WARHAMMER 40,000: ROGUE TRADER: THE CITADEL OF SKULLS (Roleplaying on the Farthest Frontiers)

[X] Plan Baby's First Command
-[X] A Gutted Tempest (a single Tempest class strike frigate, stripped of her secondary components including weapons) | Modifier: -40
-[X] Best quality power armor for Tine, Ryia, and Em (and Junie if she's finished growing enough she won't outgrow it)
-[X] Gellar Field with Saint Helgastram's Jawbone contained in the forward mount (1 power, 0 space, +10 to warp navigation rolls, roll twice on encounters and take the least bad while leading a warp route, provides +5 morale to any ship carrying it) Modifier: -30
-[X] Medicae Deck for the Revenge
-[X] Best Quality Augur Array for Tine

Mostly the same as Fayhem's plan, but Tine gets it into her head that Junie needs a way to learn some responsibility and buys her a whole ship.

I don't think Junie is quite ready to be given a starship, especially in light of her recent behaviour...
But planning for the future never hurts. Besides, getting it outfitted will take some time.

So with that in mind...

[X] Plan Objectively the Coolest Armor + Safety First + Augmetics Are Cool

Look, I want to dress cute girls up in over the top power armor, I'm a simple man.

SHINY SHINY SHINY SHINY!
Gonna need some ROLLS ROLLS ROLLS!

Here's how it works!
Roll 1: Best Quality (-30), Very Rare (-20), Trivial [3-5] Scale (+20), First Roll (+0) for a total modifier of -30 for an effective total of 60%
Roll 2: Modifiers Already Accounted For (-30) and Second Roll (-10) for a -40% to your PF for an effective total of 50%
Roll 3: Regular Quality (+0), Scarce (+0), Single Scale (+0 because it's a starship component, you don't get a reduced price cause you're "just buying one" you fucking munchkins) and third roll (-20) for a total modifier of 70%
Roll 4: Best Quality (-30), Rare (-10), Single Scale (+30), and fourth roll (-30) for a total modifier of 20%

But first, you DO have a seneschal who is going to be providing a crew rating roll for COMMERCE to buff your PF! She got a 14 versus a CR of 50 (40+10 for Em's rogue trader ability) for a total of 4 DOS, bumped to 5 DOS by the Seneshall ability, which adds (in total) +10% to your PF for purchasing, which is reflected in the above percentages.

Anyone who rolls can nominate to BURN Profit Factor! 1 PF burned = +10% to your roll.

Get rolling!

also, I am feeling better! On the mend!

Lets try and get this in in time to be the one rolling against 70 and not against 20 :V

Edit: Lol guess i should have waited to be 4th with that roll :p
So assuming any amount of DoS is enough to get things outright, the power armor and medicae are acquired, we can get the relic gellar field if we burn 1 PF, and someone else must roll to see if we get the augar array

Edit 2: oh, @DragonCobolt another super minor typo i saw while looking at the character sheet:
Abby Normal threw 1 100-faced dice. Reason: Must Acquire Goods and Service Total: 4
4 4

Total modifier, or total CR? I'm assuming the latter.

Also, can we elect to burn PF post-roll, or does that have to be declared in advance? If the latter, we can FP that roll right?
Fayhem threw 1 100-faced dice. Reason: Fourth roll Total: 46
46 46

Tbh, burning 1 PF, then burning 3 PF for a total of 4 PF is like...two objective's worth that you use the Colossus' support ships with? Remember each 100 AP above your total is 1 PF, so, like, it'll totally be worth it...
You mean 1 PF to succeed on the second roll, and then 3 PF to succeed on the fourth roll? Just to confirm I'm following you there. If so, then yeah I'm down to do that.

Just burn the one PF to get the improved Gellar Field.

Now, if we were going after a ship instead of a handheld doodad in the fourth roll, I would be all for that, but y'all decided not to get a ship.

Rogue Traders are ships. Ships bring profit. Profit brings shinies.
