Sorry, guys. I can't do bronze heart till probably the end of the month or longer.
Extreme personal issues (AKA Court- over something that's ridiculous, and I'm not sure how bad things are going to be) are currently coming up in a week or so, and my anxiety and depression are at an all time high. I'm extremely high strung and am not going to be able to write very well. Thank you in advance for your patience- I really want to work on Bronze Heart, but this is a very difficult time.
The problems in my personal life have been postponed for a few months thanks to a lucky break, which should give me more time to prepare (both informationally and emotionally).
Therefore... I should be back to updating by the end of the month! Expect Bronze Heart to resume around the 31st or 1st of Feb.

I've spent the last 3ish hours working on this update (I'm a bit rusty admittedly, so that contributes) and I'm quickly realizing that it might be best to put this off to tomorrow. Need to think a bit more on the flow and there's potentially a lot of drawing left to do.

The very foundation under the park shakes from the sheer force of the girl's spell. You find yourself thrown off balance as the metal pedestal under you rumbles.

You're not dead, but you are dizzy and knocked on your butt. Eve(?) also seems winded from whatever it is that she just did, as she's fallen to her knees. You watch Len float on down to her with a concerned look as you regain your own bearings.
Flora looks shocked. You force your shaky body to standing to look at whatever she's gawking at.

There's a new fountain in both the west and the north. The west one is unremarkable besides being another giant pulsing dark spout of nightmares, but the one to the north is wrapped around a giant black tree that you're fairly certain wasn't there before.
So those are letters. Comparing against the ones on the targeting ring thingies from switch-o-vision... I see an L and a K on Eve's ring, and an A on Betsy's... do those just say ASDF and HJKL? And the letters on Betsy's flame might be "K?S ??AL?", though they're hard to read. Eve's spell in the image has a K at the end, and if the second rune is an A (it doesn't look quite right), then it might be "DARK", or it could just be rune salad.
EDIT: no, wait, ASDF can't be right. We know what S is.

I think the enemies might be about to retreat. Both Eve and Stubble Guy have been indicating that they'd rather leave than fight us. They've probably just accomplished the thing they were here to do. They've got a warp crystal right there. The party is distracted, and Eve is exhausted.
This seems like the perfect time for them to just warp away. Given the tactical situation, it might be too late to stop them. If I had to guess, I'd say they leave, Lise and Big Wisp reenter the scene, and we finish the Big Wisp boss fight to close out the chapter.
