Animus Ex Nihilo - A God Quest

[X] [Shrine] … on a tiny island in the bay. It was made from driftwood and sea shells to commemorate your aid to the fishers. (Gain Sea Domain)

I do think the sea is the best to get if we are aiming towards trade and to use to sea to spread far and wide, not sure about the others though, on the one hand I would like to start understanding what we do, but on the other @TalonofAnathrax is right, this is not a good time to be less useful to the tribe, they might draw the wrong conclusions.

Hey, I picked the Sea because it's a neat way to get apocalyptic scripture, association with various horrifying and mysterious things from the deep, and "immense, nurturing, beautiful, peaceful God" vibes all at once. Don't talk to me about trade: I'm here for the aesthetic!
Also, tidal waves are the best divine wrath.

By the way DP, your signature is quite out of date.

Hey now, I did end up resurrecting one of those quests from their long slumber... a sword without a hilt will get its epilogue one of these days.

Luckily we don't have to sort out immediately if you will be the Capitalist kind of sea god or the Giant Squid Monster kind. Or both.

Torn between Weather and Sea.
Both versatile and great for people starting in a harbor.

I am a little torn on the matter of answering pleas, too. But rather because I'm worried about overspending accidentally. Our deity ain't experienced yet, after all.

[X] [Power] Keep putting it all toward answering requests. It will strengthen the peoples faith in you.

I am voting this entirely because of the sea monsters.

There's much power to be gained by controlling the seas and coasts of a land although the lack of power inland saddens me as we're specifically a god of the sea rather than a god of all water.

I don't want to give them the wrong idea that building a shrine to us won't be rewarded and therefore they shouldn't do so where ever, and whenever they can.

Not sure if that squid accountant plan will make it, but this does look like a pretty solid lead for the sea domain at least.

Leaving it open a while longer, but it doesn't seem like there is an upset coming.

It is worth noting that if you just want monsters, any domain could give us that.

You got Solar-powered Hell Ravens from Sun, Taurnadoes from Weather and a Hearth in the city is a perfect breeding ground for Basement-dwelling Trolls.

If the thread's will is there, and there are no yet unknown mechanics stopping us, we can get our sacred maneating monsters.

I don't want to go too far into details with these things since exploring the mechanics is part of the quest, though as a rule of thumb, the question is not if you can do it, but only how much power you need to throw at it to make it happen.

Having trouble exerting your power on land as a god of the sea? Well, have I got a life hack for you brother! Just flood the planet so that everything is now just one big sea and you'll never have this problem again!

[X] [Shrine] … in the middle of the village. It was a small hut kept furnished for you to show gratefulness for your healing and other aid to the people. (Gain Hearth Domain)

Hearth Gods/Goddesses/Godex are underrated.

And I will go down with that preference.
