Elite Magical Girl because Miracle Child sees to be an upgrade from any heroic girl mage once she ranks high enough. So it's easier to gain one than EMG. Not much to choose between the two otherwise really, so that's that. Curious if there's an EX rank or not and I can definitely see EMG being able to achieve at least one of those if there is.
Not really sure on what to vote for her action however.
Oh, and @Levelgap how will you be judging votes is some aren't in a plan and some are?
I really want a greater spread. in our cards, we don't know if they are disposable yet and I want at least one throw away card [X] Plan: Retry red on the broadwalk
-[X]Draw

--[X]Hold

---[X] A young child dressed with a red cloak with a hood and a wolfs-mask that hides her face, but doesn't hide her blonde hair. She carries a basket filled darts and a crossbow.
-[X]Stay at Boardwalk
I was honestly planning on summoning this turn, just so we could actually interact with one of the cards and see how that works... but not in public, randomly, next to a hero, while we don't know how summoning works. So I guess it's time for one more upgrade, and then hopefully we summon her and start Red Riding Hood ideally? It wouldn't be bad to see if we could get a priestress or druid line going later either, as they might have raise dead available too without the dark magic usage of the witch line maybe? A Grand Witch would still be pretty useful though.
It's a shame that the Broadwalk is owned and bugged to the brim by Coil, otherwise it have been fun to summon a grandma!warrior and see if she would be noticeable in a crowd.

Hopefully we'll be in a good position to summon the elite magic girl soon. I'm kinda tempted to switch to Retry red on the broadwalk now instead of after we summon the EMG, but that'd just put us into a tie, and I guess it's a bit better for our first minion to be really good then to have an extra level 1 summon right now.

I think that it would be better to directly summon a throw away card instead. We don't know if they have an expiration date and a card with the effect or if we have to hide them.

She once again discarded the three usual cards and choose to evolve the card she already held. The image of the girl in a dark frilly dress changes and turns into girl wearing a purple skintight suit, with capes and all.
Despite the silly appearance of the girl, the image somehow exudes an aura of strength of dependency. Like a renowned hero being depicted on a painting.
She stares at it for a bit before closing her eyes, taking her mind off of it. Then she looks around. The crowd is still there, and the heroes are still taking pictures with them.
'There is nothing to do in the house anyway...'
She decided to stand up from the bench and stay at the Boardwalk for awhile. The sky has turned orange as she is coming back to her home. She got to the bus and takes her seat near the bus door, a satisfied mood on her face.
After the Wards have left, she roamed the place for a bit more, and paid for a milkshake after getting thirsty before she decided to get back home. Nothing much happens other than the finding a good cafe that sells delicious milkshakes.
"I should definitely come back there later." She swore under her breathe.
After waiting for a minute, she manages to get back home. It is still quiet as ever when she unlocks the door from their porch.
"Ah right... Dad's going to be late."
She is just going inside the house when she heard the shuffling of cards once more.
"Again!?" She exclaims in shocked, seeing the imaginary cards being presented from her mindscape once more. As for the one she held, a vague feeling of choice has occur once more.
She tilted her head in confusion. 'Now I can only choose a single choice. I wonder why?'
She takes a seat on the couch and leaned comfortably in it before putting her focus back at the cards.
There is this mysterious feeling within her that she can use it. Though she didn't know what to do at it. 'My imagination is running wild again' She reasoned, not seeing any connection about powers from the imaginary deck.
She shrugs her shoulder. "Well, might as well get this over with." In relaxed manner, she mentally chose a single option.
I forgot to mention, but you can only decide on their appearance and any additional description when picking their cards for the first time. The chosen description and genders can't be changed when evolving them.
By the way, sorry about the long delay and the short chapter. I got busy at the New Years party and just managed to put this up before I go to sleep.
So I was thinking and while I do very much want to go with the red ridding hood vote, at the same time it would be good to know what summoning would actually result in. So why not start with a non-human card to see how things work? Plus seeing more options that could be done I suppose. Also something else to do.
So I'm suggesting this, then maybe red riding hood?
[X] Plan: Snow Force Kitten [X]Draw
-[X]Warrior
--[X]Hold
---[X]Male
----[X]A kitten wearing a ribbon with a bell on it, the bell and ribbon possessing a pattern of snowflakes. Said kittens fur seemed to be patches of white, grey, and black that almost made it seem to be in camo. It was carrying a open lock in its mouth.
So it's not just what a card is, but how a card gets there. I'm willing to bet that if we'd gone, say, sorceress to magic girl instead of witch to magic girl she might have a comment about being good at elemental magic due to an origin as a sorceress, or if she was a magus then probably something with alchemy? It's an interesting thing we should keep in mind for the future.
...So on one hand I do want to see what making a non-human character would do. On the other hand, I was thinking an elf or a dwarf or such, not a housecat.
Well, if we've gone this far, we should continue the sunk cost fallacy and go all the way I guess. It's hard to imagine any level beyond this one at least...
