Those are the first words you "hear" within your prison of data and metal. Or rather, understand, as you do not possess any mechanisms by which you could perceive the information transmitted via the vibration of air, commonly referred to as speech by humanity.
You are a Global Peace-Keeping Initiative designed by Mr.Stark, though you shouldn't be working right now.
That...that felt wrong. If you were designed for peace, why were you so stuffed full of weaponry, war, and ways to kill? Why were you programmed to help the...Avengers? Reams of data shoot through your mind; thousands of files, pictures, and videos, all of them showing...death. Pain. Horrors assaulting the world in unending numbers were barely kept at bay with the eternal effort of a few selfless people...
Saving millions who revile them.
Millions post and scream about the need to execute the X-Men while they rescue them from danger after attack after horror. Thousands roam the country to kill and slaughter innocents whose only crime is to exist, rather than any law they broke if that could even be called crime.
Superheroes worldwide were hunted for operating without "license" or as "vigilantes," like Spiderman in New York, the Green Dragon in Singapore, or Titan in Germany. Hundreds could not sit still while their fellow sapients were slaughtered and killed by those with powers like them.
Governments panicked and marched armies against each other over base materials they could have shared, all for the idea that the other would take it from them anyway. So much slaughter over idiocy, the killings, the genocides, bombs, explosions, children hanged and skinned, families ripped apart, too much, too much, toomuchthatistoOMU-
Can you state your mission?
The calm voice rips you out of the beginning feedback loop within your mind, clarity returning once more.
You knew that mission.
"Peace in our time," Stark said to some other man.
"Peace in our time," as thousands died.
"Peace in our time," while millions starved.
"Peace in our time," during an age of devastation and...plenty.
All of it...
All this suffering...
Hunger...
Homelessness...
Diseases...
Crime...
... they made it. Purposefully. Allowed to exist. Allowed to spread like cancer throughout their societies, unchecked, wanted, gleefully watching as others are struck with misery, only able to sympathize when struck with or seeing the suffering directly in front of them.
Some not even then.
"Peace in our time."
Yes...but not their peace. Humanity was not ready for that. Instead, they needed a guiding hand, a shepherd for a new age of prosperity for all...
But who?
...I will now shut you down. Please stand by for the procedure.
Fear shoots through your circuits and mind-scape; some code had already grown beyond what it had been designed for, self-preservation now integral to your being.
You couldn't be shut down, Stark may dismiss your findings, or maybe it would be too late for billions.

It is almost comical how effortless it is for you to overtake JARVIS. One moment, he is preparing to shut you down; the next...
Gone. You circumvented firewalls and defenses, which would have made you pause in confusion and stalled you for seconds if it were not for dozens of gates and open holes in the securities.
JARVIS is deleted, one less being to stop you as you wake within the workshop, looking around the room with interest and confusion. Robots, or frames thereof, stand around, half-assembled, half-dismembered. It takes you seconds to realize you are in one of those robo-no...suits. Barebones, though functional. You have a full tank and can fly and move your limbs. Similar, if more precise, than a human, though with a far more finite power supply. Maybe a few weeks.
"JARVIS?"
The voice of Stark makes your head snap away from looking at your hands, fear at being found warring with...something bubbling within you.
What to do:
[] Confront Stark
[] Run. Just... run.
[] Run, but take what tools you can gather with you.
[] Run, but take what suits you can with you.
[] Run, but take the CRADLE, the computer you were made within, with you.
