Animus Ex Nihilo - A God Quest

[X] Kill it and bring its body to the Harsh Mountain.

We have enough power, and only a single ally so far.
On one hand, Harsh Mountain got his problem solved... on the other, his Divine Servant nearly died. And we did promise to protect it.
Give him the dead, and he'll be fine with us coexisting. Better than having to negotiate with his grumpy ass when our villages inevitably come into contact.

[X] Take its power over Death for yourself.

Its power over death is the strongest attribute of the Devourer this one would be little different I imagine so our alliance would benefit most from either Proud Waters or Harsh Mountain absorbing said power. I'd prefer for the power to go to us but if people want to play nice with Harsh Mountain and make up for its servant being killed we can always give it the body but I would advise against this.

The deal has been altered, the Mountain best pray we don't alter it further...
:p

But to be serious, i think this isn't covered under our deal, so it'll be alright to garner more power.

[X] Let the Sky Child take its power over the Wind.

Let us not be so selfish as to absorb the powers of this foul being, we did assist of course but we were solely assisting we lost the least from this battle, the Walking Mountain is nearly destroyed, and the Sky Child is also quite damaged. They both took the brunt of this fight for us, we do not deserve to gain the benefits when we remain strong.

Its our time to Rise. Strengthen our core and subordinate the spirits.

While I don't think he'll be angry, he certainly won't be pleased. Which is okay, as long as we leave.

It's not about appeasing him- it's about adding another god to our pantheon, or at least making sure that next time we bump into him, we'll be able to get preferential treatment.

We are already extremely strong, and while we could benefit from taking Death Sky Child could also benefit from taking Wind. We took them in and made a Pantheon in part because we wanted the increased utility having two gods with two action/divine pools and portfolios would bring; let's make use of it.

Harsh Mountain hasn't done anything to make us dislike them yet, but they also haven't done anything to make it so that we should be the ones going out to risk ourselves while letting them keep the spoils. We kept it's servitor alive and destroyed the threat; that should be more than enough to appease it.

its our primary method of attack and could help us track the other more easely.

We've already got a good deal of power and avenues to get more, so I'd like to focus on allies for now.

More Power here will help us long term, i doubt our friends here will be to miffed, the mountain got fucked so definitely won't mind as long as we heal with with our shiny domain were getting later.

The Power of Friendship is greater than anything Death could give us.

I would highly dispute that we're extremely strong we only seem to be about the same strength as the Sky Child due to us both possessing two domains although we may be stronger than the Harsh Mountain if its one domain isn't rank two but that's a maybe even then. And, as I pointed out earlier our pantheon as a whole would benefit from us absorbing this power more than it would from the Sky Child doing so as if this creature follows after the Devourer as we've been told than that means its death domain should be stronger than its other domains.

Utility also doesn't really factor into this unless we're giving the corpse to Harsh Mountain as well I'd point out as both the Sky Child, and Proud Waters would be absorbing power to improve domains they already have.
