How did that one story begin? To be, or not to be, that is the question?

Or was that a middle? Oh who cares, you have to get up soon.

A Dream was nice, but you needed to get up.

Now you awaken, feeling a bit on the hungry side, but otherwise, it was a great delightful rest you had.

Sure your house was still a mess, and you were behind on rent, but who cares. They can only kick you out once.

AN: I must be insane, but for the 12 days of Christmas, I'm doing something different.

You guys start rolling the dice and using your write ins, I will create a story.

This quest was inspired by many quests, but mostly @Plausitivity aborted but still extremely entertaining SV Writes.

You were making onion toast in your kitchen humming a certain French march as a midnight snack.

To think that in only 16 years, you accomplished so much, even before getting to your junior year in high school.

Sure that event where you somehow summoned the Kraken and caught the attention of Captin Nemo himself probably had something to do with that statement, but you did not really care all too much.

You were just trying to forget the fact that the Golden Gate got trashed.

You were a man known by many names, John Jacob Jingleheimer-Schmitt; a Crewman aboard the Nautilus itself, before you screwed up by doing the great cardinal sin imaginable aboard his vessel.

Making booze and selling them for profit without giving the good ole captain a cut. A grievous mistake that nearly wound up having you killed like the dog you were. Thankfully, you managed to escape certain death from his pet Kraken and escaped back to the surface.

Sure you were off the coast of the Sentinal Islands, and those crazy bastards tried to kill you with their newly controlled fire torches and flamethrowers that were washed ashore because Captian Nemo was a cunt who deserved to roast on an open flame, but the Indian Government was gracious in their rescue… and were quick to deport your ass after less than twelve hours in-country back to America.

But now you were back as good ole, average joe, Novus Highlander. One High School student, and an all-around awesome person. Who had enough stories to say he succeded at life. at least on the adventuring front.

But at 4:30 in the morning, with only pants on, you were making one of your favorite dishes, Onion Toast. A delicacy that one of the crew members aboard the Nautilus had claimed had saved his ancestor's life back in the Napoleonic Wars. Some crazy ax-wielding bastard who was wounded over fifty times, and became a general under Napoleon.

You never heard of him, but having onion on toast was something you never thought of, and it was amazing, and you enjoyed and savored every bite of the crunchy treat.

The tune was the one you sang at school, preparing to eat lunch, had really gotten you noticed, and everyone wanted you to partake in the School talent show, see if you could actually show you had talent.

But as you finished your food, you put on a shirt, socks, and shoes. It was still early in the day.
