A seemingly sapient possible mystic code? Most likely the most straightforward and "safe" method to perform Magecraft excluding the Crest Worms. Dad's room might contain something like an Azoth Dagger or some other basic mystic code, at the same time these are Matous, so it could also be something of similar (NOT the same) nature to Prelati's Spellbook though on a lesser scale and without a connection to the Outer Gods, and the book is probably likely to just be some book on magic, possibly to do with circuits and nerve circuits or something like the Spellbook from Stay Nighy, though Dads room could also contain this

You've barely entered your room before your startled by a shout from beyond your Window.
"Ten-Hut!" Roars a green sphere floating several yards off the ground. Looking closer you realise the sphere is actually a shield, with a large smooth slightly rounded center and an outer band of of darker green encircling it.
After a couple of seconds gaping in shock, you conclude that whatever this thing is, it's clearly magical. That might be a cause for concern in other circumstances, but you'd resolved to take any oppertunity at magic that came your way. For the sake of your great destiny as the heir of the Matou, you would take any risk. No sooner had you opened the window than the sheild floated smoothly in and around you, stopping to float above your bed.
"Decent Maggot, but barely decent. We're short on time, so we'll save the pushups for later. Tho my name is emerald, you shall refer to me as Sargent Sage, or Sir. Am I understood!"
Sargent Sage didn't wait for a response. Before continuing in the same voice "Shinji Matou, You have been selected to serve your reality with destinction and pride as a member of the Zelritch Armed Forces. Should you accept, you shall be one of the few and proud soldiers empowered to aid in the suppression and recovery of the heroic legacy's of ages past that have been unleashed upon Fuyuki."
"Wait, what do you mean by Empowered?" You ask, unable to hold yourself back any longer. Inspite of the confusing terms and vague implications of some form of military service and combat, you couldn't help but latch on to that singular word and all it promised.
"Exactly what it says maggot. You will granted magic far beyond that of mere magus. Your body will be enhanced to superhuman levels of endurance, strength, and speed. Your instincts and reactions rewired to bring you to the peak of combat effectiveness." Sargent Sage proclaimed grandly "Now, do you accept your duties Maggot?"

Something that tells the whole world what you stand for."
You rack your brain for something, anything that could fit, until finally you know exactly what to say. Taking a deep breath and raising your head to the sky, you shout "SHINJI MATOU!"

After that dazzling flash of lights, when you open your eyes you feel strong, fast, resistant, magical ... you feel ... invincible.
You quickly go to the mirror to check yourself and realize that not only do you feel invincible, you also look invincible.
The first thing you notice is your clothing that has changed. The brown uniform of the institute is transformed into a white tunic to which a green banner hangs, on that tunic is an elegant ... heroic green armor with golden lines that seem to be gold.
You also wear a long red cape that is golden around the edges and at the end has a golden fringe. Last but not least in your left hand you have a large ax of a heroic appearance despite being a weapon that would normally look barbaric. And let's not forget that a modern teenager would find impossible to lift with two hands, let alone with one and with the ease that you are doing. In your right hand a large green shield with lines and a drawing that you do not understand in gold.
Also now that you look more closely, your hair lightened going from its typical dark blue to a light blue or teal, your eyes have also changed to a bluish green ... and finally you are somewhat taller and more handsome (than what you were already) ...
If you had to define your current appearance with a single word, that word would be heroic.
Your sargent's voice takes you out wonderfully as he tells you with a somewhat derogatory tone that you're realizing that his voice probably sounds like this normally "maggot, if you've finished starring at your at the magnificant warrior you can become with my help there are some things what should I explain to you"
Turning from the window you nod "Of course sir. Would you please explain the essentials of our contract and what it entails?"
you hear emerald sigh and say between murmurs "calm emerald, it's the best you could get with the time you had ... at least it's polite". After another great sigh, Emerald resumes speaking. "Very good maggot. As you likely know, heroes with great feats are recorded to throne of heroes upon death. These legendary warriors can manifest as heroic spirits under certain rare circumstances. Recently however it has come to our attention that by methods unknown to us, those heroic spirits powers and personalities have been extracted and rendered into cards. These cards have great power and it is unknown what their full range of all their abilities is. Your duty to find and capture them".
After hearing that you can't help but feel shocked, and even a little afraid. Ignoring the possibility of some sinister force with the power to create these servant cards, the cards would be tied to great warriors of era's past. Even with the power he'd been granted shinji would likely be hard pressed to survive such a battle, let alone triumph.
Whether thru some facet of your contract or failure to suppress your mounting dread, something must have shown on your face. Emerald starts laughing and says "No need to worry maggot, I wouldn't be so cruel as to send you against even weakened heroic spirits. Not without training you and helping you adjust to your power first." after a pause to let that reassurance sink in he continues speaking "So be grateful since I turned you into a false-heroic spirit, with all that that entails. Understanding an explanation on how it works would require an education in advanced magecraft subjects that could take months or years for you to learn. For now simply be content in the knowledge that I look after my soldiers."
Giving a relieved chuckle yourself, you nod for Emerald to continue. "Fortunately , I'm not without the means to help you improve yourself. There is a method available for you to raise your abilities and skills in order to better match the foes that await you." Emerald states confidently.
You turn the information over in your head for a bit before addressing Emerald. "What do you mean by method?"
to which Esmerald replies "I'll explain in a second Maggot, but there's something I need to show you first. Now imagine that you are reading a book or playing a video game and open the status to see the statistics of your character."

As such you lack a noble phantasm since you do not have any accomplishments sufficient to create one.thanks to your status as a false heroic spirit if you achieve a feat notorious enough you will get your own, if not you can also get them temporarily by equipting a class card, once you have acquired one.
Once he finished you hear him mutter "mmmm, I feel like I forgot to explain something to him ... right. Ahem.", after that, he returns to his instructor voice and says "Maggot earlier you asked me to clarify the method of self improvement available to you. I shall now do so. Put simply, your current abilities and skills can be improved, and new skills learned, by creating a personal mirror world. Normally mirror worlds are where you will go to acquire class cards, however in your case I am capable of creating a special space for you to train using the same type of magic.
Hearing that shinji could barely contain his excitement. He already felt nearly unstoppable as it was. The idea that he could reach even greater levels of ability sent his thoughts racing.
The explanations that followed were less exciting. There was some expansion on the class cards and there conn3ction to the mirror worlds, as well as how to capture them. After droning on for a while Emerald finished by explaining that shinji would retain some of his abilities even untransformed, but two letter grades weaker, befpre showing him how to establish and maintain a mental link so they could communicate in puplic without shinji looking like a fool or madman.
After all that excitement you had difficulty falling asleep, and even doubt your recollection of event when you wake up the following morning. Only for Emerald's "Maggot this is no time lie about." To reassure you of the reality of last nights events. Emerald informs you that he'll be engaging some spell that will prevent others from seeing him, but won't effect you do to the contract.
Like every day when you get up you dress in the uniform and go down to breakfast with your sister Sakura and your father.
Speaking of sakura, while you go down you see her like every day finishing preparing breakfast, something that although you do not like to admit it you have to admit is that she cooks rich, both you and your father do not know how to cook anything beyond instant noodles.
Speaking of sakura ... well your feelings regarding her were always somewhat contradictory. At first you worried that she was there to replace you. Over the years however you realized how childish and unfitting such feelings were for a proud heir of the Matou family. Once you rid yourself of such useless emotions, you gained a health respect for her many hard earned talents.,She knows how to cook well, she's an excellemt student, and is one of the best performing members of the archery club. According to a number of male students she matches perfectly with the stereotype of an Ideal traditional Japanese girl (they had a word for it but you forgot it). Despite her many virtues you can't help but feel dissatisfied at her general submissive behavior and inability to assert herself. Both were unfitting of the matou name. As heir of the Matou and her older brother it was your duty to encourage her better herself. You'd tried simple peptalks and lectures before trying to exploit her crush on shirou emiya as motivation, all to little effect. Desparate, you'd resorted to some light and middling bullying to try and draw some sort of reaction from her. These attempts also ended in failure and with the more obvious methods of motivating her to change exhausted, you find yourself at a loss as how to proceed.
On the other hand ... your father, to tell the truth was as always somewhat distant, but nothing unusual in a clan of magus (no matter how much the Matou have fallen).
Without realizing it while you were thinking, you finished having breakfast.
You say goodbye to your father and leave on your way to the academy.
After a typical walk you arrive at the Houmura Academy, and head to the archery club like always. You practice a little, using the chance to show off for some first-year students. Once you've finished you hang around a little to flirt and boast in your usual fashion.
You head to the classes, and find yourself slightly offput by how they seem to drag on for longer than usual, yet nothing seems out of place. Then Fujimura sensei is suddenly revealing the addition of two new exchange students to the class, and asks them to introduce themselves.
When they enter the first thing you notice is that they are both prettier than average and that the blonde seems to be the stereotype of ojou-sama. After the tedium of the long day you can't help your interest, and you decide to pay close attention. Surprisingly they are Rin Tohsaka and Luviagelita Edelfelt.
Rin you know from your studies is the heir of the Tohsaka, the Overseers of fuyuki in regards to the moonlit world. Their claim preceeds the matou who emigrated here later.
Luviagelita is no less extravagant in terms of her origin, since she is Luviagelita Edelfelt, heir to
the Edefelts.
All in all it's very weird, as far as you knew both Edefelt and Tosaka were supposedly studying at the clock tower in London, and they are both exceptionally talented in magecraft. While Rin could have some mysterious reason for coming to Fuyuki given her lineage, Luviagelita appearance is much hard to explain away.
Emerald who had told you that he was going to be asleep since he is not interested in the daily life of a maggot at all, he suddenly spoke up "Maggot, they were probably sent to check what caused that great beam of prana that caused your transformation and all the phenomena that class cards cause, so if you don't want things to get too complicated I recommend you take no more than a week or two to start catching the class cards" startling you, something you can barely hide.
While you pondered this revelation, the bell began to ring, signaling the start of your lunch period. Gathering your things, you considered how you would like to spend your lunch.

When you finish transforming you see that Emerald is in front of you and with the typical sergeant voice of his he says "Maggot are you ready to train?"
Barely able to contain your excitement you answer "Yes sir, I'm ready!"
"Excellent" Then with the same mechanical voice that you heard in your transformation says...

Rin you know from your studies is the heir of the Tohsaka, the Overseers of fuyuki in regards to the moonlit world. Their claim preceeds the matou who emigrated here later.
Luviagelita is no less extravagant in terms of her origin, since she is Luviagelita Edelfelt, heir to
the Edefelts.
All in all it's very weird, as far as you knew both Edefelt and Tosaka were supposedly studying at the clock tower in London, and they are both exceptionally talented in magecraft. While Rin could have some mysterious reason for coming to Fuyuki given her lineage, Luviagelita appearance is much hard to explain away.
Emerald who had told you that he was going to be asleep since he is not interested in the daily life of a maggot at all, he suddenly spoke up "Maggot, they were probably sent to check what caused that great beam of prana that caused your transformation and all the phenomena that class cards cause, so if you don't want things to get too complicated I recommend you take no more than a week or two to start catching the class cards" startling you, something you can barely hide.

After a refreshingly eventful school day, you decide to go quickly home to finally use your new powers.
Pushing yourself harder you begin to sprint as you make your way back home. Your pleased to prove Emeralds assurances of improved abilites even while not transformed correct. Normally it would be hard to maintain this pace for more than a few minutes. Instead you feel like you are walking and that you could go faster, but you hold back, after all one of the most important rules of the moonlit world is to maintain it's secrecy.
Once you've reached the manor you quickly go up to your room and follow the steps that Emerald had told you to transform yourself. visualizing your ideal shape, focus on every detail and then the rest will do itself, and after a minute you finally feel a flash of light and you've been transformed.
When you finish transforming you see that Emerald is in front of you and with the typical sergeant voice of his he says "Maggot are you ready to train?"
Barely able to contain your excitement you answer "Yes sir, I'm ready!"
"Excellent" Then with the same mechanical voice that you heard in your transformation says...

Well, I will begin to explain how training statistics and skills works
to train statistics you can put physical training that trains everything, but it is not as efficient as specifically training a statistic.
At the time of training, a 100-sided die is rolled, and the result is added to the 0/100 bar, once the bar (100/100) is filled, a * will be earned in the corresponding statistics and the next * will be a 20 higher (0/120) and the process is repeated until 3 *, once you have all three for the next one, a 30 will be added instead of the normal 20 and the process will be repeated but this time instead of winning a * the statistics go up a rank (for example go up from C to C + or from B- to B) and so the process is repeated.
If you discover new training methods, the bar needed to improve may go down (for example from 150 to 100).
abilities
As for skills, well you can earn them in two ways (the mode and how they are earned depends on the skill)
they can be won in two ways
by training (those that can be gained in this way, such as strategy, reinforcement, etc).
and those that are won through unique events (berserker, magic resistance, etc.)
as for improving them, well there are also two / three methods
The first is training, it is very similar to the statistics but a 50-sided die is rolled instead of 100.
the other is through fights, while you fight at the end it will be mediated what is the most you did and then according to what you did the most, one or more 100-sided dice will be rolled or if you did new things (use a lot of the shield of ingenious ways) will roll a 100-sided die and if it rolls 90 or more an ability will be generated for that.
and the third is through the use of class cards, since thanks to your carrier trait you have a tiny chance (you have to get critical success) that a skill will be improved (if the class has it and is of a higher level than yours) or purchase a new one. or in case you are lucky can you get ??? if it comes out ??? or more.
