To the Stars and Beyond
The Reapers are finally dead. Defeated in full by the Prothean Remnant in Dark Space, the last dredges of the Prothean Empire can finally rest in peace, their species finally dying off one hundred years after their Pyrrhic victory over the Reapers.
Yet, their legacy remains. The Citadel Council, founded almost fifty thousand years later, has developed, though not to the level of the Prothean Empire, as a worthy successor state.
In the meantime, however, Earth, the center of our story, has brought itself to the brink countless times, each apocalypse hardening them and bringing them closer together, before finally, the Heroes of Aeons, The Megamen Aile and Grey, bring down the Sage Trinity with the full support of the Sage Mikhail.
Two Hundred Years Have Passed. The key to timelessness is discovered by Ciel, who finally comes out of hiding after the deaths of the Sage Trinity in a climactic final battle. A Democratic Government, the first of its kind since the great calamity all those years ago is formed, and the first Planetary Body outside of Earth is colonized.
While terraforming Mars, a group of scientists discover the Ancient Prothean Ruins held within, and immediately begin analyzing them, discovering a previously unknown element, which they dub: "Element Zero". The Element rockets the technology of the Guardian Republic forwards, and they quickly begin to expand, settling several Garden Worlds in short order, the Mass Relays leading them to the worlds that were suitable for colonization with surprising coincidence.
Yet another hundred years pass. The Guardian Republic has stood tall through this time, becoming the haven that their forefathers had imagined so long ago, a place where Humanity and Robots lived in true harmony. Man was, by this time, almost certainly part machine, while machine was also part man.
Yet, even as a Golden Age dawns on humanity, forces from within and without plot. Just a single relay jump away, the Citadel Council begins the process of opening yet another mass relay, the Batarians posed at the forefront of their exploration efforts. Their destination? A Human Colony System. Only time will tell what happens there.
Yet, within, an ancient evil stirs. Once thought defeated, the shattered remnants of Model W still look to influence the course of history, unwitting pawns drawn to the last remaining core and his fragments by promises of power.
We start our story here, questors. Who are you?
What is your name?
[] Write In
What is your gender?
[] Male
[] Female
Are you a reploid or a humanoid?
[] Reploid: A Replica Android. A Sapient AI that mimics humanity so closely the difference is almost impossible to make out. Marked by a Triangle on their forehead, mostly as a matter of distinction. Timeless.
[] Humanoid: A Human, modified to be partially cybernetic via increasingly advanced technology. Timeless, so far as humanity is aware.
Do you have any notable ancestors? (Pick up to One)
[] Aile: One of the Heroes of Renown, Aile is still alive to this day, and, up until you were born, has borne three other children in her womb. She's currently Semi-Retired to raise her children, and, while technically someone quite capable at beating the ever-living shit out of someone, she no longer is the chosen of Model X or Z, having forced the two to move on and find other chosen. Wield a biometal personally made for her by Ciel, Model ZX. As one of Aile's Children, you've been taught extensively on single combat, and command positions.
[] Ciel: The Scientist that discovered a unique form of power, the Ciel System, and discovered the secrets of immortality. Ciel, to this date, has borne two other children. She's also a wielder of a Biometal, Model C, based around her own memories of Zero. She's terrifying to fight, and, unlike Aile, has not retired from Science quite yet, being a leading expert in several fields. As one of Ciel's children, you're extremely capable in the fields of science,
[] Grey: One of the Heroes of Renown, Grey is still an important figure in the Guardian Republic, serving as one of the Field Leaders of the Elite Special Forces of the Navy and Marines. He's, to this date, fathered no other children besides you, and is a rather distant father, though an extremely affectionate one. When he does have time for you, he's taught you how to thrive in a combat zone. To this day, he remains the Copy Megaman.
[] Write In: (Must contain at least a paragraph on benefits and how many other descendants/children there are)
Lastly, no hero in this era would be complete without their partnered Bio-Metal. Which Biometal are you a Biomatch of?
[] Model X, the Blue Mega Man, has attacks based upon those of X and utilizes an X-Buster.
[] Model Z, the Red Mega Man is based on Zero, features its own Z-Saber as a weapon and possesses a visor in place of a helmet.
[] Model H, the Wind Mega Man, is based off Harpuia with his double blades and a wide range of sonic and electricity attacks. It grants the Enemy Analyzing ability, allowing the user to see an enemy's name and remaining "health"
[] Model L, the Ice Mega Man acquires Leviathan's abilities, designed for underwater combat, including the dual-headed staff and projectile attacks. Its Searching ability produces a light which homes in on nearby items.
[] Model F, the Flame Mega Man possesses Fefnir's capabilities of ground combat, fire knuckles and flame/bomb shots, and is good in both long-ranged and melee combat. The Buster Edit allows shots to go in any planned direction, but with a limit on the length of the path.
[] Model P, the Shadow Mega Man hides Phantom's soul inside, features knife-throwing and shuriken attacks, with ninja-like movements and abilities. Its Night Scope allows the user to directly target on-screen enemies with a kunai, even through obstacles, as well as simply see the whereabouts of all immediate threats.
