... While we're at it, is it possible for Natalie to do a short range concealed teleport from outside the house (preferably in a hidden area nearby) to the basement or maybe phasing Taylor as well so they can either invisibly sneak back through the house or actually phase through the walls to sneak down there after leaving? I know that Natalie doesn't currently have a power for that, but it sounds like she basically needs to put some thought into it and she may very well develop a spell or ability to do that. Shadow travel if we're stacking to a 'Darkness' theme?
There's libraries in the states, but given the Bay is the Bay and Taylor doesn't live in the best part of town, going to one could well involve a bus ride type trip not just a walking type trip if she's not lucky enough to live close to one. (Or if there is one she does lives close and it has a low budget and associated problems that makes her not want to go to it.) I don't recall any being mentioned in Worm though, so it's basically the GM's choice I'd think?
Edit : I mean, look at their local school. I'm not saying a local library couldn't be better then that, and it'd be damn hard to be worse, but she might have to go all the way downtown to actually prosperous part of town to reach a library worth visiting... and that's safe to sit down and have a good read at without risking needing to roll on the random encounter table. Of course, to get there she'd probably have to either take the bus or do a considerable amount of walking, so if she does need to go downtown it's not something she'd just pop in and out to do, that's basically someone's 'thing I am doing this evening'.
Or Levelgap can decide that there is a place worth going to in easy travel range. It's not impossible that someone's put the work in to making a good little local library after all. People do do that kind of thing.
Her Dad seems to have perked up, as if surprised at suddenly being called out, before he looks at her direction. Looking at her with his mouth half open, then looking at her with a troubled expression, but still nodding. "A-ah... yes. Okay." Her Dad said while looking at her with an indeterminate look.
He is trying to connect. And I want to give him the chance.

So I'm against the idea of claiming Taylor's hanging around with new people given we're actually only hanging around with Natalie right now, she's still calling us master half the time, and we haven't even summoned our other two generated cards yet to begin socializing them yet. It's a good idea, but at this point I'm of the opinion it's just too risky unless we want to tell Taylor's father about Taylor's power. Which we could, it's an option, but if we want to do that we should vote for that, not for something that's likely to lead to it by accident (or otherwise causing an 'event').
It's because the votecount doesn't actually see things as bolded or italized or whatever, it directly parses the tags that cause the boldness or such. So when the [Letter] tags are in different places in different posts, it goes 'oh, those are not the exact same things, they must be different votes'. Or at least that's my understanding of the most common formatting segfault for the votecounters.

She once again ignored all the cards and focused on the instinctive feeling of choices on her Summoning Card. Grasping on those option, which causes the card to shine and then change once more.
The image of the card is very different now. While the girl is still covering her eyes, she is now wearing a very stylistic blindfold. Her outfit is not a heavy duty armor, but one that seems to be a very stylistic and rather beautiful parody of a nun's outfit. She is still carrying a spear, though there are some sort of illusionary shields orbing around her.
She takes a moment to look at it before deciding to put her focus back on the book. Though quickly finding it a bit boring, she sighs before closing the book.
"Okay... I think we will postpone your training for some days." Taylor said, which Natalie easily accepted as seen by her nodding her head after perking up at her words. After she is done reading and deciding for her plans to her whole day, she have decided to go downstairs and take care of the plate that she uses for Natalie's breakfast.
After she is done washing it, she is just trying to go back to her room when she stopped, hearing her Dad speaking. "So..." Her eyes turned to him, seeing him looking at her once more with a complicated expression. He is just staring, and his mouth seems to be opening, before closing once more while looking a bit complicated.
Taylor stares also, before averting her gaze for a bit. Feeling awkward at this stand out. 'Ugh... why...' She thought with a sigh, not really wanting to talk to him.
She didn't want to talk to him. Not because she hates him, but because she just felt awkward. She realized that it's been so long since they have a really proper conversation, and they have drifted apart since two years ago. Now of all times, her Dad is trying to converse with her again, and her she is trying to avoid him.
'.... I think this is getting ridiculous.' She thought, finally acquiescing to her thoughts. 'We will just talk... I think?' She thought, before shaking her head. 'No, I think it's time I really should stop avoiding him. Just seeing him like that felt so... sad? Or maybe bad?' She really don't know, but that conflicted expression that seems to be trying to think of what to say next, as if he is talking to a stranger, she felt a bit hurt at that. Her Dad is still looking at her like that, so she decided to just say. "What is it?" She said, not wanting to sound confrontational, though her tone is a bit confused, and also a bit hasty as if she didn't want to talk anymore.
Her Dad winces. "Uh... no nevermind. I'm just going to ask if you would be interested to go somewhere on this New Year..." He trailed off, now looking down as if she just kicked a puppy off.
"Yes, I'm free!" She blinks, surprised that she answered like that. Her Dad also freezing for a bit with her answer. Before she sighed and then go on with it. "I mean we can go somewhere tomorrow. I am free at that time." She immediately said while scratching a bit on her cheek with her finger.
Her Dad seems to be surprised, before slowly nodding. "Yes.... then what do you think of Lord's Street?" Her Dad said, smiling at her with a bit of a strained smile, though there is a hint of relief in his eyes.
Taylor actually don't have a plan to go, though as she said that anyway, she thinks she shouldn't back off now. Also, it might be a good time to have some bonding time with her father.
"Yes. I think that's fine." She said, now smiling for a bit. It's a bit strained too, but deep within her, she thinks she might be making progress somehow. New Years. The term used to indicate the changing of the year. The day when Earth have made a full rotation around the sun. Symbolically, it's also a day where most people tries to change themselves. Maybe doing some small stuff, or having a resolution to change their behaviour somewhat.
Taylor is currently sitting on the front seat of the truck along with her Dad. On this day, she thinks she is truly doing something a bit different than last year. That is going together with her Dad on a trip. It might be an idle trip where they just go around Lord's Street, but it is still a bonding time. Something that they haven't done since a long time ago.
Along with them is Natalie, who is currently in her astral form. It seems like she can follow them even when she was on a vehicle. The magical girl can adjust her speed anytime she wants.
The traffic is a bit heavy which is really predictable because it is New Year. Many people might be coming here just to see some sights, general family bonding, or maybe they wanted to see what Brockton Bay will do for the New Year. This day is known for each part of the world to flex their creativity on fireworks.
Well, US and some countries at Europe are still doing the fireworks thing. As for Asia, no one knows what they do on New Year, or anything really.
Taylor doesn't really think it will be fancy. Maybe it will be just a simple array of fireworks. She watches the local news yesterday evening and she heard the Mayor seems to be planning something special for the occasion. Though she thinks it won't be much.
After riding out for awhile, they arrived at the Market, which is a pretty well-known site that is always crowded on Lord Street. Parking the truck on the parking lot, they walk out and leave the truck. Walking together to look at the stalls around the Market.
"So what do you think of Fugly's?" Taylor immediately snorts at his suggestion. "Okay, I'm just joking." He said with a short laugh before they continue on.
As they are walking, they can see many people walking around and seems to be buying some balloons or toys that have the image of various heroes popular in this city. Taylor's eyes is glancing at them around for a bit, and is thinking of ignoring it and trying to pass the time when she heard Natalie.
"Wow......" That whispering tone that is so fleeting, was heard closely by her ears. She can feel that Natalie is floating very close to her side, and if she can trust her instinctual link to the magical girl, then she can imagine that the girl is looking around a lot with some awe on her voice.
The girl sounds interested, and Taylor felt like she wanted to entertain the girl. Though she don't know how as she is currently walking together with her Dad, and she didn't want to tell him that she have powers.
Having thought of that, she decided to try and whisper very gently and hope that Natalie hears her.
"What do you want? I'll try and buy it for you!" Taylor said, and she can feel the girl seemingly perk up at her words, before immediately floating over to an area where she can see a lot of toys around, most of it being action figures of the local heroes.
Looking at them, she can see that they might be second hand goods. She thinks she have a spare ten dollars on her pocket, so she think it might be enough to buy one of those.
"Ah... Dad, I think I want to buy one of those." So she immediately notified her Dad who quickly jumps up in her suggestion, while she just goes there so she can buy something.
"Hello. What can I do miss?" The guy behind the counter seems polite. Looking at him, he can see that he might not be a native here. a bit dark-skinned like he is tanned, with a bit of a lanky build. He seems to be in her age.
Before she can speak up, she heard her Dad quickly interjecting. "We would like to buy something." He said, before gazing at her. "What do you want there?" He asks, which makes her a bit hesitant.
"Uh... no, I have some pocket money here..."
"No. Please let me buy something for you. It's our first time going out." His Dad insisted, making her look a bit awkwardly.
Then she sighs. "Okay." She said before looking at the array.
"Oh, if you are interested, then you can choose on my wares. All of them are at least ten dollars!" The guy said, his eyes seems to be glinting when he heard them being interested with his toys.
Her Dad frowned. "That's a bit high for second hand ones. I think we can get it for at least half the price you quoted." He said.
"Woah, that's too much!" The guy's smile strained for a bit. "Why don't you buy one, and you get one more for free? Good deal right?" He said with a bit of enthusiasm in his words.
"Hey kid. Despite my age, I know my stuff when it comes to toys, and these pieces here are not that well maintained." She is a bit surprised when she heard her Dad becoming a bit serious. "Their paints are faded, and there are some cracks and scratches I can see on some of your stuff. So I suggest going for eight bucks, and we'll take two." He said.
"Ah... what the heck. Fine. That's still eight bucks..." The guy sighed with his shoulders slumping, and she can see her Dad seems to be looking a bit proud that he manages to haggle like that.
"Go on kiddo. Take your pick." Maybe he is going for the buy one take one, because he is looking at her with a bit of anticipation.
Though she really felt a bit grateful, because she can hear Natalie's sound of approval with that.
"Okay, then I will take this, and this!" She quickly pick two action figures of the popular heroes in this city. One who is wielding a halberd and another who is carrying a gun.
While her Dad is finalizing the payments, she is more focused on hearing the sounds of happiness from her summon. It is a bit of a whisper, but she can feel that Natalie seems to be excited. Mostly sticking close to Taylor and might be staring at the toys she is now carrying.
"Are these two good for you?" She asks.
"Yes!" Then felt a bit relieved hearing Natalie's words.
"I didn't thought you still like those." She flinches for a bit, before turning around to see her Dad smiling wryly at her. "Though if you want a toy, we should have gone to the PHQ at Downtown. The Gift Shop there have all the latest toys of Armsmaster and Miss Militia."
"No, I am fine with this. It's cheap and I think second hand toys are also good too!" Quickly, she rattled off a lame excuse.
"Huh..." Danny blinks up for a bit, before smiling a bit wryly with a shrug. "If you say so." He said, before walking for a bit.
With that, they continue on with their trip. After sometime, they are going back to their home. Riding back there while carrying some luggage. Most of it are requested by Natalie, and some are just the basic meals they can eat for this occasion.
'This is... a bit fun...' She thought to herself. Recalling them moving around and then going to some game stalls like the shooting range, or those throwing hoops. It's a bit fun, and then watching those fireworks that are a bit special, likely because they met another set of heroes there.
Specifically the independent group known as New Wave. It seems like the Mayor tried to make it special by asking for their participation. It is a bit special, looking at them circling around with the fireworks as their background.
She don't know what the other heroes are doing, though she heard from rumors that there is a great tour on the PHQ where all the Wards are present and seems to have given autographs to all the children there.
"So..." She perks up, looking at her Dad. "Do you have any plans tomorrow? School will come after that right?" He asks, and while still sounding a bit awkward, it seems like he is talking clearly to her.
'Right, school...' She thought, feeling a bit dreadful at the prospect of going back there. Before immediately shaking that thought out. "Yes, I will be going to my friends tomorrow. It's somewhere on the Docks." She decided to be a bit vague from that.
Her Dad's eyes widened for a bit, before looking a bit worried. "What part?" He asks.
"Don't worry. It's on the safer parts. Not on those warehouses." She quickly said, though wincing for a bit at her slipup.
Good thing her Dad didn't notice as he nodded. "I see. Then that's good. I think having friends is good..." He said, though he seems to be trailing off as he looks a bit contemplative.
"Yes. They're my new friends. They are really amazing, and I think they are very fun to be around!" More than Emma is what she didn't say anymore.
"Is that so..." He said, still smiling for a bit, though he seems a bit hesitant, looking like he is thinking for some words to say.
".... Uh, I might invite them sometime this month?" Taylor blurts out, not wanting to just let the silence stir on.
His Dad breathes for a bit deeply, before sighing for a bit. "Oh... yes. I think that would be great." He finally said, his voice sounding a bit happier.
"Yes. I'm sure you will love them!" She said, smiling for a bit.
She thinks this day is nice. Being together with her Dad, and buying some things for Natalie like the toys, some school utensils (that she reasoned to her Dad as something she needs), a balloon, and a laser pointer that shows the image of a bird.
She is of the royal blood and a kin of the night. Holding dominion over every wolves and their relatives. Due to being originally a bow-wielding hunter, she is extremely good at tracking preys on any environment.
An elven princess that is qualified to become a divine being, who uses her own body and power to protect her allies. Her will is very strong that even the most agonizing pain won't deter her. Along with the use of her magic, she is very good at doing her own job.

I am sorry. It seems like I am not really good at writing a slow chapter at all. I really wanted to write about their bonding, but my lack of vocabulary makes it hard for me.
Like I can imagine what they are going to do, but detailing about it is very hard for me. Like I am just telling what happened instead of showing it.
.... So I skipped it. Ugh.... I am trying to improve my writing with this but it seems like I can't even do that.
Sorry for the bad writing.....
P.S. By the way, next will be an interlude, which will show Natalie's POV and it will show the next day.
That means what you will be voting for your next action is about going back to school. I hope that is not abrupt...
I will be writing the interlude tomorrow, as I am feeling sleepy now.

I'm tempted to write a bad-stuff sanity check, but I don't think that Taylor has much reason to be paranoid of Natalie being too enthusiastic in her curses, yet and this could be a learning opportunity.
If she's trapped in the locket in our first day back at school, which I don't think the dates line up for correctly, she currently has two cards ready to summon and Natalie is following her around invisible like (which, on second thought, might get her a reputation as a girl who talks to thin air, so whoops, but we can try doing something about that next turn if it becomes an issue. I'm sure there's a don't notice me charm that could help.), so if she does get locked in a locker, it's likely the locker won't exist for long.

----[X] A 16's years old blond woman. Her body was a little chubby. The dress is a mix between a white mage and a nurse outfit. Had a long silver staff and at the top of it a red crystal shape like a red cross. Had a kind smile. Had a very gently and compassion personality.
What do you think. Any suggestions or it's fine as it is.
She really don't know much about the world, other than the general knowledge of languages that she got, and powers that she knew she have, but can't recall what it is.
The first time she opened her eyes and gazes at her, she knows she is the one who created her. As the one who created her, isn't it natural to help her?
The magical girl is currently floating on the warehouse that acts as their secret base. Looking at her Master who seems to be reading something on the book for a bit before looking at her.
Despite telling her Master her willingness to obey her, her Master doesn't want it. She outright rejected it and decided to look at her, a creation, into someone who is equal to the living.
Then her Master asks her to ask for her to try thinking of summoning something. Some thing called a Dark Grunt.
The first time she closes her eyes and look into herself, she managed to dive through a seemingly vast ocean that only existed within her. This vast ocean seems to pulse with something warm, comfortable, yet a bit sinister at the same time.
She once again grasped on that feeling, and hold onto her state where she can just fall within herself.
Within this imaginary ocean are many bubbles of words and knowledge that floats around, and slowly drifted apart through the ebb and flow of the wave at the surface of her mind. Without concentrating, she will be swept away from this ocean, and be thrown back to the waking world.
She swims through the ocean of many meanings, aspects, and within. She ignored the shining bubbles floating around, and thought of the single thing inside her mind. 'Dark Grunt!' She thought about it with an impassive face, going through the pressure of this ocean, and into the darkness that is the deep.
She achieves her inner peace when she thought of her Master's orders, and then she grasps it. The bubble that she instinctively knew that she needed. Grasping that bubble suddenly gave her a flow of information. Information that seems to imprint in her mind. And then.... she knows!
Summoning seems to be deeper. Going through the depths of this neverending blue. It is scary. It felt like unknown stares are peering through her form, as if scrutinizing her, or analyzing her. Despite that, she can't feel hostility, only muted impression of curiosity within their gaze.
She learned the ability to shift her state into an astral form. Now she is moving outside the bounds of the laws of physics. Specifically those that inhibits movements. Though due to this, she is incapable of affecting anything on the Mortal Plane. She should dispel the spell first before she becomes bounded by the universal laws already inputted to this universe.
Finally, she managed to reach it. A singular hole that seems to hide the knowledge she needs to learn more about her own powers. Reaching out to it, she gently carresses it, before suddenly learning it. She knows!
She is eager to learn more about her powers. To help her Master achieve her goal. Regardless of what the goal is, her Master is her number one priority. Because she is the Creator.
Just after grasping onto the knowledge that she needed, her single focused mind was without purpose anymore. As she have no purpose, her thoughts wanders. This causes the imaginary ocean to stir once more, before a strong force within the water pushes her away, and into the waking world.
At first, her Master seems to be accepting her help. Asking her to go take a deep dive within her own self to learn more about her powers. She will take that course without complaint. Though after a few tries, her Master suddenly decided to do things on her own.
"I can summon the Dark Grunt now." She actually learned how to open the Dark Realm, though she is limited to the Dark Grunt. If she wanted to learn more, she needs to meditate once more.
"Oh, then let's see what it can do." Taylor said, though she seems to be distracted, like she was looking at something on her air, something that she can only see.
Her Master decided to use her powers. She wonders if she is inadequate. She felt a bit down when her Master is not that reliant to her.
She closes her eyes, reaching into the metaphysical space that is the darkness, and pulling it on the barriers of reality. On the outside perspective, there will be a large hole of darkness that is slowly forming beneath her feet as she calls upon her minion.
Her Master suddenly asks her what she wanted as a reward, and she almost gawked at the thought of being rewarded. It is natural for her to obey the words of her Creator, so why is she rewarding her?
A being clad in a darkness appears. Wearing some sort of armor, with a face unseen with what might be some sort of mask or helmet. The Dark Grunt looks a bit menacing, or intimidating depending on who is looking at it.
Taylor also seems to be wary of it's appearance, though with her reassurance that, yes, it is obedient. She dropped her own guard after Natalie ordered the Dark Grunt to basically kowtow to her Master, and also do a backflip because her Master asks her to.
She is surprised at her Master's answer.
"Well, it would be wrong just letting you do all of that for me without compensation." She really wanted to protest at that time before she continues. "....Ugh, okay.... I don't want a person, mostly someone who is apparently created by me to be slaving away just because I said so. I read the book! I saw that you are literally a living person, with your own thoughts and your own feelings!" She said, before frowning, as if remembering something offensive. "I refuse to acknowledge when the book still termed you as a puppet. MY Puppet!" She growled out.
Then she sighs, before looking at her. "So.... yeah.... I will look at you just how people look at other people. You are someone who have the right to decide what you want to do. You are not just a puppet that I can control just because I said so! So please.... just tell me what you want... you deserved that much!"
"So, is this one unfeeling. Or maybe you can feel too?" Taylor asks as she roams her gaze around the Dark Grunt. Though the Dark Grunt barely reacts, only letting out a sound that seems like an echo of some sort of horn, but was muffled somehow. That's how it sounds when it is responding.
"Master. This one is manifested through the Darkness. It is not made of flesh and bones." She tried to reassure her. "It also can't think. I am connected to it when I summoned it." She said, pointing at the side of her head. "It is a.... projection...? Yes, I think it is some sort of projection!" She said still feeling unsure at the words that she barely understands the contexts of other than she knows it.
"I see. So a projection huh.... then is there a time limit?"
"That.... actually, it doesn't have a time limit. Though it will vanish after it sustained enough damage." She stated.
"I see. So it's literally a projection..." She muttered, before looking at it with her eyes. "Then, why don't we test it?" She asks.
"Of course." Natalie just nodded, as she really likes just following along with her Master's lead.
Her Master seems to look a bit complicated there, but she just shrugs before they continue on with their test.
She said that she can choose what she wants, and she wanted to always be together with her. Maybe it's because she is her Creator. Or maybe because Taylor felt like some sort of a..... 'Mother figure?' She thought, feeling a bit unsure about the term, but thinking that it was the right word she is looking for.
She will follow her. She is sure that she will he summoning some others that are like her, but regardless, she will follow her. She thinks that just the right thing to do with the one who takes care of her?
After many many rewrites, bad schedules that somehow decided to poke their noses on what should be a lazy day for me, and some minor problems, I finally finished this one!
So this one shows the perspective of one of your summons. This is also the template of anyone that you will summon. Basically people or creatures who have the basic concepts to understand Taylor and have a vague understanding of what they can do, and that's it. That's all they have. They need to find out what else they can do to help Taylor.
I hope this interlude is not that confusing. I actually just wanted to post this before sleeping....
EDIT: Added a spoiler image for the Dark Grunt's appearance
----[X] A 30's years old blond woman. The dress is a mix between a with mage and a nurse outfit. Had a long gloding staff and at the top of it a red crystal shape like a red cross. Had a kind smile. Had a very motherly/lovely wife/friendly neighbor personality andbody. Do act like most a mother to people there 15's years old or younger. She also like people in full armor.
Hmm. it's a bit more wordy then the other submissions, and also we've never tried describing personalities before, which makes me a little cautious? That's not a vote against it so much as a 'given how our cards seem to come out as mostly blank slates, I am not sure how that would work out' note. Also I think you mean 'glowing staff', not 'gloding staff'.
I'd also kind of prefer not to do a 30 year old woman as one of our summons. So far all our cards have been more teenager aged which is useful because Taylor is a teenager and teenagers hang out with other teenagers, but a 30 year old can't 'hang with the teens' so easily. It would also be a lot harder to introduce her to Taylor's father as one of Taylor's new friends if she's 30 years old.
Would something like this be acceptable for you?
"A young blond woman, around Taylor's apparent age, in a white dress that is themed both towards a mage and towards a nurse. You could almost call it a white mage's dress. She's holding a wooden staff with a crystal on the end shaped like a red cross, and has a kind smile on her face."
I honestly was wanting to try to do a fairy mage next, because an Illusionist would be very useful for mobility/sneaking and such, but you are correct in that a dedicated healer could be very useful as well. Hmm. Or maybe we should make her an elf like our current princess? A splash of nature magic might help healing, and if we can get a food garden growing in our secret base that could solve our food supply issue as we start growing Taylor's party of followers.
I meant a golden staff. sorry for that. I listen to your suggestions and did some of it. She is now a 17's years old, and delete some of the words for her personality, but she is still a human and gonna be a healer/surreporter. Thank you for your's advices.
Honestly 17 still feels a bit old for me. Taylor's 15 at the start of canon, and we're starting pre-canon. The more mid-teen our party is the less weird it'll be to see us all together and the easier it'll be to explain our friendship with Taylor's dad. But that's opinion and my opinion can certainly be wrong.
Also can I suggest a silver staff instead of a gold staff? Silver's more associated with medical stuff then gold because silver's antiseptic, and it'd be less blatently gaudy in a gang infested hellhole like the city Taylor lives in.
I'll probably end up voting for my version of the write in just because the 'motherly personality' makes me feel a bit like taylor might feel like she's trying to replace her actual mom, and maybe I'm just oversensitive to that but that was my first reaction to reading that. ^_^;
Once we've summoned the other two we should do a quick course into being human, work up alibi's and the like.
On another note, I would be more likely to vote for things that push Taylor into the category of being the team mom, because I think that that would be the funniest interpretation of this situation.

We've got to summon the other two summons before we can start interacting with them, is the main thing. Luckily between them all we should be able to get our secret base livable fairly easily. My main concern is having a stable food supply (that Taylor doesn't have to pay for because feeding 4+ people and more as the numbers grow is expensive), which is why the only real competition for what to do next for the healer write up in my mind is a dedicated nature mage or someone else who could provide food.
