's going to ne more happy if we don't even ask him to do it himself in the first place, that's what the clerks goons are for.

Also, why Ash? She's new to this, there are far better choices for this, if you really don't want a lamb you should simply vote to do it ourself via fairy if you don't want to explain to someone outside. Asking Ash is just asking her to die.

[X] Ash

Maybe my first reaction was a bit too cowardly.

So you want Ash to die? Seriously, if you don't want to ask Roman to give us a pawn, at least ask for someone who is experienced then, Ash has absolutely no reason to be a good choice for this.

Sadly, with the nature kf first past the post voting, Ash is the only other candidate aside from throwing a mook into the metaphorical abnormality chamber to die. She'll do ok, probably.

Of note, using Fairy to unlock something Binah does not know is actually there (aura is not confirmed for Abnormalities) may not only lead to issues, it would also muddle the experiment's results.

That aside, just because Roman would never take such a risk himself does not mean whoever you send will die.

I am not advocating to send Ash, I just want to make sure that caution does not turn to unfounded paranoia. Immediately declaring she will die if sent is the latter, not the former.

Oh, I know, didn't phrase it correctly, but, basically, my reasoning is such:

Out of all the actually important characters willing to help themselves, Ash is the one with the least experience in this kind of things, as such, if there is a possibility of things going wrong, she is the most likely, my problem with voting Ash is thus that we could ask for Yang, Nora, Ren, Weiss, Cardin, Pyrrha, Militia, Melanie, Junior, Taiyang or Ruby before thinking about Ash, we have choices, why go with the probably worst?
