    The moonlit world is so wonderful and yet so incredible, so exciting and full of opportunities to either succeed or die.
    But what do you have to do with this hidden side of the world? Well, you are:

    [] a child who knows him and yearns to be able to make magecraft, unfortunately the decline of your family means that you have zero chance to be a magus, at least in the traditional way since who says that you will not find another way to be one or something similar but at the same time different (shinji matou AU)

    [] a unique and unrepeatable phenomenon, unknowingly son of the feared magus killer and an Einzbern, but this has nothing to do with you, for now you do not know all this and you are just someone normal, or this was like that until recently you began to have strange dreams, these will mean something or will just be simple dreams (shirou emiya)

    Well, this is my third attempt to do a quest and I hope I don't die before being born (like the others).

    Anyway, if you choose to write, I reserve the right to discard if it does not seem appropriate for X or Y thing.

    something you probably already know but just in case he said it,
    is that depending on your choices it is likely that shirou will not gain his unique abilities or that you as shinji will end up with a marble reality ...

    this is because fate kaleid's shirou is as close as possible (for a shirou) to being a normal person (I clarify, for a shirou)

    And this shinji, well he's personality-based on him before he found out that he had no chance of being the heir and everything that led to it and what happened to it.

    Anyway, in about 2 hours the voting will end and I will write the following

    If they choose they might as well end up with a marble reality show in the curious case that Shinji is as twisted as Shirou.
    and that what he hates and likes is contradictory.

    a little spoiler, he loves the rules, he loves to break them more, if they play his cards right they could end up with a marble reality related to that.

    Read once that shinji's origin is predominance- the desire to be superior. A reality marble that enforces a kind of near equality in which he is automatically raised desinctly above his foe in terms of there greatest strength would be very interesting.

    He's an evil jerk in some, and an alright guy in like, one specific version that I've read, I don't keep up with the newer ones. In the original it's heavily implied that Shinji was deliberately developed and manipulated into being an antagonist for Sakura and desposable pawn by zouken. Like most fate characters he isn't locked into a specific end point that demands he become a villain.

    Shirou for instance goes from a nobody kid who served as Kiritsugu emiya last good deed into haphazard spellcaster, into a badass spellcaster mercenary, into self loathing counter guardian who regrets his past sufficiently to highjack all of Rin's summoning attempts in an effort to kill his past self so his current self no longer exists.

    Kalied prisma subverts this path for shirou entirely, somehow giving him a normal childhood and none magus upbringing, but somehow still having him become an orphan and get adopted by the emiya's.

    Shinji starts as a rich brat with a chip on his shoulder, and degrades or rises from there based on his circumstances.

    Matou's are pretty much an absent presence in Kalied prisma, and there is a lot of potential for recreating shinji from the ground up. There have been hints that shinji has the potential to become a heroic spirit same as shirou, and what really seperates them are there inspiration.

    • Help, I'm at a crossroads

    I do not know whether to do shinji in terms of abilities that he has and potentials the same as the canon (have a carrier trait and not have magic circuits, those I think they are and if I'm wrong, correct me) or do something more AU and give him potential abilities that I would not have in the canon of fate stay night and other routes

    Anyway, to solve this crossroads I decided that you vote

    In case AU wins, another sub-vote will be opened for them to choose which one.

    in case AU wins it will also lead to a change in history and other things.

    ps: if someone offers to be a kind of beta reader I would be very grateful (to write the chapter that follows I rewrote it 10 times and I felt that each time I was making it worse and more artificial)

    Canon has three animated series depicting shinji matou well enough. time for an original take on nasu's favorite low effort antagonist.

    I'd be willing to lend a hand as beta. I have numerous Ideas for a better shinji but you need to give me some Idea of what specifically your aiming for @Fluffy_serpent

    Well, let's see how this goes. I'd have rather done canon so that at least I'd be able to search things up, but I'm sure this'll shape up nicely.
     
    Hello, it seems that au wins, so once we finish making the chapter I will publish it.

    fun fact, if I had won canon, everything would have been similar to canon and this would start with the appearance of the class cards (you would find rider) and zouken would create the book, which unlike the original would allow you to include the cards without the negative side effects nor permanently positive ones of installing it

Father and Grandfather would realize their error in passing you over, allowing you to lead the Matou into a new era of prosperity.

    Today is a normal day, the only thing to note is that you decided to go home earlier than normal.

    During the rest of the trip you continue to drift between thoughts adrift, but once you enter home you notice something that interrupts all your ramblings

    Well, we finally finished this, I want to give my most sincere attacks to @randy who fixed the horror that I originally wrote.

    I just want you to remember that this is fate kaleid's world when it comes to making your choices.

    I will only say that two options have one end with you discovering something that you might not like (in character) and with not so many benefits and another with you gaining something but being blind to the truth (in character)
